The Sanya Luhuitou Resort, renamed from Anantara Resort, is located in Xiaodonghai, Sanya, Hainan Island, known as the "Hawaii of the East." It's close to Luhuitou Park, Luhuitou Golf Course, and Volvo Yacht Harbor. Guest rooms, suites, and pool villas embody oriental charm and feature KINGSKYES mattresses for healthy and comfortable sleep, creating a magnificent paradise on Sanya's stunning coastline. You and your family can enjoy a private and exclusive space. A master-level golf course, a variety of challenging outdoor activities, and an on-site children's playground will add excitement and joy to your vacation with your children.

"The villa is beautiful and the pool water is very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can walk over and dip your toes in the water. The rooms are large and plentiful, and I got a bit disoriented when I first checked in. Unlike other standalone villa hotels I've stayed at, this one doesn't have a butler service; you need to call the front desk for any requests. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed. We checked in during peak hours, and the front desk staff looked very tired and overwhelmed. They didn't even guide guests queuing up in an orderly fashion. The experience in this regard was quite poor compared to the Hilton we stayed at two days ago. If you're staying in a villa, you'll need to bring your own mosquito repellent. Because the rooms are so large and there's a lot of greenery, even electric mosquito coils were largely ineffective. I didn't see any mosquito traps or similar facilities outside either. We were almost carried away by Sanya's mosquitoes!"

"The hotel's public areas are quite spacious, with a wide variety of restaurants and an excellent breakfast. Plus, the beach is just a short walk away and is also fantastic. I saw Coach Allen recommend this place on Xiaohongshu, and it truly is perfect in every aspect. Service: Our butler, Annie, was both enthusiastic and discreet. She proactively asked about our needs and arranged a room with a great view for us on the day we checked in. The transition from our previous hotel to checking in here was seamless. I hope Annie will be our butler again next time we stay at the InterContinental. Restaurants: We tried the Mediterranean restaurant, Tao Langge, and the Beer Factory, and all of them had delicious food. The prices were fair for the quality and ambiance. The staff at all the restaurants were very pleasant. Room: The view was indeed superb, and the layout was exactly to my liking. Although you can tell it's been around for a while, it's very well-maintained. I even saw a little squirrel before I left. The housekeeper on the tenth floor was very friendly and kept the room spotless. Beach: At this point, the only hotels in Sanya I haven't stayed at are Mandarin Oriental and Sun Bay. Among all the bays and hotels I've stayed at, the InterContinental's beach is the most comfortable and you can go snorkeling directly from it. P.S.: I lost a phone on this trip, so I hope the hotel can provide some SIM card ejector tools. It took me forever to try and get the SIM out using a needle from the sewing kit."

Stayed for two nights. First, I want to commend Kaylee, our butler. Her service was excellent, very proactive, and responsive. The concierge service was great. They were there to open the door and help with luggage as soon as we parked. We were offered welcome leis, but they weren't available when we got out of the car. The lobby didn't have air conditioning and was a bit warm, but it was well-ventilated. Check-in was quite fast, and they provided detailed information. The elevator had AC and was very cool, and our luggage was delivered to the room quickly. The hallway to the room was too long and outdoors, making it quite hot. However, it looked beautiful once the sun set. The family room had one king-size bed and one single bed. The mattresses were good, no backaches. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. The shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature. Bottled water was replenished promptly and generously. Room 833 offered a partial sea view and a partial view of the duty-free shop and a new hotel that's still under construction. It wasn't noisy, and the duty-free shop lights looked lovely at night. The only **bug** was the bathtub on the balcony, which made it impossible to take a bath. The room had no musty smell and didn't feel old. There was a huge table, convenient for dining. We received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the passionfruit was absolutely delicious. A complimentary minibar was provided, with drinks and snacks. The family pool was a bit basic, without a water playground, but it had free floats and basketballs. There were plenty of lifeguards who helped inflate the floats. There was a shuttle bus to the beach, and the driver was very friendly and chatty. The beach had lounge chairs, and the sand crab catching activity was excellent and engaging. There wasn't much hawking on the beach, which contributed to a great vacation vibe. Free sand-digging tools were available at the beach. The kids' club was next to the B1 breakfast restaurant, with activities suitable for younger children. Tree climbing was a lot of fun and came with small prizes. The bubble activities were a hit with all the kids. You could reach the duty-free shop by crossing the road through a small gate, which closed at 10 PM. We weren't bitten by mosquitoes at all during our stay, which indicates good pest control – a definite plus. Breakfast was a bit simple; the variety could be improved. We didn't have to wait for a table even when arriving after 10 AM, and the food was replenished promptly. The Xinglong coffee was good. Eating outdoors was slightly warm but offered views of fish and snorkeling. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was delicious, delicious, delicious! The hotpot at the Western restaurant was decent, and the ambiance was good. There were plenty of takeout options nearby, but you had to pick them up from the takeout cabinet yourself. The 'Qingbuliang' (Hainanese dessert soup) from room service was good. It's a shame we didn't go snorkeling. We'll have to come back next time.

The room was great, very satisfied! If you need a swimming tube, you'll need to bring your own, but the hotel will inflate it for you. The housekeeping service was excellent, very prompt with cleaning, and they brought complimentary Qingbuliang (a local dessert) every day. There's also an electric shuttle to take you around, and the beach is very quiet with hardly anyone there, so it's perfect if you like peace and quiet. The breakfast, however, was quite average.

Bringing my kids to Sanya for vacation and choosing the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay was an absolute stroke of genius! The super-spacious Camp Hyatt kids' club, fun pool bubble activities, and quiet private beach made taking care of the little ones so easy. The rooms were fully stocked with amenities, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the food appealed to all ages. A heartfelt shout-out to our butler, Diana. She prepared children's amenities for us in advance and was always responsive to our various needs. She thoughtfully informed us about the hotel's daily family activities and quickly helped us resolve minor issues during our stay. Her service was gentle, patient, and incredibly attentive. The hotel's overall service standard is excellent, and paired with Diana's thoughtful one-on-one butler service, our family's island trip was perfect and comfortable. We'll definitely be back for future vacations!

The room facilities were great, and our butler Olivia provided excellent service. From the moment we arrived, she assisted with check-in and was very attentive throughout our stay. She was always quick to fulfill our requests for in-room items. The minibar and snack bar were replenished daily, and while the items weren't expensive, it was a nice touch that added to the overall experience. Breakfast wasn't as good as at the Ritz or Raffles, but everything else was perfect. The seawater pool was wonderful and very comfortable. In contrast, the rooftop infinity pool felt a bit small. Overall, everything was good, but perhaps my expectations were too high beforehand, so it didn't feel as amazing as I'd hoped.

I have to give a huge shout-out to my stay at Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay this time! The Sheraton Yalong Bay consistently puts guests first, promptly addressing feedback, and providing thoughtful and attentive service, which truly deserves praise. Their service is professional and on-point, efficiently handling guest requests and actively gathering feedback to meticulously enhance the stay experience. I encountered a minor issue during my stay, and the staff proactively contacted me immediately, even adding me on WeChat to follow up on my subsequent experience. The hotel grounds are surrounded by coconut groves, offering beauty beyond just the mountain and sea views, with warm and unobtrusive service that truly nurtures the soul. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, gentle and meticulous hospitality was present throughout. The staff were enthusiastic, considerate, and polite, offering perfectly timed attentive company—neither overbearing nor distant—and meticulously responding to every need. The multiple swimming pools are fantastic for photos. The room was clean and tidy, and the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed was incredibly comfortable. What truly impressed me most was the service: genuine, actively listening to guest suggestions, and diligently relaying them to relevant departments for improvement. It's suitable for both couples on vacation and families traveling with children. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Sanya. 1. Surrounded by coconut groves and the blue sea, Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay captures the gentleness of the island with its meticulous service. 2. More than just a beachfront view, the thoughtful and attentive service at Sheraton Yalong Bay was the biggest surprise of this trip. 3. I'll be back next year!

Although the room we initially got wasn't ideal, the customer service was incredibly responsive. They promptly upgraded us to a suite, which made us very happy and satisfied! My kids absolutely loved the pool access room. The lobby manager and my 'watermelon' butler were both so helpful in resolving any issues. Our whole family was really pleased with this trip; it was a fantastic experience!

I stayed at the Howard Johnson Resort Sanya Bay for four nights. It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing family-friendly hotel; in terms of kids' activities, it's the best I've experienced among all the hotels I've stayed at in Sanya over the past few years. The paddleboarding class was really fun, the instructors were responsible and engaging, and they really connected with the kids. The bubble show wasn't just a simple one, it included little games too. A big shout-out to all the instructors! **Cleanliness:** The rooms were very clean, and they were flexible with tidying based on guest needs, not just a rigid routine. **Facilities:** This is my only complaint. They really need an upgrade. The toothbrush holder was so old it was unsightly. The seals on the main door, bathroom door, and shower door were all aged, making them close with a loud bang. **Service:** The lifeguards at the public pool were the most responsible I've ever encountered. They were constantly vigilant and proactively engaged with guests, offering help and resolving any issues with enthusiasm.

The Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay

This is our fourth consecutive summer vacation in a beachfront villa in Yalong Bay, but it's our first time staying at the Ritz-Carlton's beachfront villa. From the moment we made the reservation, our entire experience with the Ritz has been nothing short of perfect. Throughout our week-plus stay, the hotel's service was truly exceptional, anticipating our every need and even surprising us with many thoughtful little details – like the beautiful shells left for our child after daily room cleaning, or the charming towel animals folded on our child's extra bed during turndown service. As for the room itself, aside from the slightly small courtyard, the facilities, functions, and layout both inside and outside the room were incredibly well-designed, ensuring a comfortable stay even for an extended period. This is particularly impressive for a Ritz-Carlton, considering that some of its infrastructure might be a little dated. I must extend a special thank you to Hans from the marketing department and Felix Xiao Shen, our villa butler. From helping us adjust our schedule to miraculously avoid Typhoon Maysak, to their warm hospitality throughout our week-long stay, they ensured our family had a vacation that was both comfortable and heartwarming. We look forward to returning to the Ritz next summer to escape the heat.

Two days that far exceeded my expectations! Our butler, Coral, was so thoughtful. It must have been the off-season because we got an upgrade. She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was super convenient. The room was huge, with two beds facing the balcony, so you could lie in bed and watch the ocean and sunrise. One wall of the bathroom was glass, facing the sea, making it clean and bright. The restaurant was just downstairs, and the roasted chicken at the Thai restaurant was delicious. The room was also very close to the beach, perfect for water activities. In the evenings, you could watch movies on the lawn. There's also a seafood BBQ buffet right by the beach, and they start playing music every evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!
