Nestled just 5 minutes from Wong Chuk Hang Station and moments away from Ocean Park, Aberdeen, and the many attractions of Hong Kong Island, Nina Hotel Island South is a relaxing urban oasis with proximity to all Hong Kong Island attractions. The hotel features 432 newly renovated rooms and suites, ranging from 30 to 81 sqm, each complemented by tranquil city or hill views. Guests can savour authentic flavours at the Southeast Asian buffet restaurant and enjoy versatile facilities including 3 meeting rooms, a communal lounge with bar and cooking facility, a well-equipped gym, and an outdoor pool. Whether for a family getaway, a business trip, or a city escape, Nina Hotel Island South combines convenience, comfort, and lifestyle experiences in one destination.

Our second time staying here. Very spacious and clean, mtr station just a few minutes away. Very good for its price and highly recommended for travellers on a budget who wanna travel to ocean park. Little bit unfortunate that the pool is closed during winter time, but the gym is still open which is cool.

The hotel's proximity allows you to discover the stories of the local community and explore your own unique travel experiences.

Simple and clean. Comfortable, quiet and practical. Location was good for what we wanted and transport easily available. Had a nice view from our room and the staff kindly made sure our kids were across the hall. Only one thing: avoid returning to the hotel between 1930-2030 as it’s when the tour groups check in and the queue for the lifts snakes through the lobby. Other guests are meant to be allowed to use the back lift but we only learnt this upon check out. All in all, perfect for what we needed. Great price for a simple, clean service.

Actually the hotel room, service, breakfast and afternoon tea were all out of my expectations! The 4 beds room for family is quite spacious in HK standard. The bathroom is well equipped and big, even thought the renovation is a bit old. Both hotel breakfast and afternoon tea were nice. We only stayed for one night and we arrived at night, so we had missed the free afternoon tea at the day. They were very considerate and told us that we can take the afternoon tea after check out next day. The location is very convenient and we could store the luggages at the lobby after checking out. Will definitely choose it again in future visit.

This was my first time staying at the OP Marriott and it turned out to be a fantastic family weekend. Even with the Black rainstorm warning, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. I want to give a special shout-out to Simon Ng from the Front Office. He handled my check-in without a hitch and surprised me the next morning by recognizing me at breakfast venue. When we checked out, he personally came over to say goodbye and make sure we had a great stay. I know the hotel is a popular resort and can get busy, but Simon's service really stood out and exceeded my expectations. We also enjoyed the Thai-themed buffet dinner at the Pier Lounge and Pier Bar, and had some nice, relaxing time by the pool. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay and a great spot for a family weekend!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.

YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out. The rain shower was broken in my room. The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it . The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners. The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying. Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.

LlamlllThe hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC. The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel staff were warm and professional. The front desk attendant was particularly helpful; we were a group hoping to stay on the same floor, and he really went out of his way to accommodate us. What truly stands out is finding such a reasonably priced hotel in a place like Hong Kong, where space is at a premium – it's truly a rare find! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hong Kong. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to Tuen Mun MTR Station, which is a terminal station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Light Rail stop nearby, and multiple bus routes just below the MTR station. It's convenient, affordable, and offers great value for money! 👍👍👍

TThe Adventurer number 15My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Pravo Hong Kong, and we had a fantastic experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and just a short walk to the MTR and Victoria Harbour. It made exploring Hong Kong very convenient for us as a couple. Our room was stylish, modern, and very clean. We especially loved the elegant interior design — it felt boutique and intimate, perfect for couples. The bed was extremely comfortable, and after long days of walking around the city, we really appreciated coming back to such a cozy and quiet room. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, our stay was relaxing and memorable. We would definitely recommend Hotel Pravo to couples looking for a comfortable, well-located, and beautifully designed hotel in Hong Kong. We will surely stay here again on our next visit!

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.

BbeibeiloveseaComing to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊 At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food. The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserMy teacher mentioned that the location is indeed valuable, and the in-room facilities aren't as bad as I imagined. However, there's a critical flaw: a complete lack of security. There's no secure entrance, or you could even say there's no real door at all. People can just walk in and out of the building freely. When I returned around 11 PM and left around 6 AM, the entrance was always wide open – not even a pretense of security. What's worse, all the sliding doors leading to the rooms upstairs are also unlocked. A random passerby could literally walk all the way up and stand right outside your room door. If you're a woman traveling alone, absolutely do not stay here. Then there's the dampness, which seems to be an inherent issue with the building's structure. It's not the kind of extreme dampness where water drips, but the moment you walk in, the air feels incredibly stagnant, with poor ventilation. The air conditioner is right above the bed, and since it's still early in the year, the weather isn't too hot yet. I can't imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer. I was assigned the smallest room on the entire floor, and it honestly felt no different from a prison cell. The bed was right up against the balcony door, making it incredibly noisy – much louder than I expected. I consider myself quite tolerant of noise, but here, it was noisy both inside and outside. When a group of college students stayed, I didn't get any sleep all night. Unless you truly have no other option, seriously, don't stay here.
