My wife and I selected this hotel for our last night in Osaka due to its location in proximity to the airport as well as its 4-star status.
However, this was far from a 4-star experience. I’m not even sure I can say this met the expectation set for a 3 star hotel.
The lobby looked promising, however, the room itself looked tired and worn, and it had a scent reminiscent of a hospital or nursing home. Our room had a giant diagonal pillar (pictured) that took up a lot of the room’s real estate.
The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. My wife has long, light hair. I have short brown hair. The bed was full of long, black hairs
The cloth shower curtain in the bathroom was stained at the water line, and while the inclusion of a toothbrush, exfoliating cloth, shaving kit, and cotton buds were useful, they were not of particularly decent quality, and the hand soap was very drying. To be honest, I did not feel clean after my shower given the shower curtain..
The advertised shuttle bus had its last departure to Terminal 2 at 5:55 am. We ended up taking the train one stop to the airport.
If you have the option, I would consider elsewhere.
