Amazing little hotel. They provided toiletries and things to use for bath. Staffs are helpful and friendly and there are cute cats at the reception. Location is also very good as you can get to the metro within 5-10 minutes walk depending on your speed. There are convenience store nearby and you are around the French Concession with many nice street to walk to. Recommend strolling at Tianzifang in the mornings.

Great hotel, I love the decor, it was well kept and very clean, and stylish. Breakfast was good enough, a nice selection of Chinese foods, not too many western options but was adequate.
On our first night, my luggage was stuck and could not open, the kind receptionist called their service man, at 11pm and with a screwdriver they managed to pop open my luggage thankfully! Unlimited supply of water and very responsible housekeeping!
Wished there was a pool as Shanghai is incredibly hot but for this price, no complaints!!!

The room was clean, except for some details like under the bed, where it was full of dust. The closet is small for two people to share and the space available for storing clothes/luggage is in general tiny.
Location of the hotel is nice, as it lies in a quite walkable area, and by foot you can reach the Huaihai Road (good for shopping) in 35m. Metro line 9 is a 15m walk.
The service was okay. The staff at the reception did not speak English and they offered no help or guidance about the city: quite essential service. Their attitude was in general detached and seemed quite un-open to communicating. Also, after leaving the room and realizing there were still some clothes left inside, I tried to report it to the reception and they just sent me to the room to check without even communicating to the cleaning service. It ended up that my clothes were not in the room anymore and the staff offered no further help, so I left without these clothes.
Also, i had explicitly booked a room with “City View” and I was placed in room 1402 with one very dirty window - out of 2 windows available to enjoy the view. After asking to clean it, they made an unsuccessful attempt and then just left me with the dirty window without any kind of compensation. I was only offered to switch to another room in a lower floor and with no city view, which made no sense considering I had paid more specifically to have a room with “City View”.
Breakfast is decent and offers a good variety of food.
The staff is understanding if a host is taking few minutes past closing time to finish the food. The staff at the breakfast floor is also very nice and friendly.
The main perk of the hotel for me was the cafè at the hall, where a very friendly girl employee works. She was very nice and gave me and my girlfriend some unique advice on places to visit in the city. She was of course also making extremely good flat white and coffee.
Balancing everything out though, if was to come back to Shanghai, I would probably choose a different hotel.

We recently stayed at Citigo Hotel shanghai bund for 6 nights, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly team that made me feel welcome right away. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect of my stay, always eager to assist and ensure my comfort.
The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, and spacious, with all the amenities you could possibly need. The housekeeping team kept everything in pristine condition throughout my stay. The water bottles and amenities were constantly replenished.
What really stood out, however, was the staff. Whether it was the front desk team helping with local recommendations, the restaurant staff providing great dining suggestions, or the concierge offering insightful tips on the best places to visit in the area such as 苏州市and 乌镇. Everyone made sure I had everything I needed. Special mention goes to staff members who worked the night shift, who was exceptionally helpful when I needed assistance with booking tours and handling a small issue I had with my reservation.
This hotel is a true gem, and it’s clear that the management invests in providing top-tier service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but a genuinely pleasant experience with staff that truly cares. I’ll definitely be back!

Located 10 minutes walk from the metro station and handly in visiting all the key sites in the thriving city
A few issues overall
The public area and laundry room are clean and well presented
Our room, which whole was large, needs some general improvements in terms of general repairs to the wallpaper and the main door slamming .1608 / 1611
The room cleaning was good and the bed was very comfortable
I did notice fire doors were left propt open at night, which is a concern ? Also, a jogging machine was out of service in the gym, which was a surprise since a recent comment published that all gym equipment would be improved?
But overall, it is a good place to stay for the price paid

was able to contact the hotel with trip.com chat. facilitated the stay greatly. Very comfortable bed and pillow. and loved that it had laundry space. didn get to use the exercise equipment cuz walking during the day was bad enough but they looked well maintained
location was a bit far from the lujiabang station, closer to madang station
breakfast was good too, and had a decent spread
overall great stay :)
i'm not sure why the hotel staff kept opening the windows during cleaning though

All the items in the room are very complete, and no matter what is missing, tell the waiter that she will buy things to send, answer all questions, and recommend fun places for us. And the traffic around the room is very developed, very close to the subway station. There are also many places to eat around. I like this homestay very much! I also like this waiter Yuan Jiajia! If you have any questions at night, she will answer them in time. The experience is excellent!

The overall room facilities and equipment are OK, and the room is clean. There are buses and subways around, and it is also close to the city center and the hospital. The room is well ventilated, the towels and bath towels are clean, and the bed sheets and quilt covers are also flat. Overall, it is good. The hotel responds very quickly. If you have any questions, you can ask the front desk, and the front desk will answer them patiently. It is worth recommending and will stay here next time. There is a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. in the room. The front desk also upgraded the large bed I booked, and also gave me a late check-out. I am still very grateful! So it is still worth recommending to travelers.

Although I didn't have much expectations for hotel facilities in the center of Shanghai at this price, after actually entering the room, I found that all the facilities and furniture were not just shabby. The good thing is that the hygiene is quite attentive, the service at the front desk is still good, and the soundproofing of the hotel is better than expected, which is also related to the layout of the room. In addition, the location is very good and it is very convenient to get everywhere.
