Hotels near Freak Street, Kathmandu

Kantipur Temple House is my choice of accommodation each time I visit Kathmandu. There’s always a relaxing welcome when arriving after the hustle and bustle of the journey from the airport. An oasis amid the chaos, full of nostalgia and ancient charm. The rooftop yoga is an added bonus, highly recommended.

I love this hotel so much, they are so welcoming, sweet and lovely, their neatness level is 100% The food so lovely, I enjoyed their breakfast so much. I’m definitely visit Nepal because of this hotel again ❤️

The hotel is located in the Thamel area, which is very convenient. There are convenience stores, restaurants, Himalayan Java, and souvenir shops nearby. The hotel is new and very clean, and I had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The skyline restaurant is the best at sunset in this hotel. They have a transparent glass floor to watch everything under your feet. Many locals also get dressed up and come here to enjoy the million-dollar-worthy sight. You can also enjoy the buffet breakfast at the same restaurant if staying here. I used the swimming pool and sauna on 9 floor. The staff there are very attentive and friendly. Feel like a queen being there! The room is super clean and smell nice! I am amazed by the A.C. System. Believe me that’s very rare to find in Kathmandu! All is very good from the beginning of check-in and till the end. They have free drop-off transportation to airport. So I would highly recommend to book the last nights in Nepal and enjoy a relaxing evening of here!

Fantastic stay. Close to the tourist district, surrounded by shops, food options, ATM & money exchange. The hotel is an oasis from the busy city with attentive staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, roof top bar, pool & spa. It also offers massages, which is perfect after trekking. Certainly will stay here again

The hotel location is excellent, fantastic breakfast,staff cooperation everywhere was excellent. This hotel is not a four star hotel according to the Nepal hospitality...it clearly shows it's a three star hotel and all the facilities are related to three star or below. The rooms are small,if staying with a couple or with a girlfriend is fine but if it's staying with two individuals it is very difficult moving and keeping the baggage, and other things. The windows are fixed and can't open. I will say again that the staff were fantastic.

Location is amazing in Thamel, super easy to walk around for food and many things Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful And there is a cocktail coupon every day Only breakfast was too late because my schedule to leave at 9 am but it was ready at 8.30 am and two days in a row. Overall it is very nice hotel to stay when you go to Kathmandu
