My overall experience at Mercure Dali Ancient City was excellent. The front desk staff were efficient and patient; they meticulously answered all my questions about local attractions and responded to requests promptly. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. Right outside the hotel, you'll find the picturesque Cang'er Avenue, perfect for photos, and you can enjoy stunning views of Erhai Lake in the distance. The hotel's decor truly reflects its French brand heritage, and the breakfast was delicious. Every evening, returning to the hotel, I was treated to a warm and tasty congee, which paired wonderfully with the unique Yunnan fermented tofu. Afternoon tea and juice were also available. The room facilities were well-maintained, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had stable water pressure. The laundry room is on the first floor, and while waiting for your laundry, you can head next door to the gym and use the rowing machine. The public amenities are comprehensive, the hardware is well-appointed, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Its convenient location near the ancient city made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Country Inn by Radisson in Dali and would happily stay here again. It offers excellent value for money, very friendly service, and clean, comfortable rooms in a convenient location. Location: The hotel is around a 10-minute Didi ride from Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas, and the Old Tea Horse Trail and 15min ride to Longkan Pier, making it easy to explore the main attractions on the West side. There are also plenty of convenient shared rental scooters available outside each morning, and taxis arrive quickly. Room & Cleanliness: Before arriving, we requested a non-smoking room. Our original room was still undergoing a smoke removal treatment, so the staff kindly upgraded us to one of their ”Pure Stay” rooms on the second floor. It was also much quieter, which was appreciated as I needed to work during our stay. The room was clean, spacious, had no smoke smell at all and even had an air purifying system. The hotel feels very new and is well maintained all lights and curtains in the room can be controlled with smart panels. The bed was soft and comfortable, with thick, good-quality duvets that made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was excellent and a welcome relief from the summer heat, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The bathroom was equally clean, with an automatic flushing toilet featuring a built-in UV sanitiser as part of the Pure Stay room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and as someone with very long, thick hair, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the shampoo and conditioners. Service The service was one of the highlights of our stay. The front desk staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to the two gentlemen at reception who went above and beyond to communicate with us, organise the room upgrade, and even print several work documents for me free of charge. We were also welcomed with a small gift at check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel has a lovely garden with several attractive spots for holiday photos. There is a convenient 24-hour tea and coffee station in the lobby, as well as a large power bank rental station before heading out for the day. The only small suggestion would be to also provide coffee sachets in the guest rooms for added convenience. The complimentary WiFi is an open network, which is a bit risky. It was a little slow for heavier work tasks but was perfectly adequate for normal browsing and everyday use. Breakfast: Breakfast was the only area that did not quite match the rest of our experience. There was a reasonable selection, but we found it fairly basic, particularly for international travellers, and chose to have breakfast elsewhere on our second morning. Overall: This hotel offers excellent value, outstanding cleanliness, genuinely helpful staff, and a convenient location for exploring Dali. If you are looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with friendly service, I would happily recommend staying here.

The owner is lovely, thoughtful and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy with great natural light, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service was warm and efficient, making check-in quick. The location is convenient for getting around. The bathroom facilities are complete, and the hot water supply is stable. The public areas are quiet, and the overall atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Attention to detail and excellent value for money made my trip relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time and highly recommend it to friends traveling to the area.

🌲 Dali Cangshan Oxygen Retreat | Living in This Forest, I Kicked My Phone Addiction🍃 Seriously, I'm so grateful! The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends.

交通還算方便，離古城南門有一段距離，但是走的話也得15分鐘左右吧，去遠的地方都提前打車，問題不大。, 家庭房是在一樓，有小院子，但是隔音很不好，你要是開窗户能一直聽見隔壁院子咣咣開關門聲音，很吵。半夜睡覺的時候能聽見隔壁用水沖水的聲音，很清晰。晚上房間門口的消防燈時不時就會閃，閃的很煩，躺床上可以看見，建議帶個眼罩，前台也有一次性的不過。, 因為是一樓的緣故，酒店也蠻潮的，這兩天大理很冷，開了制熱，但是空調一直沒怎麼加熱，後來跟前台説了又找人看了，説什麼氣温變化太大，得用遙控器控制才能制熱，才給我們拿了遙控器過來，要不然房間裏是沒有空調遙控器的，不過牆上的設備能調到最高32度，遙控器衹能調到30度，很神奇。, 我看是今年新開的酒店，基礎設施還是挺好的，但是家庭房衹給配了兩套洗漱用品不應該吧，正常家庭房不都應該是三套洗漱用品嗎？跟前台要了洗漱用品衹拿了牙刷拖鞋來，牙膏也沒拿，我自己帶了牙膏就算了，衹能又要一次毛巾浴巾牙杯，後來也給拿過來了。但是我覺得這些都應該是家庭房最基礎的配套設施，不需要我自己再次提醒的。, 保潔收拾房間沒給疊被子，很奇怪，沒見過哪個酒店是這樣的，洗漱台和衞生間的垃圾倒是清理了，但是洗漱水盆有死角，看起來發黴了，不太清楚這個酒店保潔的工作, 內容什麼樣子的，反正是有點神奇。, 前台工作人員態度還是挺好的，還送了小扇子和鮮花餅，有什麼需求也及時響應了，就是晚上太吵了跟前台説，前台衹回答説沒辦法控制不了，但是是否有提醒義務呢，畢竟當時反饋的時候已經是晚上10:58了，不過怎麼樣應該要核實一下噪音來源盡一下提醒義務吧，直到11:40前台才回復説去看了沒什麼人…, 如果怕吵，怕潮，建議不要住家庭房。, 如果不在乎這一點，這個房間乾濕分離，空間寬敞，還是挺好的。

An absolutely wonderful stay! The surrounding area is quiet and pleasant, and the guesthouse's decor is tastefully refined. The biggest plus was how incredibly clean everything was; you can tell the lovely owner has extremely high standards for hygiene – even someone with OCD would feel completely at ease. The host was warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a truly fulfilling experience, feeling as comfortable and warm as being at home! 😍😍😍

Little Red Book (a popular Chinese social media platform) truly lived up to its reputation – this is a gem of a guesthouse! The location, facilities, cleanliness, environment, and views are all superb! The owner is a young man, and communication was effortless; we got along very well, and he even made tea for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with excellent facilities. The mahjong machine was particularly impressive. In Dali, it's sunny during the day and rainy at night, so staying in the room, enjoying the fruit provided by the front desk, and playing mahjong was incredibly pleasant. The scenery is also absolutely stunning, with views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake! Highly recommended!

I can only say that our stay in Dali was extremely comfortable. Three families traveled together, and the villa was very cozy with beautiful scenery. The owner was also very kind, communicating in advance to help with luggage and promptly fulfilling any needs. It's also very close to Dali Old Town, with a wide variety of dining options; the location is truly excellent. Convenient for travel, highly recommended.

Looking for a lively yet quiet place for a family vacation with the kids? If you want a vibrant atmosphere, head to the Old Town. If you prefer peace and quiet, explore the less crowded环海 Road for pleasant surprises. This time, as always, I chose Hilton. The hotel room was clean and tidy, and they even provided a drying rack. The butler was incredibly attentive and met all our needs, even recommending great places to eat and visit. We had so much fun outside that we didn't even get to try some of the hotel's complimentary activities! 😂 The butler also checked in on our travel status frequently, ensuring a worry-free trip. I'm definitely considering staying here again next time!
