My family have stayed here to visit me many times, and always choose to stay here. Extremely welcoming and friendly team. They always smile, remember our faces and interact with the kids which is brilliant. Special thanks and praise to Charlie who is great and remembered the kids, and always chats 😊 Often, the service industry receive complaints, but the public are less likely to praise. But it is well deserved here. I hope the team receive this feedback. 😊😊

We stopped at this Hotel on 17th September 2022 The Hotel is well placed in a good location, from the hotel there is a transfer bus to the airport every 30-minutes cost £4.00 per person payable on the bus. We booked the hotel through Holiday Extras and the cost included 7-days parking at the hotel, the car parks were large and secure, and you keep the car keys, we had no problems finding a parking space. The room we had was clean and spacious and we could not fault. We ate in the Hotel's Restaurant, the food and drinks were reasonably priced, and our waiter Dimitar was very polite and attenuative. If flying from Stanstead Airport again I would choose this hotel

Staying away for work, booked this venue on ********** and it had a rating of over 7/10. I will not be rating it this highly. Female staff member in bar was the only person there dealing with customers at the bar as well as people booking into hotel. I had to show her my confirmation and payment emails and I was not even allocated a room until she called someone else. No key to room, just a keypad lock (doubt if code is changed between customers), floor of room (room 6) was sloping and uneven, blind for window did not have a cord, no channels on TV in room. Shared bathroom needs attention as well as room, will not be staying here again. I travel round the South and East, staying away for work at least once a week. This is the worst place I have stayed in past 18 months.

When I originally phoned the hotel I requested an early check in as my son was getting married at 2pm. I was asked to call the day before to check times which I did, as they we're still unsure I was asked to call again the morning of arrival. The receptionist was extremely helpful and said we can arrive for an 11 check-in but as there were 4 of us we would be on separate floors which wasn't a problem. We arrived at 11am to be told we were on the same floor as she had managed to jiggle the rooms around. We wanted some more tea, milk and sugar for our room and we're given a handful of everything which was great from the very helpful cleaner and again for the other 2 people in our party at the front desk who again couldn't have been more helpful. The self service breakfast was brilliant. Couldn't fault anything. Thank you again for accommodating our needs.

Came to the Cromwell for the Jersey Boys tribute, booked through Kim’s trips to celebrate my sisters 40th. I had wanted to make it special for my sister and between Kim and manager Dean they arranged for us to have the Astley suite. The Astley suite itself was absolutely amazing, worth paying a little extra for that extra special night. The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing, from check in right through to check out. Nothing is too much for them. We had the most amazing night, the tribute was fantastic, we was up dancing all night. The three course meal was delicious and everything ran like clockwork. We also loved DJ Winston. I would definitely recommend the Cromwell whether you just want a quiet night away or one of the events they host. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you to Kim, Dean & all at the Cromwell for such a wonderful evening.

Over priced, over rated. Rooms are ok but teally HOT. There were fans in the hallways and a fan in my room. All totally useless. Stuffy, hot room impossible to sleep. £16 for a glass of wine in their ”cocktail bar”. You have to walk miles from where you are allowed to park your car (dont whatever you do do not impede the golfers) to reception (if you can find it) and then miles more to your room. £200/night for their worst room breakfast £16.50 extra. Won't be staying again nor recommending to anyone. Avoid unless you are desperate at 2200 like I was.

I have stayed in the hotel for 2 days with my family and my experience was really good. I have never experienced such a good hospitality in any other hotels that I have stayed before. The staffs especially Mr Sarath Lal was really welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would like to come again and stay in this hotel in the future.
