Favourite spot is the gym room, there’s even a rack and heavy lifting is possible ;)) Location is quite convenient, very close to transport and there is a Sushi restaurant right next to the hotel which close until 10 pm, recommend for solo travelling or couple ;).. a really nice place."

"Scandic Kallio is a very convenient location as it is walking distance to the tram and bus lines. It also has a nice park in front of the hotel. "Hotel is lovely and the room is spacious and very clean. It’s very close to Helsinki city centre, about 15 minutes and just across the river. Buffet breakfast is delicious and fresh with plenty of options. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular, the lovely lady in the kitchen is always smiling, warm, cheerful and greets everyone good morning on arrival for breakfast. It really makes a difference to the start of the day. If you don’t have a lot of luggage and arrive by train from the airport, this hotel is a short 15 minutes from from Helsinki Central station. Otherwise there is a train stop underground just a little to the left of the hotel and tram stop right in front of the hotel which is currently under renovations."
