Kyomachiya where you can see a maple tree that is over 100 years old [Kana Matsubara Miyukicho Momiji House] This Kyomachiya was realized from the owner's desire to preserve the ever-changing cityscape into the present day. There are five townhouses lined up along Matsubara Dori near the center of town, and restaurants and work spaces are dotted around the area. The renovation work was led by the Kyomachiya Restoration Study Group, which works toward the preservation and revitalization of Kyomachiya houses, and was carried out using traditional construction methods, and you can feel the character of a Kyomachiya everywhere. The guest rooms on the first floor retain many of the old-fashioned charms, such as the entrance that leads from the tea room to the courtyard, and the interior design that makes full use of beams and pillars throughout the facility. In addition, the view of the courtyard from the bedroom on the second floor creates a time where you can lose track of time and get lost in thought.
