"Pros: great location, very stylish designer rooms with beautiful reclaimed red wood furnishing. Friendly staff. Cons: there was a loud sound of water running in the ceiling, we guessed it was water running in pipes, it was loud enough that we wanted ear plugs. We called reception at 5:30am to ask for plugs but nobody answered our call. When we politely complained in the morning we were told it was the air-con system. We found it hard to believe that anyone would rent a room with such a noisy air con system, let alone without ear plugs. Also, the water from the taps and shower never got hot, only warm."

"This hotel is located nearby a Metro Station and within walking distance to Wanda Plaza. This hotel also provides little snacks and daily necessities for their guest at the loony. The room is large and comfortable and the staff is super friendly and helpful with the set up of our wifi in the hotel room. His name is 小苏 and we appreciated his help very much. Overall it is a pleasant stay and we would recommend others to this hotel."

"This hotel is so~~~~ great. I am so touched by their service. Best Shanghai hotel ever. Those people at the front desk were fantastic. They even provided free Yu Yuan tour with guests. I have to thank so much to Jerry. He helped every thing for us. Very considerate and delicate service. He should be the global best hotelier!!! Location is very good. Right next to the Bund and Yu Yuan, both short walking distance. Don't worry if your room doesn't have a good view since in the 11th floor common balcony, any guests can have a beautiful view of the Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl Tower. I loved their breakfast as well. The lady who checked in for my family for the restaurant was so great. I forgot her name, but maybe Camela. I really appreciate you! 1st floor bell crews were so kind as well. I definitely want to come to this hotel again. My families Shanghai visit was much happier because of these people. If I come again, I will stay with them. Thank you and miss you, everyone."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room is pretty nice. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker, sofa and table. Moreover, they have a staff that can speak English. The food is nice. The only thing is that the swimming pool is not in the hotel, it is in another building for public use and we had to share it with other people who are not hotel guests. Overall, the room and service is good! 👍"

"The hotel is quite near to the metro, around 16 min walk. The check in & out was quick, room was sparkling clean, they provide almost everything like teas, drip coffee, bathing stuffs, hair dryer, as well as a refrigerator. The wc has e-bidets and warmer. If you’re muslim, we stumbled upon 2 halal restaurants about less than 1km radius if you walk from the hotel. Thank you, it was a pleasant stay"

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the airport terminal. The short walk made my early morning flight stress-free. The rooms were clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the runway. Staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. The location is excellent—right in the heart of the Xintiandi district, with great access to shopping, dining, and cultural spots. A special highlight of my stay was the complimentary birthday arrangement thoughtfully prepared by the Guest Relations team for my twin daughters.
