Hotels Near St. Dunstan's Church in London

Check in was super smooth and very friendly. The room itself was small, but big enough our needs for the week. The staff were nice, but not very aware of surrounding issues. My son got locked in the downstairs toilets and was screaming and screaming and not one member of staff moved an inch until my wife went looking for him, only then did the staff on reception move to see what was wrong, unfortunately that left a nasty taste in my mouth as it showed me a clear lack of care towards not only customers but to children. The rooms were clean and tidy, it did take 5 nights for the bedsheets / duvet covers to be changed, they were made daily but not swapped for fresh ones. Towels were plentiful and swapped daily tough. The daily breakfast was nice with a selection of fresh fruits, cereals and croissants, They also had a selection of hot food such as sausage, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled egg and even vegan sausages if you like them. My only complaint was the scrambled egg were not seasoned at all and required quite a lot of extra seasoning. You could also make fresh toast with a selection of different jams and Nutella. And also get fresh coffee, tea or hot chocolate, although each day one of the 2 machines were broken, it seemed to change each day. They also had fresh orange and apple juice, But the machine seemed to be broken quite alot of the time and they provided it in small dispensers, unfortunately these tasted watered down. Overall the room is nice, decent breakfast, pretty good location and the price not that bad but I expected a bit better.

The highlight of this stay, for me, was the coziness of the bed and the breakfast options. The bed was so soft; it was like I was being hugged after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was good and the attendants in the restaurant were very helpful.

I arrived at the hotel with my daughter for a three-night stay that was organized as a treat by my family. This break was much needed, and I was eager to enjoy our time there. On the first night, I discovered some issues with our room. I contacted the reception staff member, Ria, who handled the situation without hesitation. She promptly apologized and immediately arranged for us to change rooms. The following day, I spoke with the general manager, Florin, who was exceptional. He assured me that the issues would be addressed and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. Additionally, we were offered a room upgrade, complimentary drinks, a late check-out, and a partial refund. I could not have asked for more; his professionalism and approach were truly commendable, significantly enhancing our overall stay—an experience I have never encountered in a hotel before. The staff members, Dhioovana and Olivia, were also fantastic. They were warm, welcoming, and consistently professional. No question was too much trouble for them, and they provided a wealth of information to help us navigate London. In my experience, the level of service from all the staff would not be out of place in a five-star hotel, which speaks volumes about their dedication. I stayed at Leman Locke for 4 days and had a great experience. The room was spacious and included a small living room, which made it feel like a home away from home. The washing machine was a fantastic addition, and the kitchen facilities, including an induction stove and oven, allowed me to cook whenever I wanted. The customer service was excellent—they even provided a complimentary bottle of red wine and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch due to my honeymoon. There’s a café on the ground floor and a gym in the basement, making it convenient to grab coffee or work out. They also offer free yoga sessions on Sundays, but you need to register in advance. The location is another highlight. A Tesco Express is nearby, and if you’re a fan of Korean food and bubble tea, there are authentic options just down the road. Aldgate East tube station is only a 5 to 8-minute walk to the hotel. It may not be near central London but it is quiet and also near a tube station. Overall, Leman Locke is a great choice for comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

Hotel was great. From the moment you walk in it is clean comfortable and has a beautiful smell throughout. The rooms are spacious and the black out blinds cut out every bit of light for a perfect sleep. The staff are friendly and helpful especially so at the restaurant / bar. They have great deals (5 x peroni for £20) and the food for dinner is very nice. Breakfast was also varied and tasty. The gym is small but has everything for a good workout. Best thing about the hotel in my opinion was the spa / pool. Very relaxing to be able to lounge by the pool after using the sauna (which was a great temperature) and you are provided a robe and slippers to make it even more comfortable. The white company shower gels / shampoo and moisturiser are all very nice. Only negative is I think they have been watered down a bit. Overall great!

This hotel is amazingly well located in Canary Wharf. The hotel was well maintained, clean and had lovely decorations for Christmas. The staff were helpful and effective. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was a good size. No complaints. Can't believe it was less than £100 just before Christmas in central London!! Great value. The view of the canal and Canary Wharf was fantastic.

I'd not personally booked an accessible hotel room before but with this I didn't feel judged or anything for my invisible disabilities when checking in. It was amazing being able to sit on a chair with the rain shower right above my head. The shower was a large walk in one. The room was a short walk from the lifts, a lot of others I have to walk a bit of a distance to my room so this was another plus. Clean, comfy room with all that was needed for our short stay including a mini fridge with water waiting for us when we arrived.. My friend and I really enjoyed the pool and saunarium where we used a jet stream to make the swim more of a challenge. It's something I'd love to use a lot since my arthritis makes working out difficult. The saunarium wasn't as dry as saunas I've been to so I could stay in longer, I could've even fallen asleep in there 😆 All staff we encountered were very friendly. Great location close to nice restaurants and the o2.

read some bad experiences from the comment. But my first impression was not bad. We are earlier, about 10:00 am, and the room is not ready. We can store our luggage in the reception, really helpful. Our room was upgraded, the room was nice, we have a sitting room and an open kitchen. We enjoy sitting next to the window and enjoying our breakfast there. Overall, the people in the hotel were helpful, the room was beautiful, the location was not bad, and the hotel restaurant was not bad too!

Excellent location next to Towerhill underground station. A short walk to the Tower of London and surrounding attractions. The buffet breakdast is really good in terms of choices and quality of food. The gym is well-equipped, and the indoor swimming is big. It's a pity we didn't have time to enjoy those facilities. We like the room's windows that can be opened. We let in fresh cold air at night and were able to sleep really well.

We got upgraded which was really nice. The location is really convenient, right outside Tower hill underground. The service and housekeeping was really great as well. We got a welcome cake. However, the AC in the room did not work properly so the room is not warm at all. Luckily the temperature was not that low during our stays. The bed was too hard which was not comfortable.
