My overall experience at Mercure Dali Ancient City was excellent. The front desk staff were efficient and patient; they meticulously answered all my questions about local attractions and responded to requests promptly. The robot delivery service was a convenient touch. Right outside the hotel, you'll find the picturesque Cang'er Avenue, perfect for photos, and you can enjoy stunning views of Erhai Lake in the distance. The hotel's decor truly reflects its French brand heritage, and the breakfast was delicious. Every evening, returning to the hotel, I was treated to a warm and tasty congee, which paired wonderfully with the unique Yunnan fermented tofu. Afternoon tea and juice were also available. The room facilities were well-maintained, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had stable water pressure. The laundry room is on the first floor, and while waiting for your laundry, you can head next door to the gym and use the rowing machine. The public amenities are comprehensive, the hardware is well-appointed, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. Its convenient location near the ancient city made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

I absolutely have to give this hotel a solid five-star review! My trip to Dali was so smooth, all thanks to the incredibly thoughtful young lady at the hotel. Towards the end of our trip, we wanted to send our luggage ahead, but vehicle access inside the ancient city is restricted, making it really difficult to transport large bags. The hotel staff member proactively stepped up to help. First, she enthusiastically tried to arrange a pickup service for us. After many attempts, we still couldn't find a suitable vehicle. To my surprise, without a moment's hesitation, she lent us her electric scooter and personally helped us transport the luggage all the way to the meeting point with the express delivery driver. She was completely hands-on throughout the entire process, showing no impatience whatsoever. She genuinely helped us solve a huge travel dilemma, saving us so much unnecessary hassle. Besides the heartwarming service, the hotel's location right within the ancient city is super convenient for shopping and finding food, and the room itself was very comfortable. The staff's sincere and warm service truly touched my heart and made the experience absolutely perfect. I sincerely wish the hotel continuous business and prosperity. The next time I come to Dali, I will definitely choose to stay here again without a second thought. I also wholeheartedly recommend this place to any friends visiting the ancient city! 😄😄

We had a great stay at Country Inn by Radisson in Dali and would happily stay here again. It offers excellent value for money, very friendly service, and clean, comfortable rooms in a convenient location. Location: The hotel is around a 10-minute Didi ride from Dali Ancient City, the Three Pagodas, and the Old Tea Horse Trail and 15min ride to Longkan Pier, making it easy to explore the main attractions on the West side. There are also plenty of convenient shared rental scooters available outside each morning, and taxis arrive quickly. Room & Cleanliness: Before arriving, we requested a non-smoking room. Our original room was still undergoing a smoke removal treatment, so the staff kindly upgraded us to one of their ”Pure Stay” rooms on the second floor. It was also much quieter, which was appreciated as I needed to work during our stay. The room was clean, spacious, had no smoke smell at all and even had an air purifying system. The hotel feels very new and is well maintained all lights and curtains in the room can be controlled with smart panels. The bed was soft and comfortable, with thick, good-quality duvets that made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioning was excellent and a welcome relief from the summer heat, keeping the room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The bathroom was equally clean, with an automatic flushing toilet featuring a built-in UV sanitiser as part of the Pure Stay room. The shower had excellent water pressure, and as someone with very long, thick hair, I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the shampoo and conditioners. Service The service was one of the highlights of our stay. The front desk staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to the two gentlemen at reception who went above and beyond to communicate with us, organise the room upgrade, and even print several work documents for me free of charge. We were also welcomed with a small gift at check-in, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel has a lovely garden with several attractive spots for holiday photos. There is a convenient 24-hour tea and coffee station in the lobby, as well as a large power bank rental station before heading out for the day. The only small suggestion would be to also provide coffee sachets in the guest rooms for added convenience. The complimentary WiFi is an open network, which is a bit risky. It was a little slow for heavier work tasks but was perfectly adequate for normal browsing and everyday use. Breakfast: Breakfast was the only area that did not quite match the rest of our experience. There was a reasonable selection, but we found it fairly basic, particularly for international travellers, and chose to have breakfast elsewhere on our second morning. Overall: This hotel offers excellent value, outstanding cleanliness, genuinely helpful staff, and a convenient location for exploring Dali. If you are looking for a comfortable, modern hotel with friendly service, I would happily recommend staying here.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The guesthouse is in a great location, very convenient for getting around, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spotless and well-maintained in every corner. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The overall decor was cozy and stylish, creating a wonderful atmosphere. All the appliances were fully equipped and worked perfectly. The host was warm and friendly, communicated promptly, and provided clear check-in instructions, responding quickly to any issues. The common areas were kept very clean, and the privacy was also excellent. It looks exactly like the pictures, offers great value for money, and I felt safe and relaxed during my stay. It's perfect for both short trips and longer stays. I'd definitely choose this place again next time and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation!

The biggest surprise of my Dali trip wasn't the ancient city or Erhai Lake, but this forest B&B nestled halfway up Cangshan Mountain 🌿. As we drove up from the city, the urban hustle and bustle slowly faded, replaced by lush greenery and the sound of pine trees swaying in the wind. 🌄 **The Rooftop is Pure Soul:** I was absolutely stunned the moment I stepped onto the rooftop – the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain stood behind me like a majestic screen, with the entire Erhai Lake and scattered Bai ethnic villages stretching out below. The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple were faintly visible. In the morning, drawing back the curtains revealed a sea of rolling clouds. In the evening, I'd sit on the swing chair on the terrace, watching the sunset paint Erhai Lake a honeyed gold 🍯. At night, a glance upwards showed the Milky Way so clearly it brought tears to my eyes ✨. 🌿 **Immersive Mountain Living:** Hydrangeas were in full bloom in the courtyard, and dappled sunlight filtered through the treetops onto the wooden floors. The natural wood-toned room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making it feel like sleeping right in the forest 🌲. There were also three resident cats, each with their own unique personality, taking turns on patrol. I brought my mom to Dali for a trip and stumbled upon this hotel, Yunye Hotel, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The location is super convenient, not far from the ancient city, yet the environment is incredibly peaceful, like a little paradise with lush greenery all around. My mom couldn't stop raving about the room and the service – the bedding was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive. She loved the rice noodles for breakfast and the afternoon tea, and there was even a sweet soup offered at night. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! We'll definitely be back next time and I've already recommended it to my friends.

This is a new hotel conveniently located right by National Highway 214, very close to the South Gate of the ancient city and Cang'er Avenue. There are many famous restaurants nearby, as well as a great convenience store for snacks. The soundproofing is excellent, and ordering takeout is super easy. The coffee at the front desk is delicious, and the beds are so comfortable for a great night's sleep. It's incredibly clean and hygienic – truly the most comfortable hotel I've stayed at in Dali, and it's affordable too! Plus, there's plenty of parking and self-service laundry, which is a huge bonus.

An absolutely wonderful stay! The surrounding area is quiet and pleasant, and the guesthouse's decor is tastefully refined. The biggest plus was how incredibly clean everything was; you can tell the lovely owner has extremely high standards for hygiene – even someone with OCD would feel completely at ease. The host was warm and thoughtful, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a truly fulfilling experience, feeling as comfortable and warm as being at home! 😍😍😍

Little Red Book (a popular Chinese social media platform) truly lived up to its reputation – this is a gem of a guesthouse! The location, facilities, cleanliness, environment, and views are all superb! The owner is a young man, and communication was effortless; we got along very well, and he even made tea for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with excellent facilities. The mahjong machine was particularly impressive. In Dali, it's sunny during the day and rainy at night, so staying in the room, enjoying the fruit provided by the front desk, and playing mahjong was incredibly pleasant. The scenery is also absolutely stunning, with views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake! Highly recommended!

I can only say that our stay in Dali was extremely comfortable. Three families traveled together, and the villa was very cozy with beautiful scenery. The owner was also very kind, communicating in advance to help with luggage and promptly fulfilling any needs. It's also very close to Dali Old Town, with a wide variety of dining options; the location is truly excellent. Convenient for travel, highly recommended.
