Safety and hygiene issues. Poorly managed buisness NO COVID PRECAUTIONS WITH ROOM CLEANING I went to office around 7:30am and found 3 staff in the back room chatting away. Front desk staff were rude when I mentioned the parking lot and sidewalks were a sheet of ice after I fell on way from back building to office to get a morning coffee. Two staff completely ignored me and the oth.er make staff just stared blankly with no concern that I just fell on the ice....The female housekeeper went outside to sprinkled a coffee cup worth of salt in front of entrance and made it to me clear it ”wasn't her job”....she was slipping on the ice too. When I asked who's job it was, she stated abruptly ”I dunno ” and went inside. I approached the male front desk clerk to ask for a small container to put salt in so I can taje it with me to safety make it back to my room....he quickly replied ”no I don't have anything”. I noticed a small cardboard box and pointed it out that would be sufficient for salt so I can salt the sidewalk myself....he loudly sighed, rolled his eyes and ignored me. While he was setting up the continental breakfast as I asked where I could find it ( management the night before said it would be available at 7am), he said to me in a very annoyed tone ”just take the sidewalk back to your room”. I expressed its covered in a thick sheet of ice. He grabbed the keys and told me...”I'm the only one here you need to leave”. When I clarified to him that I can not safety walk back to my building due to the ice and its approx 20°outside...he said in a condescending and confrontational tone ”I know!...that is why I have to leave to salt it”. I made my way back to my room which is a separate building across the parking lot. Another housekeeper came across the parking lot with their cart and mentioned how icy it was....she stated they sometimes will sand it but only when the maintenance guy gets around to it often after 10am if he even shows up.... When I returned to my room to pack my things, I noticed the bedsheets had dried blood stains under the pillows. I wish I noticed this BEFORE I slept here. We arrived late the night before and went right to bed after going to the restaurant upon arrival...as I started lnspecting to room more, I found it was really gross and had not had a proper cleaning in God knows ho

Hilton Garden Inn has always been my go-to place, and although I have enjoyed my stay at every single one I have gone to so far (Evanston IL and Springfield MA), this Ithaca location has been the best one thus far. We came to Ithaca to visit the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and upon discovering that Ithaca had a HGI, we booked right away. Every single staff member at Ithaca was patient, more than willing to help, and gave just the right information at the right time. The care and attentiveness actually started a few days before our check-in day, with Jessica and Rachel responding to any question I had asked. I appreciated that the wellness texts continued during our visit as well. There were two restaurants onsite, and the area also has many eateries that we grew to love (especially CollegeTown Bagels!). Parking was conveniently across the street from the onsite Starbucks. The entire room was clean, beds were very comfortable for the weary travelers, and as an added touch, the front lobby featured delicacies that were made by local businesses. I really appreciated that connection to the community, and believe that it definitely puts the Ithaca location above all others. Whenever we are back in Ithaca, we will be sure to book at HGI Ithaca again. Thank you so much for a memorable and pleasant stay!

For the children to go to Cornell University summer research, compare several hotels in Ithaca, and finally choose this cost-effective one. In the past, there were more choices of Hilton hotels, and this one did not disappoint us. The child arrived at noon on July 28th and had not yet arrived at check-in time. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming and checked in immediately, allowing the child to rest after dozens of hours of boat and car straining. For a few days in the hotel, we can feel the thoughtful and meticulous service of the hotel, the quality of breakfast is also very good, and the need for defense under the epidemic has taken care of us thousands of miles away. The hotel is very close to Cornell University and college town. The child is very satisfied and willing to recommend this hotel to friends.

The location is on the edge of the town, the surrounding facilities are very convenient, oil stations, shopping malls (discount stores), restaurants are also quite a lot, there is a Chinese restaurant Sichuan restaurant ten minutes walk, the hotel provides a simple American breakfast, but not many varieties but still delicious There are also fruits, the room is spacious, two 1'.5 meters bed, comfortable, bathing water is large, overall good!

The rooms in lobby were super clean and spacious. Complementary coffee was available at the front desk in the morning. You could dine at the restaurant indoors or outdoors which we did not take advantage of. The hotel's in a perfect location downtown so we checked out the restaurants in the area

The hotel has an excellent location, right on the beautiful Cornell campus. The service staff is very professional and friendly, and it is clean and tidy. The gym is a bit small, but it does not affect the overall hotel experience.

The location is very good, the transportation is very convenient, it is very close to the pedestrian street, and there are many convenience stores around the restaurant. The standard room is two meters wide and can accommodate a family of four without an extra bed. There is free parking and there is a gas station next to it. Hotel service is very good.

A three-star hotel is standard, far from the city center, there are large supermarkets and restaurants nearby, there is a Chinese restaurant Szechuan cuisine not far away, and the milkshake park is not very far, there is parking lot, if you drive well

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE! The Hampton Inn Ithaca was one fo the worst hotel experiences of my life. First of all, this place claims to be pet friendly, but they charged me a $100 non-refundable pet fee for my emotional support pet. You are also not allowed to leave your pet unattended in the room at any time. Doesn't seem very pet friendly to me. Furthermore, the rooms were disgusting. The bathrooms and surfaces had clearly not been cleaned and there was trash under the couch. We had them move us to a different room, but the new room was just as dirty. The pool was also closed, which was a bummer, but the hotel staff said not to use the jacuzzi either because the filters circulated fecal matter and they could not do anything about it. We tried to watch TV in our hotel room in the evening, but they do not provide Netflix or anything and the TV channels all were picking up a lot of static to the point where it was difficult to watch anything. The hotel is also supposed to offer free breakfast, which I guess they do if you consider a waffle maker and some sausages breakfast. The spread was severely lacking any substance or effort. The hotel staff also was not very friendly or helpful. We didn't have very high expectations for this hotel, but it still managed to disappoint. The Hampton Inn Ithaca basically ruined our weekend trip. The conditions were worse than most motels. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Can live! Don't ask for any quality! I saw the comments of the predecessors, thinking that the second floor rooms are better, not black, not tide, and ask for the second floor room in advance. When I arrived at the store, I was told that there was no elevator! Happy son is big! Help me with the box! Behind the travellers carefully choose.
