We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle on the beach, the location is excellent, the resort is just a few mins walk away from the kovalam beach, if you have to go places there is ofcourse the hotel cab but there are also tons of cabs and autorickshaws available outside the gate, making your travel hassle free. The best part of the resort is the staff, they are super friendly and very hospitable and accommodating. We wanted to go to Varkala from the resort using public transport and the staff wrote down each and every step in detail from boarding a bus to a train where to get off etc etc, this was super useful as this by far was the fastest way to reach Varkala from Kovalam (even taxi’s will probably take double the time). They also readily accommodated our request for a late checkout, no questions asked! All in all a fantastic stay and special thanks to Rajesh, Srilakshmi, Shiju and Mary for the hospitality provided and making our stay super pleasant

There is nothing good to write about the hotel except its location. The quality of room needs huge attention by the ***agement. Dirt is easily visible at various corners of the room. It seems as if no one ever pays attention to cleanliness of the rooms. Coming to the room service, it seems no training is provided to the staff! When ordering food for in-room dining, how can your staff bring the Roti or any Indian breads without it being wrapped in aluminum foil or in any container? They serve it without covering it with anything. I have never seen any hotel serve food like this. Coming to the swimming pool timing. The hotel has the worst timing for its swimming pool. One cannot swim after 6pm and before 11am. They expect people to swim when it is scorching hot. People visit resort for leisure, but they do not allow them because of some weird reasons. How do you expect small children to swim when it is so hot? Very disappointed. I raised the complaint to the front desk, but their response was rude and highly disappointing. Talking of the breakfast, it seems they are doing a favor to their clients by providing such kind of menu which has hardly anything to eat.

Good day everyone! It was my first time visiting India, Kerala, Ideal Ayurvedic Resort. To say that I had an unforgettable experience is an understatement. My 2 week stay at the Ayurvedic resort was simply excellent, from arrival at the airport till departure. The staff, service, food, treatment, ayurvedic massage are all top notch. I examined the local Ayurvedic centers and want to mention that there were centers with a higher level of accomodations, but Ideal Ayurvedic Resort corresponds to the price and quality. After two weeks of treatment, my general condition and mood noticeably improved, excess weight was noticeably gone, my skin condition were restored. I left with the intention of returning to this place again... Thank you for helping me to discover India at its best!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Turtle on the beach, the location is excellent, the resort is just a few mins walk away from the kovalam beach, if you have to go places there is ofcourse the hotel cab but there are also tons of cabs and autorickshaws available outside the gate, making your travel hassle free. The best part of the resort is the staff, they are super friendly and very hospitable and accommodating. We wanted to go to Varkala from the resort using public transport and the staff wrote down each and every step in detail from boarding a bus to a train where to get off etc etc, this was super useful as this by far was the fastest way to reach Varkala from Kovalam (even taxi’s will probably take double the time). They also readily accommodated our request for a late checkout, no questions asked! All in all a fantastic stay and special thanks to Rajesh, Srilakshmi, Shiju and Mary for the hospitality provided and making our stay super pleasant

My 2 week stay at the Ayurvedic resort was simply excellent, from arrival at the airport till departure. The staff, service, food, treatment, ayurvedic massage are all top notch. I examined the local Ayurvedic centers and want to mention that there were centers with a higher level of accomodations, but Ideal Ayurvedic Resort corresponds to the price and quality. After two weeks of treatment, my general condition and mood noticeably improved, excess weight was noticeably gone, my skin condition were restored. I left with the intention of returning to this place again... Thank you for helping me to discover India at its best!!! We were given a brand new room no. 507. The Room was done nicely. The Breakfast was part of the package.The breakfast had very little choices. They had parantha, Idly, bread,toast with tea, coffee & juices. In the menu in the seafood section they had all frozen fish Basa only, though it was situated close to the Beach. Prawns were not part of the menu. The lady at the reception had good patient & kept her cool as we were de***ding a sea facing room & they had sold off. They have a good facility for washing legs after coming back from the beach. Parking our car was a small issue as it is situated higher than the ground level. Top few floors need to be connected with elevator in future for the convenience of the guests.
