CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

GGuest UserThe Orange Crystal Hotel near Shanghai's Bund/Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street truly exceeded my expectations! 📍 The location is unbeatable: about a 5-minute walk to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, 10 minutes to the Bund, and just a few minutes from Metro Lines 2 and 10, making it super convenient to get to the Oriental Pearl Tower and Lujiazui. 🛏️ Rooms: Newly renovated with a simple yet sophisticated design. They feature smart home controls, a wet/dry separated bathroom, stable water pressure with fast-heating water, and a perfectly firm mattress. The soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a very quiet night's sleep. ✨ Service: The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient during check-in, even thoughtfully offering hot water. They were quick to respond to requests, paying attention to every detail. 🍳 Breakfast: A wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. Freshly baked bread, hot dishes, fruit, and coffee were all excellent – I left feeling very satisfied. Overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for both business trips and tourism. I've saved it to my favorites and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!

The front desk service staff is of high quality, warm and polite, can patiently explain and answer any questions, efficient, meticulous and intimate service. The location is particularly convenient, all kinds of food downstairs are covered, eating is super convenient, going out by taxi is easy and convenient, travel and play is very convenient. The rooms are well equipped with all the facilities needed for daily living, and the facilities are in good condition and brand-new. The breakfast menu is very rich, the variety is rich, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is authentic, and you can eat your favorite food every day.

I just didn't like the room I was put on, because it smelled a bit like cigarettes and I had asked for a smoke free room, because I'm allergic.
And also, I had asked for quiet rooms and higher floor. I was placed on ground floor in the first room of the corridor, where everyone has to pass by.
Other than that, it was great, the staff is very helpful

The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully designed, with a modern yet luxurious feel. The highlight was definitely the stunning skyline view—especially at night, the city lights created a breathtaking atmosphere right from the comfort of our room. It was a perfect setting to relax and unwind.
The beds were extremely comfortable, with high-quality linens that ensured a restful sleep. The room was impeccably clean, and every detail reflected the hotel’s high standards. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a well-designed layout, a strong shower, and a generous bathtub, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
The service was exceptional, as expected from a Ritz-Carlton property. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
The location in Pudong is very convenient, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and key attractions. It is an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers.
Overall, this hotel offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and service. It was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return in the future.

房间宽敞且设计优雅，整体风格现代又不失奢华感。最大的亮点是房间的城市天际线景观，尤其是夜晚灯光亮起时，景色非常震撼，在房间内就能感受到上海的繁华与魅力，让人非常放松。床铺非常舒适，床品质量上乘，睡眠体验很好。房间卫生状况无可挑剔，每一个细节都体现出酒店的高标准。浴室同样令人满意，空间布局合理，淋浴水压充足，还有浴缸可以放松身心。

GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a minimalist Japanese style, with a clean and atmospheric environment. The staff are very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. They offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport on the hour, which is super convenient for catching flights – a big plus!
However, staying for four consecutive days, the breakfast selection was incredibly monotonous and never changed. It got really boring after a while. The late-night snack options were also very limited, with only noodles and congee available – far too few choices.
Furthermore, during my stay, I noticed that the indoor air felt stuffy and poorly ventilated, always with a stale odor. My room was close to the road, so opening the window meant car noise, but closing it made the room stuffy and smelly, which significantly reduced my comfort.
On a positive note, they thoughtfully gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the service and airport shuttle were good, but the stay would be much better if they could improve the breakfast variety, add more late-night snack options, enhance room ventilation and soundproofing, and eliminate the stale indoor smell.

JjaspenI've wanted to stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund for a long time, and finally got to during my recent trip to Shanghai. It wasn't as perfect as I'd imagined.
First, the good points: The environment is nice, and the cleanliness is decent. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. The outdoor bar was the best experience.
Now, for the less satisfying aspects:
1. Previously, when staying at hotels, you could contact scalpers or certain individuals on platforms to use their membership tiers for room upgrades. Since I booked in advance, I contacted them early about a possible upgrade. I was told that if there was an available room type on the day, I could be upgraded. However, on the day of check-in, they claimed there were no rooms available and didn't upgrade me. At the time, I checked the Ctrip app and saw that rooms *were* available. I'm a platinum member with upgrade benefits, and I still didn't get one.
2. My Ctrip booking included two complimentary drinks, but the front desk didn't provide vouchers during check-in. I only found out at the bar that I needed to go back to the front desk to get them.
3. I had a lot of things and wanted to use the black bag in the closet. Unfortunately, it was broken, and the hotel hadn't replaced it in time.

MManpreet LuthraIt’s an amazing hotel. The service of front desk is very very supportive and helping. They help you for anything and make sure that customers are best served.
I would especially thank front desk attendant Ms Zhang Yixiao, she helped me a lot get all my packages from online shopping. I got more than 30 packages and she made sure I had no problem finding it at all.
She also helped me in extending the check out time little bit.
I really appreciate her and all teams efforts.
Room was also found clean although I had created a lot of mess.
Hotel is new in construction so it gives pleasant stay.
The location is one of the best in city.
Shanghai railway station and metro station is 5 minutes walking .
The Bund , Nanjing pedestrian street is within range of 10-15 minutes.
You get a can in few minutes of searching and food places near hotel are open till 1-2 am.
Best for solo travellers and business travellers. High speed trains can be taken from Shanghai railway station.
Also saw alot of families staying in same hotel. They gave special play area for kids too.
I thank all of staff and especially Zhang Vixiao for making this stay so great.
When ever I visit next , I will stay here only.
