Charming place with lots of history. Food was excellent and the wine list impressive. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

We stayed in the newer rooms and they were wonderful. The hotel has been beautifully restored. The spa is small but there weren't a lot of people. The breakfast was delicious (especially the orange juice!). The grounds have trails which was nice for longer walks. The restaurant at the golf club (not sure if part o the hotel?) was delicious with great service. The horse stables (not part of hotel) was a nice touch...and we ended up meeting one of the boarders who could not have been more hospitable and friendly. I would have given this hotel 4 stars as I tried to get another room one night as I had a nonstop cough and didn't want to keep my friend up. But the overnight staff could not do anything about it even though there were rooms. However, this was quickly made up the next morning when the daytime front desk was able to help me -- and went out of her way to get me a doctor's appoin**ent. Not at all an easy task for a non-Swede with an urgent need. She went above and beyond to help me including making sure the taxi got me to the clinic. I'm very appreciative of the care! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Beautiful castle and suroundings. The food was okay but not extraordinary. We really missed an explanation to the dishes and wines. Had booked the wedding suit, but got a normal room.

Slottet er stemningsfyldt og hyggeligt, men manglede udluftning i gange og i opholdsstuerne.
Vi var der i fire dage, og kunne godt have brugt en støvsugning på en af dagene.
Morgenmaden er super.
Ved Middagen savnede vi en vegetarret, personalet løste det med at lave to større velsmagende forretter.
Slottets beliggenhed er dejlig og det er nemt at tage på udflugt derfra med de gode veje og udflugtspunkter der er i området.

Accueil mal organisé. Espace de réception indigent alors que les parties communes auraient permis d'installer une réception confortable. Le charme est un peu vintage et les salles de bains vieillots. piscine froide. Le château a un beau potentiel qui mériterait une réorganisation des espace et une rénovation des équipements et de la décoration.

Vi kom til hotellet og fik et rigtig fint værelse, så langt så godt. Vi havde fået afvide at der var internet og mulighed for Netflix på hotellet. Nettet virkede på ingen måde og da vi brokkede os blev vi lovet at der ville komme en og kigge på det, hvilket der aldrig gjorde. Vi skulle så spise morgenmad dagen efter, frugten var virkelig ulækker og bestemt over sidste anvendelses dato og deres røræg var vandede og med knas, føj. Og nærmest ingen personale at finde. Hotellet er så smukt og virkelig i skønne omgivelser, men de andre ting gør at vi ihvertfald ikke kommer igen.
