GGuest UserThe room is a bit packed as the bed is super big. Having said that, the room is nicely designed and decorated. Free mini-bar with daily refill is rarely found in hotels in Europe.
The buffet breakfast is absolutely the highlight. The omelette is crispy outside and molten inside, preserving the freshness and original flavours of all ingredients. Must try!
All hotel staffs are polite and helpful.
In terms of location, whether or not it is convenience, it depends. It is in the middle of Salzburg central station and the old town, going to either location is about 12 minutes walk. Salzburg down town is not big anyway. Everything is in walking distance.

After a long journey, it felt great to be greeted with such friendly, confident service. I instantly felt at ease — love the nature-themed decor too!
The hotel is super convenient: 3-min walk to the train station and lots of nearby food options. Major attractions are walkable.
The room is clean and cozy, with YouTube and Netflix. No phone, kettle, fridge, (I think no utensils too if I rmb correctly) in the room, but reception is always happy to help. The window opens for ventilation.
If you need room cleaning, remember to inform reception a day in advance.

The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and the environment was clean and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was also rich and varied, with every bite a delightful surprise. GGuest UserThe breakfast is good, the location is also very good, close to the train station. The front desk and breakfast are opposite the room. There is also a parking lot. There is no car. I don't know how the parking lot is charged.

CCathyyC.I love this hotel a lot. it’s a small family owned one but very neat and tidy, breakfast tastes so good and the staff are all very nice. it’s around just 5 minutes walk to central train station which makes it so much easier for us after long whole day trips. It definitely worth staying!

The hotel provides a free bus pass, which is great for getting around Salzburg city, Lake Wolfgang, and the transfer station for Hallstatt. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but there are many Chinese restaurants and supermarkets nearby. It's about a 20-minute bus ride to the train station and the city center.

Located right behind the central station, with convenient access to shopping areas.
Small gym; however, the lack of disposable cups was a bit inconvenient.
The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows didn’t provide enough support, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the temperature was just right.

GGuest UserGreat hotel with excellent service and staff. We had the best experience at Hotel Mercure out of the various hotels we stayed. I’ll definitely look out for Mercure in other cities.

GGuest UserThe host was very welcoming. They have good kitchen, the fridge, and laundry room (but i didnt explore that). They don’t have an a/c but thats no problem at all. The location is perfect - near the bus station.

JJesschanscThe hotel is great but a bit far from central. The staffs are very friendly n courteous. They always wish u with a warm smile. One of the receptionist Ms Inna is very very helpful n kind. My hubby left his hp in a Uber n she help us to contact the uber , act as translator for us all the way n got our hp back. I would say their service is excellent n superb. I would definately come back again ..one more thing, the bathroom is very open, not very suitable if staying with kids.
