The staff are very friendly and approachable. I would like to highlight 3 exceptional staff who I unfortunately did not get their names. Firstly, the staff at the reception counter patiently helped resolve my mobile data issues in a jiffy. Secondly, kudos to the friendly housekeeping staff at the 43rd level for his daily diligent service in keeping our rooms clean and tidy. And thirdly, to a Filipino staff at the breakfast buffet, who came looking for me when I alerted him that the chilli sauce was running low at one of the buffet stations.
There is a wide spread to choose from their international buffet and the food is amazingly yummilious. This hotel is easily accessible, with a great overview of Bangkok and a host of amenities within walking distance surrounding it.

It has a splendid restaurant for breakfast on 43th floor with views on Bangkok. That and spaciousness of the rooms are the biggest pluses of this hotel.
Breakfast is not quite tasty but sports a moderate choice.
What makes me lower the amenities rating here is the unacceptable state of the WiFi. Logging in is required every time we connect, and that works very slowly, like 10 minutes to connect, and sometimes does not work at all.

My stay was fine, but nothing spectacular. The hotel is a bit dated, though everything was functional and clean enough.
The best part was the location, which made it easy to explore the area. However, the room felt a little cramped, and the AC was a bit loud at night. It’s a perfectly fine place if you just need a spot to sleep, but don't expect many ”extras.” It gets the job done for a budget stay.

The location is in the heart of Pratunam, so we really enjoyed going around Bangkok. The room wasn't spacious, but we thought it was fine since we went around during the day and returned very late at night. We were expecting a room-cleaning service, but it never happened. If you’re looking for an accommodation at a convenient location, I highly recommend this one.

The beds and rooms were clean, but after closing the doors, the signal and 5G reception were very poor, and the Wi-Fi was weak. We had to open the doors to use the internet. The host was friendly and could speak English. The hot water sometimes didn't work, but overall it was fine. The location is near the train station and Pratunam Market, so booking a car might lead to traffic jams; it's better to go to the main road or take a motorbike.

Everything was great. When we left, we didn’t realise that we had left the car key on the table. The hotel immediately texted me and was very helpful in arranging for the key to be delivered to me at the airport. I have never encountered such service before. Kudos to the team, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The room was exceptionally clean.

Location is quite good, there is a local street market just foot steps away from hotel and you can get really good dishes all within 15 minutes, but it closes around 8 p.m.
You can easily hire a grab bike nearby, to get to the other spots in town.
Many complained that the showering room was too tiny and could barely move but I felt it was fine, I am 5 inch 10 feet and weigh 170 lbs for reference.
The room and the hallways have lots of design that I feel the vibe for hotels in Southern Europe, a good plus.
Pity that there's no indoor gym or pool but a bit of search could find a match nearby.

The hotel room is quite spacious and the bed is very comfortable, we slept very well. The hotel staff are also very friendly!
The only downside is that the air conditioner can be a bit noisy, possibly because it’s rather old.
Another thing to be mentioned is the hotel is located at the end of an alley, with Indian restaurants and hotels on both sides. When walking through the alley, you may occasionally notice some Indian men staring at you, which can feel a bit scary if you’re alone.
Overall, it’s good value for money with a great location, close to various shopping malls.

I got a great room. The room was clean. The mattress was firm – just the way I like it. The pillows were excellent. The linens were snow-white. The bathroom was also clean. The view from the window wasn't great, but that's the lesser of two evils. Overall, I give the hotel a well-deserved 5 stars. Price = quality. The owners are great. My respects. I'll come here again if I ever stay in Bangkok.

Positive: The location in Pratunam Market is fantastic for food and shopping every day. The room was cleaned daily, and coffee was refilled. It had a mini-fridge, hairdryer, hot water kettle, and a TV. The hot water worked perfectly. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Don't be surprised by the narrow alleyway leading to the hotel, which has many Indian businesses.
Negative: The soundproofing in the rooms is poor; you can clearly hear the next-door neighbors, which is very disruptive when trying to sleep at night. It sounds like the walls are made of plywood. Also, my niece got bed bug bites from sleeping on the bed in the corner near the bathroom wall.
Conclusion: Is it comfortable? Yes, it's a very good hotel to stay in. If only the walls were soundproof and there were no bed bugs.

1. **Guest Rooms:** Recently renovated by Tony Chi, the rooms are elegant and comfortable with high-quality linens and excellent soundproofing. Some entry-level room sizes are a bit compact for a city-center hotel. Welcome fruits and well-stocked toiletries are provided.
2. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a good variety (Thai + Western). Erawan Tea Room is a Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the Executive Lounge service is consistently good. Some restaurant prices are on the higher side.

GGuest UserThe hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

Compared to The Nai Harn, it felt grander and more business-oriented, which was evident from the breakfast spread – definitely geared more towards business travelers. We stayed on the executive floor, though it wasn't an executive room itself... which I found a bit odd. The hotel's decor has a retro, old-fashioned vibe, making it feel less like a holiday retreat for me personally. However, these weren't major issues. The staff's service attitude was consistently excellent. The main pool was quite busy, possibly because two youth football teams were staying there, so there were lots of people playing and having fun. It was still a good experience overall.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night.
While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue.
The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

The rooms are pretty big, super clean and really comfortable.
The staff is really amazing, and it what make me feel like I want to back again and again and again in this hotel.
The last time I also spoke with the manager about a mistake I did with my reservation, and she solve my problem in no time.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.

The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person.

В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated almost the end of silom but close to Hindu temple for me to visit and more convenient for me to worship almost everyday when I get bored or when I have Sth in my mind . The breakfast is the same old same old and no matter time fly so is the same but u need to rotating the hot breakfast menu and too minimise a food cost and food waste after service. The room was great ! And thanks for an upgrade with the tup and made me to relax after the humid and hot day or after window shopping. The room is clean and housekeeping are friendly and ask for the service . Staff are friendly for checking in and I feel bad when staff complain and u under the pressure and have to get police involve and I want to step up and help u to rectify a problem but I am off duty as I am on a short vocation so next time and don’t be afraid and stay tough with this people cause they complain too much but always pay less and expect more or not enough ( tell them ) or ask them to go to neighbour hood hotel instead or try to negotiate with them and catering the best u can by not getting affect by room revenue . I hope to see u again in the future maybe in other excutive room with a bath tub and view but u all need to refurbish some room or the best type of room to upgrade or selling to a guest and increase room revenue incremental .
