GGuest UserWe want to highlight the work of the English-speaking assistant Angelia who supported us throughout our entire stay. Since we don’t speak Chinese, her help was absolutely invaluable—from check-in to handling any requests. She was always available, assisting with translation, recommending restaurants, and even helping with minor everyday issues. Thanks to her, our vacation was completely stress-free and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself was also wonderful—clean, with cozy rooms and a great location—but it was the assistant’s attentiveness and professionalism that truly made our stay special. A huge thank you for such a warm welcome! Not too much westerns food at breakfast, mostly local food.

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using Meituan set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

GGuest UserThis time we planned to go to Oriental Salt Lake City to celebrate the Spring Festival. I was very nervous at first because it was the first time for our whole family to go out for the New Year, and I was worried that my family members would be unhappy. However, I was amazed by the service of Yanquan Hanguan. From the very beginning, the thoughtful road guidance from Yanniu housekeeper to the comprehensive scenic area service tips and hotel service introduction from Xiao Wang at the front desk made us feel very comfortable. The hotel is an antique building, which makes us feel the festive atmosphere. There were many activities in the scenic area during the Chinese New Year. When we walked on the road, all the staff and volunteers greeted us enthusiastically and said blessings. When we returned to the hotel after shopping in the evening, we were provided with a bowl of Tremella soup and calming and sleeping incense for free so that we could have a good rest. It was a really great stay and I will come again.

GGuest UserI was so shocked by how big my room was for such a cheap price! The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great. Very clean. The staff don’t speak English but it’s no problem as we could use translation apps. They helped me to order food on the delivery app. The location is quite convenient as it’s near to a metro station. I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserFacilities: Comprehensive, especially the clothes hanger under the air conditioner. Cleanliness: Fairly good. Always bring your own alcohol wipes and other items to clean up after going out. Bedding was immaculate. Service: From the front desk check-in to the floor cleaning, I was very satisfied. Environment: While unassuming on the outside, the interior is absolutely stunning! The elevator card swipe is reassuring. I didn't expect the included breakfast. While not very substantial, the eggs and porridge were generally satisfactory.
