To sum it up, this was a nearly perfect vacation, and in my opinion, if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil, and comfortable resort experience, then Banyan Tree Sanya is the absolute best in Sanya! Beyond these advantages that surpass other hotels, Banyan Tree doesn't skimp on the expected perks of a luxury brand. First, the online claims of outdated facilities are unfounded; everything is in perfect working order. Second, regarding hygiene, even with a private pool villa nestled in the rainforest, I found the cleanliness to be absolutely up to standard! I was also quite satisfied with breakfast, especially the sour and spicy seafood noodles and the egg tarts – absolutely superb! And most importantly, the service. You can tell the front desk and concierge staff are genuinely dedicated; they are very patient and communicate and resolve issues promptly. Since it was our anniversary, they even upgraded our room when available, a big thank you to our butler, Youyou, for this wonderful hospitality! Overall, this trip far exceeded my expectations, and I am extremely satisfied!

Cameron is nice, and the service was good, as was the hotel itself. It had all the facilities, a clean environment, and a wide variety of delicious and affordable food. There were many activities available, and even bug spray provided. The room had plenty of water options. The Chinese lunch arrangements were appropriate and plentiful. The only drawbacks were that the light switches in the room weren't great, a bit hard to control. The air conditioning in the Japanese restaurant wasn't strong enough, making it a bit warm. The travel photography selection process felt a bit like forced consumption; they were very quick to pull out a QR code and demand payment, as if they were afraid I wouldn't buy anything. That was a small disappointment on the trip, and I'd recommend avoiding this travel photography service; it wasn't as good as one I would choose myself. Overall, the Westin offers great value for money, with an all-inclusive package that provides plenty of diverse and clean food. It's perfect for a relaxing vacation, with a nice swimming pool, ping-pong table, billiards, and a gym, along with various activities. It's really suitable for a holiday and much better than other popular 'influencer' hotels. The F&B staff were also very accommodating, asking about our needs and what could be improved. Overall, I'm very satisfied, except for the travel photography. Every trip has a small regret, but it didn't spoil the mood. Overall, the Westin is excellent.

Environment: I brought my child here once in mid-May and stayed in a Deluxe Seaview Twin room. It had a full sea view, and the scenery was excellent. The 88-square-meter room was also very spacious. Service: The reason I chose InterContinental again this time is because I think the hotel offers great service, always responding to requests. The mini-train ride is free, and the shuttle bus takes you to the beach. We arrived at 11 AM to check in, stored our luggage, and took the child directly to the indoor playground. Since my child needed a nap, I hoped for an early check-in. At 2 PM, the front desk informed us that a family suite was available on the 7th floor (which was an upgrade from our original room type). Although I still preferred a higher floor with a full sea view, I didn't mind too much, thinking my child could finally take a nap. It actually still had a sea view. Facilities: The hotel opened in 2014. I stayed here at the end of 2015, and back then, it wasn't a family-friendly hotel and didn't have as many activities. At that time, I basically just slept in the hotel every day and rarely went out. Although it's been over ten years now, the in-room facilities are not outdated; classics remain classics.

Our housekeeper, Diana, is an impressive woman. Tall and strong, with powerful arms and a physique like a wall. She has strong legs, sturdy arms, and a robust, muscular chest as solid as rebar. She's a woman of formidable build, standing like a stone tower and running like a gale. Her shoulders are like a double-door refrigerator, her eyes sparkle like cold stars, and her eyebrows are as dark as if painted. Her broad chest exudes an aura of invincibility. Her speech is grand, proclaiming lofty aspirations. Brave and bold, like a sky-shaking lion descending from the clouds. Strong of bone and sinew, like an earth-shaking pixiu gracing a seat. Like a demon-vanquishing lord from heaven, truly a powerful deity on earth, what a truly admirable woman! What a broad chest for a customer to lean on!! Alright, on a serious note, Diana's service was absolutely superb! She proactively checked in with us every day, replied to messages incredibly fast, and her service was so thoughtful. We even received farewell gifts when we left – two very practical sacks ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_. If you're staying in Haitang Bay alone and haven't seen the Grand Hyatt's evening fireworks display, then your Sanya trip is incomplete and has regrets. And if you don't get two Grand Hyatt coconuts, it's like not having eaten the Grand Hyatt's breakfast waffles. And if you don't get your waffles crispy and drizzle them with honey and chocolate sauce, it's like not having enjoyed the Grand Hyatt's sea-view bathtub, destined for a relatively less delicious life!

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The sea view was fantastic! The weather was bad, so I stayed in the room the whole time and didn't get a chance to experience the pool. But this suite was truly excellent: clean, bright, and spacious. It had two separate bathrooms, and at night, the bedroom doors could be closed for privacy. Both rooms also had their own balconies. Although it's close to the airport and planes constantly flew overhead when on the balcony, you could barely hear any noise once the doors were closed. The downside: The food at the executive lounge was a bit disappointing. There was a limited variety of hot dishes, and all the desserts were mousse-based, which were both heavy and not very tasty. Wouldn't some regular cakes have been better?

Staying at the Seaview Hotel this time was a truly wonderful surprise! The seaview room we booked had an amazing view; opening the window revealed the ocean, and we enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. The room was very clean and well-equipped, with a full set of toiletries. The hotel environment was quiet and had a great ambiance. The butler service was attentive, and requests were handled promptly. The location is excellent, very close to the beach on foot, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. We felt very relaxed, and it truly enhanced our travel experience. Highly recommend it to everyone!

A hotel with exceptional service, and I really want to highlight the service. A huge thank you to Lucia, our hotel butler, for her constant help throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in, Lucia was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. When we checked out, I realized I'd left my power bank in the room, and Lucia promptly arranged for a delivery service to bring it back. Having Lucia as our butler made this trip incredibly pleasant. She's the most attentive butler I've encountered in all my visits to Sanya. **Location:** The hotel is just across the road from Sanya Bay's Coconut Palm Promenade, making beach access super convenient. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. **Room Facilities:** The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel itself is quite large and has a very distinctive design style. My two children absolutely loved the big bathtub in the room. You can also see the ocean from the hotel balcony. **Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. As it's a family-friendly hotel, they also provide baby utensils. The restaurant is very spacious with two huge halls. **Hotel Environment:** The hotel boasts a massive lawn, perfect for travel photography. We brought our two kids for a photoshoot, and each room comes with 5 complimentary retouched travel photos. **Kids' Activities:** This hotel is ideal for families with children. There are several swimming pools, a small water park, and a huge indoor children's play area. The kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave!

Although the Mangrove Tree Resort is an older hotel, its facilities are still excellent, clean, and tidy. The staff are enthusiastic and offer service with a smile. The hotel is situated on the picturesque Yalong Bay coastline, with coconut groves, lawns, and beach loungers, all designed to help guests relax and unwind. The Chinese restaurant offers delicious food, and the Thai restaurant is also quite good. If you're coming to Yalong Bay in Sanya, this is 100% my top choice. This year, they've introduced a new butler service, which gives you a warm, 'home-like' feeling. For anything you need, just ask your butler!

Since 2020, every year around late July and early August, my annual rendezvous with the mountains and sea unfailingly comes to pass. The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart. I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience. This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Without me even having to ask, she proactively inquired about my itinerary and daily needs, promptly arranging room cleaning, replenishing beverages, and even thoughtfully providing fruit plates and desserts. When my relatives and friends later checked into the same type of seaview room, they were also handled by the butler throughout their stay. She arranged high-floor rooms with large balconies offering sea views and even provided upgrades. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with fruit plates and desserts – comprehensive and impeccable service. This has been the most outstanding butler service I've experienced in my many years of staying at the Mangrove Tree Resort. I sincerely hope the hotel can cultivate more such excellent service staff. I also want to thank the Trip.com butler who helped me communicate and implement my special check-in requests in advance. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless. As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Strolling through the hotel gardens, gazing at the vast ocean, enjoying delicious food with the sea breeze; at night, sitting alone by the sea, listening to the rhythmic waves, I fully indulge in the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation. I have witnessed the hotel’s growth and transformation over the years and wish to continue accompanying the Mangrove Tree Resort on its journey forward. I look forward to the hotel's continued refinement and the unlocking of more novel and exciting experiences. I anticipate returning next summer for another rendezvous with the mountains and sea. I absolutely have to give a shout-out to Ella, the butler at Wanda Realm! To be honest, the room facilities are a bit dated; you can definitely see the age in the bathroom and furniture. But that didn't detract from our experience at all, because the butler service was simply outstanding! From adding her on WeChat to communicate our needs during check-in, to receiving daily thoughtful weather and activity reminders, every request was met with a prompt response. The butler even specially delivered a fresh fruit platter to our room. And at check-out, she had prepared Hainan specialty souvenirs. The attention to detail was incredible, making us feel truly valued and pampered. Moreover, the hotel's outdoor environment is absolutely stunning! The sand on the beach is as fine as flour, the seawater is crystal clear, and every photo you take looks like a wallpaper. The complimentary travel photoshoot was an even bigger surprise; the photographer patiently guided our poses, and the results were simply amazing. We ended up buying a package of over twenty photos, which was far better than any roadside photographer – why even bother with a bicycle when you have a luxury car? (a Chinese idiom meaning 'why settle for less when you can have the best') Honestly, I truly believe that without the dedicated efforts of these high-quality professionals, this hotel would struggle to operate so smoothly. The hardware might be old, but the warmth of the people makes up for it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values service experience!
