Hotels near Ripley＇s Believe It or Not! in Orlando

Very satisfied with this hotel, the room is large, the location is good, go out is the Orlando Eye Ferris wheel, there is a large indoor swimming pool in the hotel, can be used before 4 pm, after 4 o'clock is someone else training base! Very recommend this hotel!

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that aren’t accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they weren’t available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, don’t stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they were…sold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and there’s a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? Nice room front desk was very helpful. Location of Hotel is outstanding within walking distance to where I needed to go. Great experience will be traveling a lot in the future and I will be staying at Quality Inn when available.

I stayed here during the HIMMSS conference. Although it was a ways from the convention center it is easily walkable. The hotel is your average Embassy Suites, a large open center area with a nice bar and a great free breakfast. Checkin was easy and the front desk people were very friendly had helpful. Rome was your basic Embassy Suites with a nice sitting area with a separate bedroom area. I could probably use some updates but most could. Overall very clean, comfortable bed and lots of hot water. I think what makes the hotel is the people from the front desk to the bartenders and breakfast staff everyone was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area either for work or pleasure.

Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

The price/performance ratio is very high. It's not far from the exhibition center by taxi. The neighborhood around the hotel is okay. The rooms are comfortable and hygienic. The facilities are a bit old, but not bad. I'll consider staying next time

Excellent if you are on a budget better than Rosin Inn which is brits tend to go the room worked out at £45 per night for a family of four plus you get free buffet breakfast food nice hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks fruit and yogurts scrambled eggs bacon everything is their no parking fee we didn’t pay a resort fee either staff lovlely twice my son put an egg in the microwave and it exploded they never complained room spotless free shuttles to both Disney and universal

The family and I planned to visit Universal Studios/Islands of Adventures for the long President's weekend (February 19-21, 2022). Prior to our trip, we researched and booked the Castle Hotel due to its reviews and close location to the parks. The bonus part was all the restaurants within walking distance. I had the pleasure of speaking with the Director of Front Office, Mr. Carlos Rosario prior to our arrival. I first want to start off by saying that the customer service is top notch at the hotel. It starts with Carlos being very helpful with my reservation and needs. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, and it sure was! The President's weekend was packed with visitors due to the long weekend and several sport activities going on in the area. Once we arrived in Orlando, we went straight to the parks, I connected with Carlos to advise him we would be a late check-in, he assured us no problem. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm, i walked up to the front desk and was assisted by a wonderful agent who was very welcoming. I provided my name and right next to her was Mr. Carlos Rosario who welcomed me as well with a great smile!! Although he was very busy due to the traffic within the lobby, he took the time to welcome me and my family and assisted me with my room keys and explanation of the hotel. This type of service goes a long way. He mentioned he would be at the front desk all weekend and If I needed anything to just let him know. We went up to our room, opened the door and it was perfect! Clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and so was the pullout sofa. The following day we took off to the parks again, (great location to the parks as I mentioned). We arrived back to the hotel around 6pm and I had the pleasure of meeting the front desk agent, Ariel. She was so friendly and helpful with a few requests I needed. Even the morning that we were checking out, I stopped by the restaurant to get Starbucks and the staff there were friendly and always smiling. You truly sense the above and beyond feel at this hotel. I plan on returning and recommending this hotel to friends and families. What a great experience staying at this hotel. Kudos to Carlos and his Rockstar Team!
