The service was exceptional—the staff were kind, attentive, and always willing to help.
The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. I loved the open-concept shower and toilet design, which added a luxurious touch. The interior decor was unique and stylish, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere.
The hotel’s facilities were impressive, especially the large indoor swimming pool—perfect for relaxation. The overall amenities were top-notch, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The location is a bit far from the nearest station, so we had to take around 10 mins taxis when going out. However, once you reach the station, it only takes about 30 minutes to get to central Shanghai, which was convenient for sightseeing.
Despite the slight distance, the hotel’s excellent service, beautiful design, and fantastic facilities made it worth it. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!

Hotel near Hongqiao International Airport Area,Shanghai

Review of Stay at Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 Hotel
Location and Accessibility: The hotel is conveniently located within Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Terminal 1 (not Pudong Airport, Shanghai’s largest airport). A shuttle service operates only on a fixed schedule, providing easy access to Terminal 2.
Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of international options. However, I wish there were more clearly marked halal options (non-pork, non-halal meat) to better accommodate dietary preferences.
Service and Amenities: The staff were friendly and professional. AC was not working well and it was too hot in the night. We had to call them and provided a cooler which was not so effective as well. There were issues with the air conditioning and shower as well.
Recommendation: This hotel is ideal for those attending exhibitions at the National Exhibition and Convention Center Shanghai. For cost savings, consider booking without breakfast and paying for it separately at the hotel, as this option appears more economical.
Overall: A pleasant stay with great convenience for Hongqiao Airport travelers, though improvements in halal food labeling and minor facility maintenance would enhance the experience.
Overall impression: As a newly opened Hilton brand hotel, the first impression of Shanghai Hilton is ”new” and ”bright”. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the modern design, fresh smell and bright facilities all highlight its new identity. The overall experience exceeded expectations, and the details were carefully considered. Although there is still room for improvement in the service of a new hotel, the flaws do not outweigh the merits, and it was a pleasant stay.
Geographic location & transportation: The hotel is actually a bit off-center. Although it is not absolutely in the core of the city center, the surrounding roads are wide, and it is very smooth to take a taxi or drive. The surrounding environment is relatively new and green. There are few large-scale commercial facilities for the time being, but the hotel's own facilities are sufficient to meet basic needs, and it is quiet.
Design & environment: This is one of the biggest highlights of the hotel! The pictures I took fully demonstrate its modern and modern design style. The lobby is high and open, using a lot of stone, metal and lighting elements to create a delicate and artistic atmosphere. The design of the public area also maintains a consistent high standard, with elegant colors and sophisticated lighting, which is very photogenic. The spotless and design sense that is unique to new hotels runs through the whole process.
Room experience:
Space and layout: Room 1015 is of moderate size, reasonable layout, and efficient space utilization. Although there is no scenery, it is enough for business trips.
Facilities and comfort: All facilities are brand new! The bedding is extremely comfortable, with a good balance of support and softness, and a good night's sleep. The bathroom space is separated into dry and wet areas, with a modern design, and the shower water pressure is strong and stable. But the water pressure of the bathtub is a bit weak. The smart toilet is a plus. The soundproofing effect of the room is good, ensuring a quiet rest environment.
Details and technology: Equipped with an intelligent control system (lighting, curtains, etc.), it is easy to operate. Minibar, safe, ironing equipment are all available. There are plenty of USB charging ports to meet modern needs. Some details that I particularly noticed, such as the unique lighting design and textured decorations (if there are in the pictures, you can mention it, for example: ”The unique reading lamp at the head of the bed is both practical and adds a sense of design”), all reflect the design's care. The hotel uses Dyson hair dryers, which improves the quality, but the instant coffee used is a bit cheap, which I hope can be improved.
Dining experience:
Breakfast: Breakfast is on the first floor. The variety is good among new hotels, with a balanced selection of Chinese and Western styles. There are local snacks (such as xiaolongbao, shrimp dumplings, fried dough sticks, spring rolls) and Western baked cakes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is online. I especially like the freshly cooked noodles and eggs. The restaurant environment is bright and comfortable, and the service response is timely.
Service: As a new hotel, the staff are generally warm and friendly, and you can feel their willingness to work hard to provide quality services. The front desk is efficient, and the room response speed is fast. The room still has a slight smell, and the delivery of the air purifier is still very timely.

Location wise, although it's a bit far from Shanghai city centre but it's just right next to Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park which includes an underwater museum. It's a great attraction and worth visiting!
Ambience wise, it's full of wow factors and worth staying.
Service is good and very attentive.
Room is very clean and spacious with a big round tub.
The Hilton Fengxiang Shanghai emerges as a breathtaking oasis, gracefully nestled within a picturesque countryside adorned with lakes and bridges, crafting a nearly magical ambiance. The hotel's architecture is inviting, boasting a sparkling cleanliness that extends from its wide entrance to the expansive and supremely comfortable rooms. However, it primarily caters to a Chinese clientele, evidenced by the significant language barrier as almost none of the staff speak English. This aspect may challenge guests hoping to explore the surroundings, given the hotel's seclusion and the necessity to commute by taxi to the nearest town or further to central Shanghai, the train station, and the airport.
The dining experience, while offering a rich and fresh breakfast tailored more towards local tastes, reveals operational surprises during dinner times at its three restaurants, where the staff often seem unprepared for guests, resulting in lengthy waits for meals. Despite these hiccups, the food quality remains high throughout the stay.
The hotel's serene environment, often quiet during the week, provides an ideal setting for relaxation, mindfulness, and sensory enjoyment. Yet, the atmosphere shifts dramatically during events like weekend seminars when the hotel fills to capacity.
For visitors engaged with the nearby industrial zone, the Hilton Fengxiang Shanghai offers an excellent retreat for evening relaxation and morning meetings. Nevertheless, Western tourists seeking a vacation spot may find the hotel less accommodating unless they speak Chinese or have a specific reason for their stay, prompting them to reconsider their choice.
The service was excellent, and I especially want to compliment one of your staff members, Eric. He went above and beyond to help us during our stay, delivering our online orders to our room multiple times with such kindness and efficiency. His thoughtful service really made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
