Hotels near Thonglor, Bangkok

The hotel is modern, clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. It’s a bit far from the BTS station, but the hotel provides a great free shuttle service that makes getting around quite easy.

The facilities are excellent, with an outdoor pool and a gym. We stayed in a two-room suite, and everything was great except for the electricity only working when the door was closed. The environment is beautiful, especially the pool, with the light rail visible across the way. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, which is very convenient for shopping.

The room is comfortable and the price is very good. There's a night market across the street with cheap and varied goods, and a massage shop too. Getting around is very easy, just take the Airport Rail Link to Ramkhamhaeng station and walk across the skywalk to the front of the hotel. Overall, it's a great place to stay.

It’s honestly not that close to the airport. BKK traffic will still end up eating your time to the airport and to the city center. Btw i missed my flight bec the estimated 25 min drive to the airport turned out to be closer to 40 mins. I had to book a new ticket back home 💸 so i decided to stay at a hotel that is legit right by the airport. Book hotels with free airport transfers. That said, i enjoyed my stay here, the room is sufficient, breakfast was great. Loved their moussaka

I really couldn't get used to the layout of this place. The hallway has floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors for every room, with curtains behind them. I kept worrying the door wasn't properly locked and didn't fall asleep until 3 AM one night, feeling really uneasy. This room type just isn't for me. The soundproofing was generally okay, I didn't hear noise from next door. However, it's a high-ceilinged corridor, so if anyone spoke too loudly, you'd hear everything. Putting aside my personal issues with the above, everything else deserves high praise. The hygiene was excellent, visibly clean, and the effective layout made it feel very functional. Beyond the essentials, there's a bathtub, and the room is spacious enough to spread out your belongings comfortably. There's also a pool downstairs, and I saw many people using it. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient. Lotus's supermarket is just across the road and cheaper than convenience stores. The 7-Eleven at the intersection is huge and even has seating; on my last day, I had some delicious takeout from there (the famous Here Thai). It's a one-stop shop for everything you need. Downstairs, there's a Michelin Bib Gourmand noodle place. A street away seems to be a massage street? I found a highly-rated one that was very busy (though personally, I'm not a huge fan of Thai massage). I also bought coconut cake and pad krapow from a small street vendor – so cheap and delicious! BTS is Bangkok's main transportation, and the On Nut station is an easy walk, even closer than Lotus's supermarket. I never experienced any traffic jams, which was very convenient. Getting to Siam Center and ICONSIAM was a breeze.

This hotel has a French-inspired style, and the owner is Thai. While the rooms aren't huge, the decor is artistic and quite refined. There's a swimming pool, and the breakfast spread is quite good; you can enjoy the beauty of nature while sitting in a chair. It's not far from BTS Thong Lo, about a 7-8 minute walk. Overall, it's suitable for those on a modest budget but who appreciate an artistic touch. The staff's English is also good.

I stayed for three nights, and I had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and I felt very safe as a solo traveller in this hotel. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, especially the free unlimited coffee, tea, juice, and snacks in the lobby. It made the stay feel welcoming and convenient. The room itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The gym was well equipped and the free shuttle service was perfect. I had a great stay.

The interior was calm and comfortable, making it a very pleasant place to stay. There are shopping malls and local food restaurants nearby, so I believe the location is very convenient. During my stay, I experienced an issue with the hotel key and was unable to open my room door. Despite it being late at night, the staff responded quickly and handled the situation professionally. I truly appreciate their prompt support. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Thailand next time.

The location in Sukhumvit is very near the heart of the area, but down a very narrow road. Walking the road to get to the main road was a challenge, traffic is heavy and the road very narrow with no way to walk out of the roadway. The staff is friendly, always greeting the guests on entry and exit. The room was large and well cleaned. The facilities are showing their age, multiple items in our room were either broken or in need to repair or adjustment. Some of the desks and tables were just painted over when in fact they needed to be replaced. The carpets are spotted and could use a replacement or a good cleaning. The staff did a good job cleaning the room and providing fresh towels and water. The elevators were very fast, I never waited more than 20 seconds for an elevator. We never ate at the hotel, we did get soda water once...but that is all it took, at the time a six-pack of soda was 58 baht at 7-eleven, the bar at the front charged me 60 baht per bottle. I understand there will be a bit of a markup, but six fold is a bit too steep even for Sukhumvit.

After arriving in Bangkok from Pattaya, I checked into Ibis. It was just a two-stop subway ride from Ekkamai station, where the bus dropped me off. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Em District, with plenty of massage places and restaurants nearby. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel itself was quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. The water quality here was also much better than in Pattaya. I even left a tip in my room and received a pair of elephant-shaped towels, which was a lovely touch! Very satisfied with my stay.
