Our recent family stay at this hotel was wonderful! We needed two rooms to accommodate everyone, and the price was so reasonable—it made the stay totally worth it.
Both rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which was a huge plus after long days of activities. The beds were cozy, and we all slept well.
But the best part was definitely the price—getting two rooms at such an affordable rate made our trip budget-friendly without sacrificing comfort. If you're looking for a great deal on a family-friendly hotel, we highly recommend this one!

The decoration of room 8337 poses a safety hazard. The staircase is built too close to the wall, and the end suddenly narrows. Only a thin person can barely pass through. The corner of the wall is protruding, and I hit my head three times in one day. The stairs are too steep. The suites I stayed in last year were not like this. Later, I had to find a way to write ⚠️ and stick it on the wall to remind myself. It is very dangerous. I will not live here again.
It is recommended that this room should not be sold to the public unless improvements are made.
The girl at the front desk was not very friendly when checking in. I just chose not to register as a member. There is no need to be impatient.

I've stayed at this outstanding hotel on my first visit and I come back again to spend more time because it's such a great experience to be at the Metropark Jichen Hotel Shanghai. I was welcomed by a great staff Iris who upgraded my room and took every chance to make my stay very enjoyable and comfortable. This amazing hotel is located in the heart of Shanghai convinatly close to everything you are looking for. The rooms are so clean and tidy. very amazing staff. The breakfast is outstanding and you can find so many delicious recipes and dishes. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers and will definitely come back again.

Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor Hotel is very high standard living hotel for travelling and business trip. The room is such big which is around 50 sqm. The bathroom was clean and bright, the toilet separated from shower room. It has got 50” Television in the room. Our room was located level 16, it was quiet and brighter. Also it is very convenience because the huge Global harbor shopping centre is just downstairs. Lot of shops and restaurant you could access from hotel Level 1 and Level 7. I think the hotel is best the location to reach the Shanghai subway systems, which has No.3, No.4 and No.13 subways lines just beside of the hotel, walking only few seconds. It was best experience living in Shanghai hotel.

This time, I arrived at the Shama Hotel in Shanghai, where the front desk staff, Angel Zhu, provided exceptionally attentive service. She swiftly completed the check-in process for me and escorted me to my room. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai. The room was spacious and bright, with a decor that elegantly blended modern style with the charm of old Shanghai. The interior was meticulously arranged. Looking out from the window, whether it was the bustling traffic during the day or the dazzling lights at night, I was utterly enchanted. + The Hotel is next to Line 2, where you can go to both airports, the Bund and many more places.
The rooms are beautiful and have a shower and bathtube.
- The Hotel itself looks old.
The rooms don't get cleaned very well (I had hair in my bathtube and at my sink when I checked in).
The rooms look very used and you can see they don't get cleaned carefully.
Also the messurement writings from the construction workers are still on the tiles in the bathroom, even the renovation was long time ago.
The breakfast is okay, just the pots and glasses where you can get juice from are dirty.

Nicely located hotel in zhongshan park connected to cloud nine mall. Hotel entrance can be access inside the mall, not far from zara. Lobby at level 25 is huge but why only 4 seater sofa available for guests. Hopefully the hotel can add more chairs at the lobby for guests to sit during check in and out. I was attended by Miss Almira during check in. Miss Almira is very welcoming and friendly and efficient and she can speak fluent english. At the executive lounge on 26th Floor, we were being served by Mr Rain. Once again, outstanding service given by Mr Rain. Rain was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Two thumbs up to Almira and Rain. In terms of rooms, yes they were a bit dated, old and in need of some refurbishment. However, everything in the room is working good. Bathroom amenities were good too. At the executive lounge, we feel that the food selection during Afternoon Tea is poor (at 4pm, there is no refill anymore alto the afternoon tea is until 5pm). The evening happy hour session was very crowded and chaotic with guest fighting over the buffet food. My suggestion is that mayb the hotel can consider distributing the roast meat from table to table instead of having all guests fighting over it which does not loom good for executive lounge experience. Otherwise the food selection for the happy hour was good and very substantial. For buffet breakfast, once again the situation is very crowded from 8am to 9am. Hotel look under staff too during buffet breakfast. Nevertheless, this hotel buffet breakfast spread was good, extensive and many delicious local food to try. Hopefully the hotel management can find a way to solve the crowded and chaotic situation during evening happy hour at the Executive Lounge and Buffet Breakfast. Overall, i still think this is a great to excellent to stay in shanghai. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserHad a stay before leaving via Hongqiao Airport. Location-wise it’s in prioximity to 2 malls, which is next to the metro station, but it would be a 20-25 mins walk actually as the hotel and these places are not interlinked. The staff were very nice and welcoming, especially a male staff who wore glasses during night shift. Delivery can be directed to room conveniently by mini-bots. Free washing machines and dryer too.
The hotel is new and they even offered drip coffee and tea in room. One drawback was that I saw people smoking at the bar area near lobby but the staff didn’t stop him, probably a norm in the culture.
Overall a pleasant stay with the reasonable price.

The reception and housekeeping staff were friendly, helpful, and provided good service.
However, there was a noticeable cigarette smell throughout the property, and the silicone seals in the bathroom were dirty and showed signs of mold.
The daily breakfast, consisting of 2 steamed buns, 1 boiled egg, and soy milk, was available for pick-up at the reception.

GGuest UserI didn't expect there is such a quiet and unique hotel near East China Normal University. I really like their mahogany style. It's the first time I've seen a sink in the hall. There is a workbench, a sofa and a small table. This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in during my stay in Shanghai! The staff is also very attentive and enthusiastic. I like it! Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe price-performance ratio is very high. There are many delicious foods around. I ate the old hot pot on the first day. There is also a popular community bakery not far away. You can order takeout from Aldi. I didn't want to go far to queue for butterfly cakes, so I ordered takeout directly. The light food takeout around is also delicious. There is an old-fashioned noodle shop downstairs, which is quite crowded. There is a Lawson convenience store ahead. The customer service replies on WeChat are very fast, but because it is close to the road, there is still a little noise at night, but at this price, don't worry about it~

The hygiene is not very good, there are water stains, the floor is not tidy, and the sound insulation is average. The toilet is relatively clean. The room where no one stays is open, which makes people feel insecure. The toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are distributed upon check-in, not placed in the room. It is 800 meters away from the navigation subway station. There is another subway station halfway, but you need to know which subway number to take because the two station entrances are different.

AAnonymous UserIf you are used to traveling in China, the room is just about acceptable. It was a Chinese student dormitory-level room, far from as clean as the photos on the website.
The website says the rooms are on the 16th, 19th, and 29th floors, but in reality they are on the 3rd to 30th floors, so we were assigned a room on the 10th floor.
The noise from lines 3 and 4 is loud, so if you are not used to it, it is best to avoid it.
We stayed for 4 nights and the towels were never changed, and the elevator to the entrance on the 2nd floor was broken both going up and down, so it was difficult to carry our luggage.
It was convenient that it was close to Exit 10 of Zhongshan Park.
