The hotel was spacious, you can fit 2 large luggages in the room and still have ample space to walk ard. If only they had one more extra chair so my husband and I can sit comfortably. I find the bed comfortable enough, I like the automatic toilet bowl, the pressure for the water was just right. The helpers, service staff was very helpful and polite throughout our stay. They provided us with lots of water to make sure we are hydrated as the weather outside is really hot. The cleaner’s name is LIN or LING 阿姨， she was the one that took care of us throughout our 5 days. The room service food was way better than the one in JW Marriott for some reason. Please order the Xiao Long Bao and bolognese pasta. You can skip the pizza entirely, it’s bad. We ordered a bucket of ice, and there was a young boy who delivered our ice in the middle of the night with a huge smile, he said, “Hi”👋🏼with a hig happy smile and then a “BYE~”when he’s all done. He was so enthusiastic and it made our night. At the lobby, it’s pretty small, some taxis can’t find the entrance to the lobby, take a pic if you order a didi, so the driver may know what to look out for. The doorman was really nice, he helped us with our luggage’s in seconds, 谢谢你 Liu Xiao Xiu. I highly recommend the stay here as all the staffs seems like they have gone through a 5 star training program. It’s one of the most pleasant stay. I hope this review will not lead to a price increase on trip.com. Chang Shou lu has lots of hipster cafe and interesting restaurants ard the hood, so do you research and explore the neighbourhood.

Great location nearby metro line 7 (exit 5), and multiple food, cafes, bakeries, and convenience stores, including a nice shopping too, all within a 2 minute walk. The location benefits from being across from a nice residential compound so it’s not noisy at all at night. The hotel is modern with good amenities including communal laundry/dryer, microwave, and even a free massage chair in the lobby. My room was clean and modern, and it’s nice and quiet. There are different sized rooms and I was fortunate to get an upgrade to a larger room, thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. Although they do not speak English they do have a phone translation app which works well. All-in-all I recommend this place.

The staffs are quick to respond and helpful. Hotel overall service is very good. Cleanliness is a 9/10. But, carpet in the rooms need to be shampoo and sanitized for a fresh scent. Thicker mattress would be an added plus for comfort and good rest. I stayed 2 nights and the last night, the mattress was a bit flatten and stiff.
Buffet breakfast was limited to choices.
Overall, I will return to stay.

Entrance is just an elevator door next to the bank, on the side of the building. Check in on the 3rd floor.
Staff were all friendly and helpful. Especially the cleaning staff, they even guided us to the stairs while the elevator was being cleaned!
Despite being on a busy street corner, we didn’t hear any street noise or sound from other rooms! The room was also quite large and comfortable.
Many good food options nearby, but it is a long walk to the metro station.

I booked this hotel as I've been always a Ji hotel customer for years but this time was the most weird experience that I've ever had.
Generally the hotel,cleanliness and location is good,also the staff were very helpful and tried their best to give me the best room they had although they couldn't speak English.
The most weird thing is that I gave them my luggage when I checked out and by the time that I came back to get my luggage they gave me a similar luggage just like mine but belonged to someone else and I found it out when I came to airport to get boarding card! Briefly this situation made a lot of trouble for me and after all the phone calls,stress and etc. I couldn't get my luggage as it was too late for them to send. Now that I left the country I gotta spend 4000¥ to get my luggage back and the only thing they did was to send it to my friend's place in Shanghai.
I expected Ji hotel to take full responsibility for this mistake and act more professional but I'm disappointed Now. So to everyone who's going to book this hotel,pls be more careful with your belongings as the staff may put you in trouble and one more thing to say is that if you're a light sleeper, forget this branch of JI hotel for now since their next door is on a 24/7 construction that may not be very sleep friendly to you!

Very helpful and friendly staff though they didn't speak any English. Breakfast was a bit bland and low quality but OK. The rooms were well designed and equipped but the only problem is that they smelled a bit of cigarette smoke. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nice with actual doors which is rare in China hostels.

The entrance is not convenient due to renovation.
The check in is fast.
Cockroach in the bathroom due to renovation but the housekeeping crew was helpful.
It's about 8mins walk to metro station.

It was my first time to Shanghai on a business trip. I chose a place close to my business. The price was affordable. The front desk service was very gentle. When I checked in, the front desk poured me tea and candies. Because I went early, the front desk asked me to choose a room in a favorite location. They also introduced the hotel's laundry room. If you need them to wash, just call to let them know. The service was very good. The room was quite large, there was a massage chair in the lounge area, and there was also a spinning bike, which you can ride when you have nothing to do. The surrounding area is very prosperous and the transportation is convenient. If you come next time, it's better to choose here

The location is super convenient — you’ve got easy access to the metro station, supermarkets, McDonald’s, Starbucks, and tons of restaurants. The room is also equipped with a washing and drying machine, a microwave, and a big TV screen that supports smartphone mirroring, giving you total freedom.
The service is excellent too — Ms. Yunyun has been incredibly kind and always helped me whenever I had questions. Giving her 5stars for her outstanding attitude and skills.
I’ll definitely book again in the future.

The best thing is that there is a shuttle bus to Disneyland, which is frequent and punctual, which easily solves the travel problem and can quickly ”recover” after the trip. The room is warmly decorated, spotlessly clean, and the bed is moderately soft and hard. The service staff is kind and patient, and the whole experience of staying is perfect. It is super suitable for both family travel and couples travel!

GGuest UserThe second time I stayed, the experience of the previous stay was not 100% satisfactory, but the boss service was very good, not only gave the voucher but also made a lot of rectifications;
The housekeeper contacted me in advance before check-in and gave me a very detailed check-in guide, including the subway and parking lot. Their home is in a single-family apartment building. It is better to recognize the check-in guide.
This time I changed the toilet and bedding, and the bedding was replaced with a mattress, which was very good; the bath towels and towels were replaced with thicker ones, and the number was more than before;
The construction foundation of the Jade Buddha Temple downstairs has been completed, and there is no big movement. It seems that the construction time has been delayed in the morning. The morning is basically very quiet.
The style of their room is quite a lot, the overall design is more, and the boss can listen to the opinions of the tenants, and change it if you know the mistakes.

1. Great location, 5-7 minutes to the metro (line 13 is very convenient).
2. There is air conditioning, in the heat (35-38 degrees) it really helped.
3. Every day they cleaned the room, changed the towels and put 2 bottles of water.
4. At the reception you can ask for a block for a Chinese socket from an iPhone, they give it to you without any problems, the main thing is to explain or translate through a translator.
Disadvantages:
1. I got a room with steps leading to the bathroom, therefore, if you are 190+ tall, you will have to wash yourself bent over.
2. On the 3rd day after returning home, there was a centipede on the wall. We did not change the room, since everything was already unpacked, but a friend (who recommended this hotel, said that in this case you can take a photo / record a video and they will change your room)
To sum up, I would give this hotel 8 out of 10 for my money.

GGuest UserQuite a good hotel, fully meets expectations, considering the low cost. The location is very convenient, a very beautiful temple is right next door, the Jiangning Road metro station is really a couple of minutes walk away, opposite the FamilyMart hotel. The staff is polite, helpful. The renovation is old, which is what gives away the cheapness. The room is cleaned every day, they give out all the necessary accessories (toothbrush/paste, comb, slippers, napkins, toilet paper and water) as needed. Of the minuses: we did not have a refrigerator in our room (maybe in other rooms there is), it makes life very difficult ... but there was a hairdryer, kettle, TV (did not use, I do not even know what channels are there) and air conditioning. The bed is large and comfortable. In general, we were pleased with the hotel 👍🏻
P.S. I made screenshots from the video, so the quality is so-so, but the gist is clear.
