Mori No RyoTei Mount Bandai

I stayed at Mt. Bandai. The lobby is quite spacious and nice. It has a relaxing a**osphere. The room is spacious for two people. It is spacious and you can watch TV. There is enough space to put your luggage in the room. The view outside is covered with white snow and is beautiful. This is an inn that makes you feel like you are at a hot spring. The bath is spacious and nice. It is not too hot, so you can take your time in the hot spring. It is said to be a hot spring rich in iron. I think it is a large and good hot spring. The water is also good. It is not too hot, so you can take your time in the bath. The hot spring for men and women was switched early in the morning, so I went in. There are two open-air baths, so you can take a bath while looking at the snowy scenery. This is the good thing about hot springs in Fukushima. Dinner was a little light. I had sashimi, hot pot, tempura, etc. while drinking sake. It felt like country cuisine and was very calming. When I ate it, there was a decent amount of food. I was quite full. Breakfast was simple and felt like a breakfast at an inn. It was nice that porridge was provided. Overall, it was a nice inn where you could spend a relaxing time. The a**osphere and hot springs were great. I would definitely like to stay here again.

I had been interested in Yokomuki Onsen for a while, ever since I noticed a sign that read "Life is forward, hot springs are sideways...". It is located between Nakanosawa Onsen and Tsuchiyu Onsen, and it seems to be an old hot spring known only to those in the know as a therapeutic hot spring. This time I was taken care of by Mount Bandai. As it is close to a ski resort, it was built for skiers, and some parts were showing signs of aging. Overall the facility was not clean, but the hot spring was good. The temperature was just right, not too hot. However, the water is rich in nutrients, so I stayed in it for too long and almost got overheated. There is also a reclining bath, but you need to be careful with this as it can be dangerous. The food was not extravagant, but I got the impression that it was mostly mountain produce. It seems they also offer day trips, so if you're interested I recommend going there. Day trips are 700 yen without a towel.

Although I stayed on a Saturday, I was able to take a leisurely soak in the hot springs, and the staff at dinner and breakfast were very helpful 🙇‍♀️
