We really enjoyed our stay at Travelodge Suites Busan Centum. It’s a great choice for travelers looking for an affordable, comfortable, and convenient serviced-apartment-style hotel. The room was spacious and practical, and having a washing machine inside the unit was a huge plus — especially for longer stays.
The view was an unexpected highlight — for the price, the view of the bridge and the sea was absolutely amazing. It really added to the overall experience and felt like a great value.
Location-wise, it’s excellent. The subway station is just a few minutes’ walk away, making it easy to get around Busan. There are also several cafés and convenience stores nearby, so grabbing coffee or snacks was always simple.
One of the biggest perks is the massive department store right next door — perfect for shopping and exploring. You’ll find everything from luxury brands to a great basement food court, plus the famous Spa Land, which is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel was great however we had problems with the bathroom. When taking the shower the water would splash around. Taps would leak water when opening. Water pressure of the toilet and taps is slow. There was mold as well. Safety concerns of the step near the bath tub. Housekeeping is good and friendly! Staff were helpful when we needed certain things in the room. Good view. Far from the elevator as requested. Enjoyed staying here.

Apologies for not taking photos, but the location is excellent! There are many pubs nearby, and it's very easy to catch a taxi. Many Chinese and Japanese guests stay here. Be careful when entering, as there's another hotel right next door to the left. Downstairs, you'll find a convenience store, a coffee shop, and a soup restaurant – highly recommended! The facilities are comprehensive!

Decent place to stay. Not too far from the attractions. The hotel is also right next to the subway station, making trips to other locations accessible. The hotel room has a very simple room design, nothing too fancy or not, too underwhelming. If walking to aquarium, it is about 2 miles. Front desk was very helpful and efficient with services.

The hotel owner is very kind. We have water, towels, soap, a toothbrush, a comb, and condoms available. We were surprised, but it's great.
Very clean, we loved it! The only downside for Westerners is that the bed is very hard!!

The hotel has a great location, just a short walk from Centum subway station, making it very convenient to get around. We also enjoyed the view of the river and bridge, which was a nice bonus.
The room felt a bit old and was somewhat cold overnight since the floor was carpeted rather than ondol-heated. The air conditioner was okay but not very strong; even though we set it to 26°C, the room stayed around 24–24.5°C. That said, the space was adequate and comfortable overall, and we liked the desk in the room.
The staff were friendly. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for business travellers and also a solid option for families looking for a reasonably priced stay.

We had an accident while trying to open the door. Although the door unlocked, the security latch inside got stuck, and my finger was badly cut when the door slammed shut. Fortunately, the hotel staff handled the situation professionally and upgraded us to a better room as compensation. The new room was spacious, well-designed, and we had a very comfortable stay.

The hotel's location is fantastic, less than a 5-minute walk to Shinsegae Department Store and the subway station. The front desk staff were also very friendly. The ocean view room offers an incredibly beautiful view, and you can even see the Gwangandaegyo Bridge at night. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd love to stay here again.

This is an excellent value accommodation for a trip to Busan. It was perfectly spacious and comfortable for our family of five. Having an individual drum washing machine in the utility room meant we didn't need to use a separate laundry room. The living room, with its two three-seater sofas and a 6-person dining table, was also very convenient. The hotel's location right in front of the subway station made shopping incredibly convenient. The two gentlemen at the front desk were also extremely friendly. Highly recommend!

When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards.

GGuest UserThis hotel was a wonderful surprise! We were immediately offered two complimentary iced Americanos upon check-in. Our room came stocked with a generous selection of snacks, all free to enjoy. There was even a record player and pour-over coffee equipment, complete with fresh beans. They also left a thoughtful handwritten card and a welcome gift, which included sticky notes, a postcard with a stamp, and a Busan map. What truly added a personal touch was a small booklet on the desk, recording messages left by every guest. Breakfast was delivered to our door at 8:30 AM, and the scones were absolutely delicious! Along with the pour-over coffee, it also included milk, cereal, juice, and eggs. Highly recommend!

From the balcony, we had lovely views of the inner bay and a large sports/fitness complex, which gave the area a lively, local feel. Downstairs, there's a seafood BBQ; the eel and shellfish were on the pricey side, but they were definitely very fresh.

GGuest Userparking is very convenient as the carpark is right beside the hotel. across the road you have many petrol/charging/lpg kiosks also for easy refuel before returning the rental car. the location of the hotel is very near to the central where late night shopping/food are everywhere. right outside the hotel there is a bus stop too. the room is clean with no smell at all, aircon new and working well. front desk is very friendly also. overall a good experience. driving to the airport is not far as well within 30 mins even during late morning hours.

Location is good right at the downtown of haeundae. Cleanliness is ok, water pressure is good.

Check-in & First Impressions:
Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel.
Room:
I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area.
The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value.

It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night.
Staff & Hospitality:
Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected.
Overall Impression:
Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.
