Hotels near Zindan Han in Istanbul

It's almost close to everything. Room looks exactly like the pictures. Service very nice. Everything was actually great, except that the room was on the street side and you could hear a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn't a problem. Everything was good.. It's plenty for people who don't stay in the room all the time..

I have been here at the hostel for a week. The service is very nice and they help where they can. I had a room change without problems and these are clean and relatively quietly located to a side street. The bakery faces one in the morning with the smell of fresh bread ;) However, no loud supply. Breakfast is nice, marmelade, honey, some vegetables and tea, water or coffee. It is worth mentioning that the staff members clean every day. Only in the bathroom is a hook to hang up and protect his stuff and cultural bags from wet :D

My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

Hotel in Taxim Square, in a location that serves the movements in the city center and you find many shops and restaurants, rooms with no view and with a lot of noise from the street. The breakfast is poor, only the view from the morning room is worth it.

Everything was great. Especially hotel staff was very helpful and always positive and smiling. Location of hotel is really really good, it is within the walking distance to GALATA Tower, Beyoglu street, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Mosque, Misir Carshisi. Moreover, for shopping there are many souvenir shops and brand magazines, lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms have great view of Sea, the only cons is that rooms are minimal sized.

the reception staff was exceptional especially Tunc, as for the housekeeping i believe they are not as professional as they should be since our kettle was full of nescafe when we checked in. luckily Tunc was kind and made sure we got a clean one :)

I would say all the price is for the location near sultanahmet & the tram station nearby. The property looks outdated and the rooms are not so well kept or equipped. Actual rooms differ from the what are shown during the booking process. The hotel have got centralised air conditioned system managed by the hotel management. During our visit we had to ask them to provide us with a fan as the room was super hot and suffocating due to central heating. The bathroom was clean but the sink was small and had drainage issues. Beds were comfortable and the linen were clean. Room service need to be a little pro active as I asked to be provided 2 water bottles to keep my fast which were never provided. I don’t think I’d chose to stay there again for the price provided.

My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.

I am quite fortunate to come across this wonderful boutique hotel in Istanbul. I’ve been staying in Findikli everytime I visit but this by far is the best one for me. Arriving at the hotel is a refreshing experience itself, where trees, a peaceful local community vibe and a pleasant hotel lobby welcoming you as you start on your Loop Bosphorous experience. A quaint and elegant lobby with a wonderful staff will be welcoming you as you enter this property. Check in and check out was fairly easy and swift. Luggage assistance was provided by the staff and directed me to my room (or i should say Home) right away. Elevator is present which is very convenient for all. The room I got was with the beautiful bosphorous view. I wanted to book the Suite, however, it was not available during that time, but I was already pleased with the room I got anyway. The white, grey, and gold interior matches with a striking natural light coming from the windows are just perfect for a calming proper rest for those seeking a mini vacation from a busy lifestyle. The room has an ensuite shower room with the same elegant aesthetic as the room. Ive observed that the linens, beddings, furniture and fixtures found in the room were of premium quality. Shower, toilet and comfort amenities provided are of the same good quality. The room is equipped with a standard fully stocked mini fridge, hair dryer, and a decent air conditioner. As for the space, I find it just right with an adequate provision to store your suitcase. Breakfast was part of my booking but I just couldn’t wake up on time to experience it. Ot is offered at the restaurant located at the same floor of the lobby which is beside a lovely pool and a pool bar which offers yet another captivating view of the Bosphorous and the residential neighborhood around. Seeing this amenity for a boutique hotel alone, upon check-in made me realize I booked the right hotel already. Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and ala carte menu is available from the restaurant. Just wasn’t sure about any room service feature, as I didn’t even thought about it during my stay. I’ve also noticed a self serving water and coffee station in the lobby for all the guests which is another plus. I have observed that the hotel is fairly new hence a well maintained standard for cleanliness and upkeep was noticeable. The design of the hotel is modern yet refreshing, the same time comfortable and relaxing for all type of travelers. I am hopeful that they can maintain the cleanliness and over all presentation of the hotel as the years go by. As for the location, Findikli will always be my choice to stay at. Its situated on a hill so during check-in and check out, assistance from the hotel staff is required and will definitely be provided, when carrying and loading your suitcases to and from your transport. I chose this hotel mainly because of its location. There are other hotels around, but not on the platform. The environment around the hotel is a bit noisy. The room is relatively small, and the bed is relatively short, making it difficult to move around. The advantage is that it is very clean, has all the facilities, and can have a comfortable shower. The breakfast is not rich, it is all wrapped in plastic, which is a bit lacking. Overall, this price is quite recommended.
