Skyview Hotel Tenerife

Lovely clean hotel. Staff were friendly. Small bar area in the hotel to get drinks and snacks. Pool on roof was very cold and small. There is a supermarket a few minutes walk and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants with 2-15 minutes walk. The beach is also only around 5-10minutes walk Puerto de la Cruz is a beautiful place itself but is very quiet and we struggled to find bars with music and entertainment. Overall lovely hotel and great staff but would not go back as there isn't much going on for me

Based in a fantastic location. Short walk to beach, bus station, restaurants and supermarket and slightly longer walk to port, town and Loro Park (zoo). Our room was one of the older ones on 6th floor, so we had a fantastic view but it could have done with a makeover. The hob by the side of the sink took up so much space you had very little room to put cups, plates etc after washing them. The microwave was placed in the living area where the tv used to be as the kitchen is too small for it to go anywhere else and the tv was stuck between the living and bedroom areas, so you couldn't really watch it. Luckily we didn't want to. We found out towards the end of our stay that some rooms had been modernised and ours was one of the old ones. Whilst it was tired, the view from the balcony was good and worth sitting out on morning and evenings. Staff were great. Soriah on reception was a mine of information and really helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment on that. Pool area was fine. Good for sunbathing and rooftop views. Small but clean pool. The lobby, downstairs bar and restaurant have all been recently renovated. They are really good - totally unlike the old pictures that are showing on here. I feel we got what we paid for, but to be honest, we could have benefited from some information. There was nothing anywhere saying when the cleaner came in and when towels would be changed and no information on wifi code. Of course, go to reception and they will tell you/give you towels if needed, but it would have been good to have that information in the room. For the price I would definitely recommend it, but do check in advance which room you are booked into.

Booked a newly renovated room. Arrived and was told I had to pay €35 cash if I didn’t want one of the old style rooms. Asked for fresh towels on 3rd day, was told there are none in the whole hotel and have to wait until the next day to get any. Booked with Breakfast, but not on the list and have to have issues every morning. Staff unhelpful and unpleasant and difficult to find at any time. Whole hotel feels like a scam. Definitely not coming again and would not recommend to anyone.

This is a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our time there. All the staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and well equipped with everything we needed, the beds and pillows were really comfortable. There was a very good choice of food and I always looked forward to my meals, we stayed half board. We didn’t get time to try out the swimming pool on the rooftop but the views from there were magnificent. We were completely overwhelmed when the hotel gave a bottle of wine to my husband for his 85th birthday, but unfortunately we weren’t able to drink it because of our medication and we couldn’t take it on the aeroplane, but it was such a lovely gesture. The location was ideal as it is in the town with plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The sandy beach is about 15 minutes walk and the small harbour and waterfront is within walking distance. The bus station is about 2 minutes from the hotel with a very good service for travelling to other parts of the island. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was simply perfect for my needs. Very cosy and quiet place with relaxed, friendly and polite staff, comfortable rooms and sooo nice beds and pillows! I could get proper rest every night. The food is also delicious! Skyview hotel really contributed to my stay in Puerto de la Cruz being the vacation of my life and I will definitely visit again!

Excellent hotel, clean, new, good stuff, good food, excellent location, close to the beach, close to the supermarket, the rooms are studios, equipped with kitchen. Loro park is near, historical center also.

Very nice hotel with a very good location. The staff was very friendly and the room was modern and spacy. Hope that I can go back some day. Breakfast was delicious and there where a lot of food to choose from. Nothing to complain about. The pool in the roof was great and there were space everytime I go there.
