Villa Abbondanzi Resort
4.6/544 Reviews
My wife and I were attending a wedding in the Villa Abbondanzi and decided to stay for another seven days. The receptionist was extremely helpful, and warned us that the hotel was fairly remote. We wanted a quiet break so that was OK. The hotel was busy on the night of the wedding and we could only get an upstairs room - nice room, but we are both disabled and the stairs were a challenge. They moved us into a ground floor suite the next day - clean and comfortable. Our only quibble is that it could have done with a table in the balcony/living room. We had planned to swim and relax but unfortunately the outdoor pools were closed. We had a nice swim in the Sensory pool (outdoor but heated) but this then also closed. So we made use of the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. A weird side effect was that the pool bars also closed and the main hotel had no bar - a hotel with no bar is a very odd concept. It didn't worry us but I can see it being a problem for some. But what a lovely place. There is a forest of magnificent, mature trees, a flamingo pool, a vegetable garden and storks nesting on the lampposts. Everything is clean and well kept. The Five Spoons (I forget the Italian name) is a very good fish restaurant, and the Pink Flamingo is very high class with a wonderful tasting menu - not cheap, but a bucket-list experience. Things may be different in the summer, but this hotel is perfect for a quiet break off season. The taxi service to the nearest town (Faenza) is inadequate but that's not the fault of the hotel. A final warning though - the lovely environment attracts flying insects as well as guests. Bring plenty mosquito repellant.
Tatì Hotel

I was a guest of the Tati Hotel from 16/1 to 27/1. Not just a holiday, because I was supporting my husband, patient of the neighborhood Maria Cecilia Hospital. All staff (in particular Mrs Bruna) have always been super available and give me the maximum support. My room was large, and the cleaning ladies were also super gentle, allowing me to work in smart work and re-establish my room only during my short exits to visit my husband. The period was hard and difficult, but the Tati Hotel made it easier given the great empathy shown. Thanks to all of you!
Hotel Ristorante Ala d'Oro

The room was four-fold, but it seemed double with adding another double bed (it could not even move or open the furniture as close as it was), When we arrived the water was brown, and it took a lot to warm up; the buffet breakfast was quite complete, but the coffee was only burned. The cleaning is not the best, hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair hair I suppose they were ”excuse” for the scarfing, or at least I hope that's why.
Antico Convento San Francesco
4.4/519 Reviews
The building is monumental, the staff is exceptionally attentive and helpful. There is a wide range of possibilities for activities in the hall, a heaven for children with a Vespa and a piano included. Our room was simple, nice and clean, suitable for a family with many children. The breakfast was rich and delicious. There is a patio surranded by the building. Our children had so much fun running around there. The whole atmosphere is so friendly and peaceful. I wish we could have extended our staying.
B&B Hotel Faenza
4.1/566 Reviews
The hotel is very comfortable for people who need to find a hotel near the entrance of the motorway for work or need. I haven't enjoyed breakfast so I can't give any judgement. Very clean, quiet rooms (not feeling the traffic of the cars) and quite spacious. I recommend to put at least one more coat in the room. Experience to be made again. I will certainly take back here in my next stay in Faenza
Hotel Vittoria
4.1/529 Reviews
Hotel options are somewhat limited in Faenza… Hotel Vittoria is certainly appealing with its eccentric decor! The welcome was friendly, reception area is nicely decorated.. however the bedroom (104) was not overly clean with hairs in the bathroom and paintwork marked everywhere.. the bed linen is poor quality and the room was very very cold also with the air con on highest warm setting not resolving the temperature! The bathroom amenities are lacking (shower/shampoo mix was the only item provided), hairdryer is old (not powerful enough) and should be upgraded. The shower drain is also blocked… no in room kettle (available at reception). No iron/ironing board available which was a big issue for me! Walking through the hotel there is a real chill in the air so bring you coat when going for breakfast as most guests do. Waitress at breakfast was not friendly, provided no service, did not even get a coffee… chewing gum not very professional. She rushed around to clear tables before guests had fully finished. The breakfast buffet is basic - continental spread.. a fresh fruit salad would be nice as fruit not fresh. Lots of room for improvement!
