"I had a night layover and wanted to stay closer to the airport, and the hotel has a good location. Everything was as described, I enjoyed my stay there, loved lounge and swimming pool area. Would book it again."

"The most iconic feature of the Riu Hotel is undoubtedly its 27th-floor 360° sunset view bar🌇. Hotel guests get complimentary access with their room key card, while non-guests need to purchase a ticket. It's 5 euros before 5 PM and 10 euros after 5 PM. You buy tickets at the back of the hotel; just walk around from the main entrance, take the elevator to the 26th floor, then walk up the stairs to the 27th floor, where you'll find the observation deck and bar. The hotel is massive with a large number of rooms, and there's a constant flow of people. To use the elevator, you have to swipe your room card and select your floor. The system automatically assigns an elevator, and you then find the corresponding cabin based on the letter displayed – it feels a bit like working in a large office building. During breakfast rush hour, the crowd is huge, and the dining atmosphere is more like a company cafeteria. Overall, the experience is just average."

"We went on March 27th. There was a very professional and friendly girl at reception in the morning; I don't remember her name. She was a 10/10. The rooms were very clean. We left on the 30th. Fantastic! I recommend it and we'll be back."

"The industrial-style decor was as basic as it gets, which was fine since I only needed to sleep for five hours before catching my flight. There was no view from the window, it was completely blocked. It's a convenient ten-minute drive to the airport, and there's also a shuttle bus available."

"The room was really spacious, and the front desk service was absolutely amazing! Even though my English isn't great, the white guy at the front desk was so handsome and patient! This is a really friendly hotel for Chinese guests! He kept emphasizing how good the breakfast was, and he was right! The breakfast here was the best we had in Madrid! No need to queue for churros – they have them right here at the hotel!!! Super delicious! The hotel is also close to all the attractions and feels very safe. Everyone is so welcoming!"

"The location is far from the city center but very close to the shopping street. The antique hotel is not big but the housekeeper can always be very welcoming. In Europe, there is usually no service, so this is rare. The disadvantage is that it is not soundproof and there is no swimming pool."

"This hotel is quite good. It's about 2-3 subway stops away from the main attractions. There's a large supermarket just down the street, and a smaller Chinese-owned grocery store near the subway station. The room itself is spacious and well-equipped. The only downside is the lack of dining options nearby, so it's best to have breakfast at the hotel, which is actually pretty good."

"This hotel's unique feature is that each floor is designed by a different artist, resulting in distinct and sometimes extreme styles. I deliberately booked two different rooms, staying 2 nights in each for a total of 4 nights, so I could experience them. The young lady at the front desk who checked me in at dawn was incredibly friendly and professional. She even encouraged me to visit the lobbies on different floors to experience their unique styles and noted my preferred floor for the room change. The issue arose the night before I was due to switch rooms. I spoke to the same front desk agent, asking if I could change rooms after 2 PM the next day, due to jet lag and needing time to pack my belongings. She generously agreed, stating it was fine since I was extending my stay rather than checking out, and my next booking was a suite. However, at exactly 10 AM on the day of the room change, someone repeatedly knocked on my door. Still asleep, I went to ask what was going on. It was a cleaner who apologized, saying they thought the room was already vacated. I explained I was changing rooms in the afternoon, and she left. Immediately after, I noticed the TV screen indicated 'no guest checked in,' and I couldn't watch any channels. The front desk called right away. It was a middle-aged woman who sounded very experienced, and she spoke with a stern tone: 'Your suite is ready, on the floor you requested. I'm sending someone with the key now; please move immediately. There's a guest waiting for your current room.' I told her I had confirmed with them last night that I would move in the afternoon, and I wasn't even out of bed yet. She immediately replied, 'No, that's not possible. We can't wait. I can send someone to help you pack and move.' Her attitude was awful. What's more, she didn't sound like a regular front desk agent; she seemed to be a manager. This kind of service is nowhere near five-star standard."
