Hotels in Hiroshima

"The room was quite large and well-maintained. However, the toilet still had a lingering old pipe smell. The bed was fairly comfortable. The water pressure was sufficient. I discovered the air conditioner in the room was broken. After the staff inspected it, they changed me to a different room. The air conditioner there was cool enough. However, after adjusting the temperature, it only blew out weak air. I had to turn it off and on again, and avoid adjusting the temperature midway. I chose 22 degrees Celsius, which felt just right."

"This Hotel is fantastic and I’d absolutely stay here again. The onsen on the top floor features a large communal bath and a sauna. The bed is very comfortable and there’s also a mini fridge for chilling drinks. They have a self service Laundry with separate dryers on the ground floor next to the rather unused Internet lounge. The breakfast in the morning was very filling with a great variety of soups, salads, congee, breads and proteins. It’s only a short stroll to Hiroshima Station for a great range of local delicacies like Okonomiyaki. Staff were attentive and helpful speaking a little English. Will gladly stay again. Arigato Gozaimasu!"

"The hotel staff was very friendly and always ready to help when you enter the hotel. They also understands English when my Japanese fails me haha. They have a coffee machine that one can use once a day behind the staircase. They also have breakfast in buffet style only for ¥500. I find it quite delicious, you can purchase the ticket at the counter. You have buy in advance as it might run out. The location is very convenient its less than 5 minutes walk to the closest tram station. It is also close the atomic bomb museum. You can also borrow mama chari(bicycle) from the hotel for up to 4 hours. It is convenient for getting food or go to the peace park. They have sleepwear and amenities you can take opposite the front desk."

"There was a large public bath, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and included Hiroshima specialties, so I was very satisfied! The receptionist was also very polite and helpful. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that even though I asked for a non-smoking room, it smelled of cigarettes, and the air conditioning didn't work well, so the room didn't get as cool as I'd hoped. The smell of cigarettes was quite strong even when I was walking down the long hallway."

"Couldn't fault a thing. The room wasn't particularly spacious, but it was impeccably clean. The service was polished and efficient, and the staff's friendly greetings made me feel very welcome. I'll definitely be staying here again."

"The hotel is amazing. They were so friendly, nice and helpful. They made reservations at restaurant that did not have online reservation system on the phone, since we cannot speak japanese. They also helped with everything: e.g. you can buy the cable car day and more days passes there."

"Hotel is nearby Chuden-Mae stop. I got a bigger room for the price of single room and I'm glad I got that. My friend got a single room and she could barely open her luggage. Double room has more than enough space. Very long table for work and stuff. Amenities so-so. No mineral water provided. Room has window but view was of the next building. Hallway outside rooms also had no window. No coffee machine as I recalled. But overall was still a good stay."

"The location of the hotel is ok, within walking distance to the center of Hiroshima. The price is reasonable, it's clean, and the staff is friendly. It is close to the light rail station, and you can walk to Hiroshima Bus Center in more than ten minutes. It is very convenient to travel to other surrounding cities."

"Even though it was winter time, the dorm was fully air conditioned all the time which made the staying experience relaxing and worry-free especially at night time. I had good sleep every night. Convenience stores were in walking distance. Best place in the area I would say."

"All three staff members checking in at the counter couldn't even speak simple English. If they couldn't even understand words written down, how could they possibly do their job at the counter? There were a lot of problems. Most of the staff members guiding and serving in the breakfast restaurant were friendly, but the male staff member wearing glasses standing at the entrance on Sunday morning, April 27th, stood stiffly, didn't say hello, and didn't do anything. I think it would be better for the hotel to assign this person to a different job. Please make sure to improve this."
