Spa hotels in Sanya

This was a 'lie-flat' vacation with the kids. I booked a 3-day, 2-night king-bed package during the 618 sale and upon arrival, we were upgraded to an 88-square-meter room. It had a garden view, which was actually nice because we couldn't see the construction of the Lijing project. Anyway, my little one spent every day either at the kids' club or in the pool, so whether it had a sea view or not made little difference. Mom seized the opportunity to pop over to the adjacent Hainan Duty-Free. The InterContinental has its own shortcut through the construction site to the duty-free shop, which is super convenient, and there's a 10% discount on regular-priced clothes and such, which is pretty good and saves a bit of money. The hotel has daily activities you can join; just book the starred ones a day in advance. The kids had a blast every day, busy from morning till night. In the evening, there were more activities and an iron flower performance. After completing the games and checking in, they even got gifts! With Dad's help, they collected a pile of toys, which made them so happy! Our butler, Bobby, was available for any questions, and it was easy to get fresh towels after swimming or grab slippers. We stayed on the second floor, and the auntie who served us was always smiling and very nice – big praise for her!

Banyan Tree Sanya, a hidden gem nestled in Luhuitou Bay. At night, I enjoyed a private soak in the courtyard's hot spring, accompanied by starlight, the gentle sway of palm trees, and the sound of the ocean. The warm water washed away the day's fatigue, and the evening breeze soothed my mind. No need to dwell on worldly worries; just gaze at the stars, listen to the waves, and find a rare sense of tranquility.

This is my second time in Haitang Bay and fourth time in Sanya, and the Grand Hyatt is definitely number one on my personal ranking. 1️⃣ Our butler, Diana, added me on WeChat the night before I left for Sanya and gave me all the information about the Grand Hyatt. Check-in was seamless, and because I had all the hotel info beforehand, taking the kids to eat, swim, and enjoy the sea was super easy. 2️⃣ On the second day of our stay, my child took a call on their smartwatch by the pool and casually left it on a lounge chair. We didn't realize until we got back to the room. I immediately contacted Diana, our butler, who promptly found the watch and personally delivered it to our room. My child's sadness turned to joy, and I can't express my gratitude enough. 3️⃣ The hotel breakfast is amazing! The Zao Po Cu rice noodles are a must-try – truly a hotel specialty. There's an incredible variety of fruits, over a dozen kinds, which our family from the north absolutely loved. The breakfast ice cream is high quality, and the pastries are both beautiful and delicious. All the juices are freshly squeezed, and there are also over a dozen toppings for yogurt and Qingbuliang. Plus, children under 12 eat breakfast for free! High quality and great value – the Grand Hyatt really knows what it's doing. 4️⃣ The hotel and our butler Diana gifted us wine, fruit, and coconuts, catering to both adults and children. Very thoughtful. 5️⃣ The hotel staff are exceptionally well-trained. Every employee we encountered greeted us proactively, and even when asking for directions, we received detailed and friendly assistance. 6️⃣ The children's activities are also excellent, at least for my 6-year-old daughter. She didn't miss a single morning activity, and the outdoor lawn activities were very engaging. In the evening, she saw iron flower performance and fire pots for the first time and absolutely loved them. 7️⃣ The family pool has changing rooms, which is fantastic! We would finish the children's activities and go straight to these changing rooms to change into our swimsuits, then head either to the sea or the pool, without having to go back and forth to our room. After playing by the sea, we'd use the changing room to shower, change into clean clothes, and then go for a buffet dinner – perfect. Our butler, Diana, consistently monitored our stay and promptly responded to and resolved any issues we had. A huge thumbs up! 👍 Looking back, I feel like our stay at the Grand Hyatt was too short. I wish I had shortened our time at the subsequent hotel and stayed longer here. Next time I'm in Sanya, it'll be straight to the Grand Hyatt.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We had booked a panoramic sea view room online, but due to a system error, our reservation couldn't be found at check-in, and the room type we booked was fully occupied. The front desk staff handled the situation brilliantly, reconfirming our reservation in less than ten minutes and even upgrading us for free to an even higher-tier panoramic sea view suite. As soon as we entered the room, they promptly brought up a bed rail and bottle sterilizer for our child. Kid's toiletries were replenished daily, which was super convenient. The room itself was spacious, and the views were simply breathtaking. The only minor drawback is that the decor feels a bit dated by today's standards. The hotel restaurant offers an amazing view overlooking the lawn and the ocean, making breakfast incredibly pleasant. The hotel activities were also quite engaging. The sea was so blue, and the waves were so white. We definitely hope to visit again!

The room's balcony offered a sea view, which was a pleasant surprise, and you could hear the sound of the waves. The twin beds were also perfect; my daughter and I had plenty of space. As soon as we checked in, we added the housekeeper, Tudou (Potato), on WeChat. He was incredibly responsible, checking in daily to see if we needed anything and always answering our questions – really great! While swimming isn't allowed in Haitang Bay, the hotel has sectioned off a small area where you can go into the water. It was quite hot and sunny during our stay, so we only went swimming or to the beach in the evenings. Overall, it was a good experience. I hope to visit the seaside in winter sometime; it's always so hot when I come!

Traveling with my family, I saw good reviews and the hotel was very close to Phoenix Airport, plus they had lots of family-friendly activities, so I booked it without hesitation! Before check-in, our butler, Kay, contacted me to share important information and added me on WeChat. We arrived quite late on the day, but the staff were still very welcoming. The lobby was grand, and our butler had specially arranged a room with a great sea view! The room not only had air conditioning but also a fan, which gave it a lovely Southeast Asian vibe. Very nice! A big thank you to our butler, Kay, for the thoughtful service. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

This stay at the Ritz-Carlton Sanya, Yalong Bay was exceptional, and I'm writing to specifically commend our butler, Jennifer. Throughout our stay, Jennifer consistently demonstrated a proactive and enthusiastic service attitude. She took the initiative to help us book the hotel's special activities and meticulously arranged our luggage handling and storage. Understanding our travel plans, she actively communicated and coordinated a late check-out for us. She was always prompt in responding to any issues we had, handling them with great care and thoughtfulness, truly thinking from a guest's perspective. Jennifer's professional and genuine service embodies the 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' spirit of the Ritz-Carlton. I'm grateful to the hotel for nurturing such an outstanding employee. When I return to Sanya in the future, your hotel will remain my top choice.

The environment is actually pretty good. As an older five-star hotel, the service isn't bad at all. I was traveling alone and just looking to relax, so I didn't have any special demands and booked a basic garden view room. The facilities are indeed quite old-fashioned, and its reputation for having a guesthouse-like vibe is well-deserved. However, staying here was actually alright. The sea in Yalong Bay is truly beautiful, and the Mangrove Tree Resort has a prime beachfront location. If you're looking for beautiful scenery and great photo opportunities, this place is worth it. But if you're looking to relax and prioritize bedding and comfort, you might want to reconsider. From my experience staying at various places on this trip, the Mangrove Tree Resort just doesn't cut it when it comes to comfort.

Booked a family villa, the room was very clean, and the bed was huge. There was plenty of space for my two siblings and me. Our dedicated butler, Liliya, sent us the hotel activity schedule even before we arrived, so we knew what was available. She was also incredibly responsive to our requests. We told her it was my brother's birthday, and she arranged a small decoration and provided a cake – very thoughtful. The booking included executive privileges, so we could access the villa's clubhouse from breakfast until evening, which offered breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The parent-child activities weren't really for us, so we mostly stayed in the room. The staff would pick up our takeout orders, and we could easily call for a shuttle whenever we wanted to go out and explore, which was very convenient.

My stay at Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect! The hotel's tropical gardens are serene and elegant, offering direct oceanfront views in a peaceful and relaxing environment. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach, and very convenient for getting to the duty-free shop. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes made with fresh ingredients. Ella was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and attentive, quickly resolving all my needs. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the vacation experience was outstanding. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Sanya!
