The location is excellent. You are about 5 minutes walk from the Five Great Avenues, and the subway is just outside the building, although on the other side, and the bus stop is just across the street. The check in is also contactless. All the information you need will be given online(through WeChat for me since I've been using it). Probably the easiest check in you will find in China. The room was very clean. I've heard the view was great but I only got a view of the opposite building, so I guess it depends on your luck. Nevertheless, all the things you need will be there, including a fridge and washing machine. Not to mention a mall is right below you, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. For the cleaning, someone will come around noon and the owner will text you about it beforehand.

I had pre-booked the free 24-hour airport shuttle service. The front desk lady called me half an hour beforehand to confirm my flight details. The driver was waiting promptly at the hotel entrance and even helped me with my luggage. It only took less than 10 minutes to get to the terminal, so there was no need to worry about missing my flight. Check-in was also very efficient. Knowing we had an early morning flight, they specially expedited the process and thoughtfully gave us breakfast takeaway vouchers for the next day, so we could eat at the airport. Although the room wasn't particularly large, the layout was very reasonable, clean, and tidy. The bedding was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good; I couldn't hear any airplane noise at all. I slept soundly until morning, feeling refreshed and energetic for my flight the next day.

Back from Guangzhou, I stayed at the Golden Palace Hotel again for a layover. Maybe it was a weekend and there were more guests, so I couldn't see any room upgrade offers on Ctrip. However, when I mentioned it at the front desk, they upgraded me to a better room on the 17th floor. Thumbs up for your excellent service! My Diamond status was earned by accumulating points from stays at the Golden Palace Hotel! Such a destiny!

We were traveling through Tianjin on our way to Inner Mongolia. Accommodation in Inner Mongolia is incredibly expensive, and the largest beds are 1.8 meters, which was exhausting with children. We booked this grand hotel on Ctrip last-minute, because it had a 2.4-meter king-size bed. We booked two rooms, and my parents and children were very satisfied. The front desk ladies were very friendly and welcoming, giving the children slippers and toothbrushes, and a welcome fruit plate. The security guard, seeing we had a lot of luggage, helped us with a luggage cart. This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during my week-long trip. The space was spacious, the bed was large, the pillows were comfortable, and there was even a bathtub. The value for money was truly exceptional.

We were welcomed with Zongzi and commemorative stamps from Lishunde upon arrival for the Dragon Boat Festival. Our room received a complimentary upgrade to a spacious suite, featuring a large living room and two bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed – perfect for families with children. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots and pans. It's often a hassle to find good family rooms when traveling with kids, so this apartment was truly an excellent choice. The light show along the Hai River outside our window was also a beautiful sight.

The hotel is brand new and very clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the heated towel rail is a thoughtful touch. The night view is absolutely stunning. Downstairs, there's a street full of restaurants with plenty of food and drink options. It's only a few hundred meters walk to Xiaobailou, and not far from Jiefang Bridge and the Five Avenues – you can easily get there by bike.

Came to Tianjin with my kids for an exam and decided to make a trip out of it. This hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was cozy and spotless, the bedding was so comfortable, and all the staff were incredibly nice. The breakfast was also quite unique. Overall, the experience was superb. The location is perfect, situated about 300m from Hepinglu metro station and right next to the famous Binjiang walking street. Lots of food around. And it’s also walking distance to the popular Porcelain House. The hotel staff are nice and helpful. The only problem I had was the room smelled of cigarettes. I endured the first night then later told them to change the bedsheets and clear the air of the room, after that it was okay. Overall, the hotel is at a good location

GGuest UserThis Orange Crystal hotel opened last year. Huazhu Group's City Comfort Inn, Orange Crystal, and Manxin brands have been updating rapidly in recent years. For the same price point, the experience is definitely much better than Marriott, Hilton, or IHG's mid-to-high-end lines. They seem to understand domestic consumers better in terms of service and humanized touches. It's quite good! ^_^

GGuest User👌Had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. Relocated there after a booking mishap caused us to change hotels since the hotel we were staying at in the city became overbooked. We decided to move to this one since it was closer to the airport and we had an early morning flight originating from Binhai (2days after) 👌We had a beautiful room for a family of 3( business room)The room was exceptionally clean and also quite spacious. Facilities are excellent with an on-site laundry room that allows self-service. We didn’t have breakfast since we slept in. 👌Received a very warm welcome from Liu at the front desk, check in was smooth and quick. We had a small issue in the room about noise from upstairs but she resolved it and explained the reason why and apologised for the inconvenience. 👌In the morning, two of us had to return to Beijing for a meeting, the lovely and kind ladies on duty Pang, who spoke English and Wang helped us organise transportation to the airport so we could get the subway train ( there’s a direct subway to Tianjin railway station originating from the airport ) to Beijing. While we waited for the car, they offered us refreshments (tea and water) 👌The driver Wang was so kind and spoke English and helped advise us on the train schedules so we wouldn’t miss the train back since we were returning back from Beijing to Tianjin in the evening to stay the night and leave for our morning flight. 👌They also organised a pick up from the airport when we arrived back to Tianjin late at night to the hotel. 👌The stay was made awesome and comfortable due to the impeccable and excellent service, kindness and eye for detail shown by the staff. 🥳Kudos to Ms Pang, Ms Wang , Mr.Wang and Ms Liu who made our stay even more comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👌The hotel is near the airport and is suitable for travellers who have flights at Tianjin International airport and want to avoid the commute from the city. There are restaurants downstairs as well if you arrive late and need a meal. Nearby surroundings looks like residential area so works for those looking for a quiet stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

AAnonymous UserI visited Tianjin with my family during the May Day holiday and chose to stay at The St. Regis Tianjin. While there were a few minor issues with our overall stay, I must commend the incredibly thoughtful service of our butler, Aiden! Upon arrival, we found our room wasn't ready during check-in. Traveling with family can be hectic, so I was naturally a bit anxious. Thankfully, after contacting Aiden, he promptly came to assist us. He patiently helped us arrange a room change. The communication was seamless, and he handled everything very efficiently, quickly getting us settled and saving us a lot of trouble. However, the new room was a connecting room, and we did notice some minor issues during our stay, like slight noise bleed. This was a small regret during our visit, and I hope the hotel can pay more attention to room assignments in the future. Putting that minor issue aside, Aiden's service was truly impeccable. He was gentle, responsible, and proactively helped us resolve our check-in challenges, always putting the guests first. He ensured our family trip to Tianjin wasn't dampened by the initial hiccup. His professional and warm butler service was a huge plus! Many thanks to Aiden for his dedicated assistance. I also hope the hotel can optimize relevant check-in details and continue to improve!

GGuest UserAwful, terrible and unbelievable! Extremely disappointed with this hotel! Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway. When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in, we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return. First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful. They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room. Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service. No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China. Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts. All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin. PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

When I checked in, I mentioned to her that we were traveling with children and hoped for a comfortable stay. She was incredibly thoughtful and, on the spot, adjusted us to a more suitable room type with plenty of space for the kids to play freely. But that's not all! Vivian was also incredibly considerate, proactively and thoroughly recommending nearby places to visit. She advised us on easier routes, authentic local eateries, and less crowded attractions that wouldn't be a hassle. Her suggestions were practical and spot-on, saving us a lot of trouble planning our outings. From check-in to subsequent service, every detail felt genuinely heartwarming, full of personalized care. From booking to check-out, every staff member I interacted with was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. A special thank you to the customer service team – whenever I called with a request during my stay, items were brought to my room very quickly, without any long waits. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay with excellent service and thoughtful touches in the decor. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to the area and will happily recommend it to my friends.
