The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that we needed as well. The lady helped me alot when I was down from health. A nice business hotel in the heart of Dortmund. I have enjoyed my stay for 5 days.

We loved it. The hotel is a converted fortified house from the 13th century with extensive grounds that made for lovely walking in the Easter sun. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good choice of food, and endless supply of coffee. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, and super-quiet. If that was all I knew about this place, it would be enough to recommend it. But it is not all I know. There’s more. What sets hotels apart is attentiveness to detail. And this hotel has that - all the little touches that made our stay so much nicer, they pushed the beds together since they knew we were a married couple, they opened up quiet areas for us to sit and enjoy a coffee. But there’s yet more. Staff are all friendly, competent and always there for you. Particular mention goes to the night staff, Ann-Christin and Erdal, who were somehow always able to find time for a nice chat with us despite having to manage several things at once. Go there. It’s fun.

Advance payment on Ctrip two months in advance. However, a sum of money was collected when CHECK OUT later, and I did not pay attention. Fortunately, I found out that I had reconciled the credit card. Otherwise, I would have paid twice in vain. At that time, the hotel directly posted the bill without reminding it or seeing it. It feels a bit dark!

Dear readers, as unsatisfactory guest, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. First of all, I must say that the central location of the hotel is positive. I also liked the impressive hall of red marble in the eastern style. My room on the 5th floor was pleasantly large and offered a good view of the city. Unfortunately, this is the hotel at the crossing of two main roads. This means that the traffic around the clock is very strong and especially at night when the Poser scene tries her PS-stark cars, I was always wake up at night. Also the equipment is simple and has come into the years. The garden fell to me immediately when hearing, because the holder was defect and it was no longer fitted. The very bright room was also a big problem because I could hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was a great disappointment, as low-quality goods were used, the cheapest available on the market. All in all, this was the last time I stayed in this hotel. On the second day I went to a bakery in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't make a recommendation for this hotel and advise potential guests to look after a better option. Acora is quite big hotel some 10 minutes walk from Rathaus station. The location is on a busy street ( ask for a garden view if you want a rest ). We were accommodated on a highest floor (5th) which is likely additionally built and strangely it has staircase inside the room which are extremely narrow. Fairly the room was spacious and the hotel staff were polite. Some parts of the room looked worn out. My personal opinion is that it is not worth the money. Some very high rates considering what it is offered. Maybe Bochum doesn’t have enough hotel facilities so they skyrocket the accommodation prices. For me the rate of 130 Euro ( without breakfast) per night for a couple and a 10 year old kid is insanely high for this level of service. Would never come back.

It’s really a shame… this hotel is mostly totally fine, and I love that it was so convenient to the train station. But the beds are AWFUL. I mean *bad*. It’s like sleeping on top of a table… so hard, I’d wake up with numb fingers, hands, and feet. The pillows filled with crumbly material deflate immediately as well, making it just impossible to get a good night of sleep. It’s a shame, really!

Outstanding hotel! Exceptionally clean. Great service. Friendly staff. Very easy access to major roads and freeways. Plenty of parking. Truly a 4 star US equivalent in quality and room size. One of the best European hotels I've stayed in.

We had recently booked a room at the Hotel Dortmund; the location is perfect for a visit (also walking) to the Dortmunder Stadium or the city centre. The hotel is located in the very quiet area of the technology center and far from noisy transit routes. The nights were very pleasant and relaxing. Because we are in the zoliakie area, our choice fell on this hotel – because we had a very nice e-mail traffic with competent contacts who knew well about this topic and the possibility of a gluten-free stay promised. This was then allowed us at our visit without problems. Breakfast buffet is generally gluten-free except for a few exceptions and the breads/breads are backed separately. The hotel is a very good location for the hotel.

Excellent city hotel in perfect vicinity to the city centre, the train station and the German football museum! Beautiful, cozy furnished lobby and bar. Extraordinary, wonderful, varied breakfast until 12:00! Here is everything the heart wants! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean and well equipped rooms. Absolute wellness hotel. We can recommend this house of best conscience and have been allowed to spend a wonderful weekend in Dortmund here as a family (2 Erw. + 1 child)! We are very happy to come back. Continue so!
