Helvetia&Bristol Firenze – Starhotels Collezione

Florence Historic Center Florence|0.35km from la piazza di Madonna
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the train station. Because Florence SMN is in the old town, it is recommended to take a taxi if you push the box. Between 7 and 9 euros. Always check these hotel reviews, it is too long and too small. Patio room and more. I have to correct it here. First, the hotel belongs to the five-star hotel of LEADING Hotel. Second, the hotel house itself is a historic building. More than two hundred years of history. Third, the hotel was just renovated in 2019. At present, some rooms on Ctrip are not updated. Fourth, the hotel entrance is Lu, the door is Cartier, next to BV, Bulgari, GUCCI. Walk to Republic Square for two minutes. Go to the old bridge of Vignano for ten minutes. Great location. Fifth, the hotel service is really worthy of five stars. Always smile, funny, provide free drinks, the doorman will always take the baggage and send it directly to your room. And carefully introduce the surrounding environment and provide Chinese maps and introductions to Florence. Sixth, the decoration of the hotel is very tasteful. Of course, the paintings and statues seen in a building more than two hundred years old are antiques. And many hotels in Italy and even five-star hotels in Europe are small rooms in historic buildings. The current area in a Baroque building is really small. Eighth, the hotel is a back-shaped building, so the window in the middle room is called the “patio”. If you don’t like it, you should adjust it in advance. Ninth, the toiletries in the room are really luxurious. . And there are slippers and kettles that Chinese people like in the room. Tenth, the towels in the restrooms are all brand new cotton towels. I don't want the kind of towel that has been used for a long time. And the water pipe with a small detail hanging towel is a hot water pipe. It should be specially designed by the hotel. The hot water is very hot. If the clothes are hung on the top, it will be done the next day. The hotel has not made publicity. It will become the net red hotel in the future.

This hotel should be top of your list! Location is amazing but more importantly the staff is too notch!!! We arrived in rome with major jet lag! Just hoping to leave our bags I had informed the hotel we would be arriving early. They were there to greet us with our rooms ready. We were soooo thankful! And went straight in to take a nap! The front desk staff were outstanding, so nice and had great recommendations for anything you needed! We visited with our 3 teenage and up kids and they had a huge triple room. The hotel looks to be a converted home or something and had sooo much charm. In addition the breakfast included we all agreed was the best we had on our trip to Italy and amsterdam! It was amazing! In addition you can see the hotel is very cared for. Always cleaning staff around making sure everything was perfect. Only one downside was no elevator BUT do not let this stop you. It was not a problem for us and we had large bags. If we ever find ourselves in Florence again, and I hope we do, we would not stay anywhere else!! Love love love this hotel! Btw we also agreed the gelato across the street from the hotel was our fav in Florence!

This hotel was fantastic. This was a small hotel that offers so much to its guests. We stayed here for 6 days, so we booked a suite. The room was great with plenty of room to sleep and sit, as well as great closet space and a nice bathroom. The concierge was great. The concierge assisted us with travel plans, arranging a great tour guide, and making great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast each day was great with good choices and wonderful service. We were in a great location - close to the train station and the Duomo. We enjoyed playing billiards and having a drink at the bar in the evening. This will be the hotel we will book when we return to Florence. Everything was superb.

Take the children to live here. The location is very good. When I got off the train, I was worried that it was not safe for a person to take my child. As a result, I found a Chinese-style night scene. A lot of food is eaten downstairs, and all kinds of nightingale beer are also selling night jewellery. A few steps away are just a few Chinese restaurants. So the location is really good, very close to the attractions. The front desk is very welcoming, and after checking out the next day, you can leave your luggage here for hours. The internal facilities are generally old, clean and clean. Breakfast is relatively simple, but this price plus breakfast, I think the price is good.

This location is in the heart of Florence and perfect walking distance to all the sights. After speaking with the woman who checked us in, we found out this is a family run B&B. A granddaughter and grandfather and one other women who this beautiful hotel. I was happy to support a family-run hotel/B&B. They were so kind! The rooms are so beautiful, transporting you to another time. The A/C worked great! There is even a little courtyard you can relax in. It was a great stay and I can't recommend this enough. The hotel was beautiful and the staff more than helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Nice bar located in the lobby, the bartender made a fantastic Aperol Spritz. Breakfast was abundant with many choice’s and very attentive staff, and when they bring you coffee it is a pot full, not a cup at a time. Great location. Easy walking distance to all the local restaurants, historic sites and train station. Wonderful view of Florence along the Arno river.

Charge 70 euro late check-in fee!!! I did my online check-in 2 days prior to arrival & received an email advising me there would be a late check-in fee. I replied advising this was disappointing as I would have booked a different hotel had I known this at time of booking, but did not receive a reply. I paid for my taxi before at 1.50am and checked into the hotel by 2am. Upon arrival there was 1 man at the hotel, I was just given my room key and shown to my room. There was no mention of sorting out a payment the following morning, and if I was told this, I would have sorted it out there and then as I was not tired at the time or if I had a response to my email I would have stayed with my friends on the first night even though I had already paid for my room. The next morning when I went to reception and they did not say anything about my check-in or outstanding payment as I had paid in full at time of booking. On the last night I didn't get any fresh towels or toiletries. When I checked out, the lady at reception told me to pay 70 euro for late check-in. I said the fee was unreasonable since I advised the hotel I'd be arriving around midnight at time of booking and was not told about the fee till 2 days prior to arrival after doing the online check-in which did not disclose the fee either, she started mumbling rude remarks under her breath in Italian when I asked her to show me the fee on their website/ time of booking and she showed me the reception opening hours on their website but was not able to show me the fee anywhere. She insisted this was normal, I said I work for a hotel and it most certainly is not normal to charge a 70 euro late check-in fee when the hotel doesn't have after hours check-in procedures in place. Otherwise they should have a disclosure on the website advising that there is a late check-in fee after hours, but they do not. They just say check-in is available until 13:00. My friends stayed across the road in a stunning boutique hotel and were given an access code with keys to access their room and did not pay a late check-in fee. I explained that we have a safe for people to access keys after hours and we don't charge a late check-in fee either. I was saying the fee is not advertised anywhere and I wanted to see it in writing before I paid anything. She then said they pay 10 euro per hour for someone to stay back and check me in, now they are saying they pay 17.50 euro an hour. I said if I had known this I would have booked a different hotel or stayed with my friends for the first night, even though I had already paid for the room in full at time of booking. I said I was happy to pay 10 euro per hour from 11pm when reception closed to 2am, when I checked in, not 3am that they made up, because of a delayed flight, but was not paying the unreasonable fee of 70 euro, so she told me to take it up with the airline. She then got her colleague to tell me it was 45 euro till midnight and 75 euro after midnight and kept mumbling rud
