"All the staff were very friendly. A few of the people at the front desk spoke English decently and we used translation apps to fill in the gaps. From the hotel, it's an easy walk to get to the Ancient City Wall and to the Muslim Quarter. The lobby staff helped point me in the right direction for both attractions. Every time anyone entered or left the hotel, most of the staff in the lobby said Hello to them. Whenever I sat down in the lobby, someone would automatically bring me a cup of hot tea. When I checked out, they gave me a little gift bag which was nice, considering I was touring China for 7 weeks and they were the only hotel to do so. The location is awesome for the Ancient City Wall, the Bell Tower, the Muslim Quarter, and Datang Everbright City. From the outside of the hotel, I could see the Ancient City Wall lit up at night. I didn't try the hotel breakfast. The only negative is that at night, I could hear some conversations in other rooms. For some reason, entering ”OrangeHao Hotel” on the DiDi app wouldn't find the correct destination so I had some difficulty getting to the hotel on the first night. The price was great. I would stay there again."

"Highly recommended this hotel. The location was great, infront of 钟楼station exit H. Short Walking distance to 钟楼 & theres a mall opposite hotel. Surrounded by food street & push cart food. The room was clean and spacious, comes with a living room and a bathtub. The check in counter staff, 小轩，小何，Sharon,Jason, their service was excellent. My parcel from taobao was sent wrongly to another hotel & 小轩 help me liaise with the delivery guy & resent it to Novotel. They help me with my 美团 app too. This hotel everyday 2-5pm provide free teabreak snacks at the lobby. Every night they will wechat me if i want warm milk & dessert. Upon my check out, i was given a souvenir. I will definitely stay in this hotel again if back in Xi’an."

"This hotel is located on the 7th floor of a department store. We arrived in the middle of the night at nearly 1am and check in was smooth. Room was clean and housekeeping service was great. Good variety for breakfast with both western and chinese options. They allowed me late checkout and luggage keeping service when requested. Complimentary afternoon tea was a warm touch. Best of all was the location, as the metro station was connected to the building. You won't get yourself wet when its raining and you can also visit the dept store downstairs if you need anything. We requested for non smoking room, but the hallway sometimes had strong smoke smell and room beside us were smokers so there was faint scent of smoke sometimes. The hotel staff was apologetic when we mentioned it during check out and they said they would have changed our room if we brought it up earlier. Would definitely return and maybe book a room with a real window next time."
