Hotels in Erhai Haixi Scenic Area, Dali City

I booked a garden view room which came with two small courtyards, one in the front and one in the back. The room was spacious and very clean. Opening the window to see the blue sky and white clouds was incredibly relaxing. 😎 The hotel's back entrance leads to a parking lot, making it convenient for parking and calling for a ride. The front entrance is right next to an ecological corridor, and directly across from Erhai Lake! Extremely convenient! The hotel's location is excellent, offering peace and quiet yet close to everything. Misan Bookstore, which is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos, is just a 200-meter walk away. Later, when we cycled past Caicun Village and S-bay, it was crowded with people and cars, which made me appreciate the hotel's location even more. 👍 The hotel staff, especially the gentlemen, were also great. They helped us plan our itinerary, and the food was fantastic – we even came back to the hotel for dinner twice! There was also an afternoon tea and sweet soup in the evening, which was a nice touch! Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel is in a great location, right by Erhai Lake, making it easy to get around. It's especially quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all, and there are restaurants and bike rental/return points nearby. Taxis are also quite convenient. You can see Erhai Lake directly from the hotel entrance, with trees beside it – the scenery is simply stunning. The hotel service is very attentive; the younger brother on staff was particularly enthusiastic and answered all our questions, actively helping us with our itinerary and carrying our luggage. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. The breakfast was very rich and delicious, showing how much effort the owner puts in. There was even a lovely afternoon tea. It's a shame I forgot to take photos. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Dali and Erhai Lake. I truly loved it!

Traveling during the off-season, the owner upgraded me to a room on the second floor for free. I hadn't paid attention to the floor when I booked, but the second floor is definitely more comfortable; I could lie in bed and look at Erhai Lake. Out of all the scenery in the western section, this hotel's view is the most beautiful. There are no trees blocking the view, and it's not next to the commercial street, so it's very quiet. Waking up to the calls of grebes and egrets in the morning, and watching the shimmering Erhai Lake, gave me a Walden Pond-like experience. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and you can eat it anytime before 11 AM, which is perfect for sleeping in. I originally only planned to stay in Dali for two days, but I extended my stay by another day because the hotel was so comfortable.

Fantastic location in Xiajiyi Village. You can step directly out to the Erhai Lake shore, complete with green lawns and fewer crowds, making it ideal for safe cycling with kids. Our room had beautiful views of Erhai Lake, which was incredibly relaxing.

The location is excellent, very quiet, and it's a short taxi ride to all other attractions. The room is super clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with Erhai Lake right at your doorstep. The staff at the B&B are all incredibly warm and helpful. They'll assist with luggage and are always ready to fulfill any request – if you have a question, they're the ones to ask! The dog, Dazhuang, is also adorable and well-behaved. Breakfast is delicious 😋, and you can also order other meals at the B&B. It's so good it'll make your eyes water (in a good way)! The afternoon tea and coffee are excellent too! Oh, and you can even order cocktails 🍹 in the evening for a slight buzz! If you're visiting Dali, I highly, highly recommend this B&B!

The B&B's location is excellent, you can even enjoy the view from your bed. There's a small road behind the hotel for cars, making it very convenient for taxis. The room's cleanliness is also very good. The only drawback is that water leaks from the shower's crevices, and no matter how I adjusted the showerhead, it couldn't be completely avoided, leaving a lot of water in the bathroom. I suggest providing a long-handled squeegee in the room. However, this didn't detract from the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was also very rich and beautifully presented, making it feel quite ceremonial. I would recommend this to my friends.

The guesthouse by Erhai Lake was tucked away in a maze of winding alleys. The owner, worried we might get lost, came out to pick us up – very kind and attentive. The house was an old house in a village near Erhai Lake, later renovated into a guesthouse with a courtyard, requiring climbing stairs. We stayed at the owner's second branch. The cleanliness and amenities were acceptable, but it was definitely old; the kind of worn-out look that wasn't easily noticeable. The photos were taken before check-out, unfiltered and authentic.

Choosing Ocheon Hotel was the best decision we made during our week-long trip to Dali. My girlfriend and I were both extremely satisfied with this hotel. **Facilities**: This is a newly opened hotel from 2026, just listed on Trip.com last month. The facilities and public areas are all very new and thoughtfully designed with unique touches. The laundry room has two high-capacity washing machines and dryers, which are more than sufficient. There's also a swimming pool out front, perfect for families traveling with children. **Buffet Breakfast**: The buffet breakfast is truly a highlight with unique hotel characteristics. From the honeycomb to the freshly baked Erkuai (a local snack), and what the manager mentioned about future additions like ham, it's clear Ocheon puts a lot of effort into its food. As guests, the experience felt very fresh, and the quality was absolutely top-notch. **Environment**: It's close to Haishe Park, easily reachable on foot, and very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. **Service**: The service is truly five-star. From the welcome drinks and luggage assistance to the room upon check-in, to helping with luggage to the car at check-out, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic. The front desk staff were all very professional and attentive. **Xunwei Bai Cuisine (Lunch/Dinner – choose one)**: The dishes were very much to our taste. Since we prefer Guangdong flavors and can't handle too much spice, we specifically requested less chili. So, even the stir-fried pork with chili had visible chilies but wasn't spicy at all, making it very appetizing. The only issue was the portion size; it was too generous for just two of us, especially after having a substantial buffet breakfast. However, the taste was absolutely fantastic.

The day before check-in, the housekeeper proactively reached out to confirm our itinerary and provided detailed information about everything we needed to know. During our stay, they were available on WeChat all day, responding instantly to any questions or last-minute requests. The service was absolutely impeccable. The guesthouse itself boasts expansive views and stunning scenery; there's a different kind of beauty to enjoy both in the morning and evening. Overall, the experience was fantastic – it's definitely on my list for a return visit!

Staying in the mountain-view king room was an incredibly healing vacation experience. The guesthouse is located right by Erhai Lake, next to the ecological corridor, making leisurely strolls along the seaside wonderfully pleasant. The room offered expansive and clear views; opening the window revealed the rolling contours of Cangshan Mountain, and lying in bed, I could peacefully watch the clouds drift by, with the magnificent mountain and lake scenery unfolding before my eyes. The overall environment was serene and tranquil, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay, allowing me to fully immerse myself in Dali's unique gentleness and romance.
