LLiimm11I’ve been to many holidays and I rarely leave reviews, but this is the best accommodation I’ve stayed in so far. The service was impeccable and cannot be compared to other accommodations. There was 6 of us and 4 of us stayed in a family room, while the other 2 stayed in a couple room. There was enough space for all our big luggages.
Both rooms were clean, neat and great. The views were amazing as well. We stayed in the winter, but the room heater was strong and the bed had a heating function too. The cleaner cleans the room everyday and tops up all the water, toothbrush etc.
The surrounding area near the homestay is good, with a tourist attraction just 5 minutes away on foot. It’s very easy to call a DiDi near the homestay, and it is located in a very convenient district.
The owners were very nice, they gave us fruits upon arrival and even topped up our rooms with water as the air was very dry. The owner even brought us to a nearby restaurant and the food was so good, my family and I went back twice.
Although there was no elevator, but the service was extremely good at the homestay and the owners helped us with all our baggages. As we are foreigners, the staff recommended food and visiting places in Dali, and went above and beyond by helping us to book a car for our day trip around Erhai Lake at a reasonable cost. Even after our stay, they helped us to charter a car to Lijiang as well.
I highly recommend this homestay. The experience I had during my time here has left a very positive experience on our trip to Yunnan. The owners are very friendly and are willing to help you with any queries you have. I will make sure to recommend this homestay to my acquaintances and if I ever visit Dali in the future I would definitely book this homestay again!

__WeChat322990****I'm not usually one to write reviews, but the owner's exceptional service completely compelled me to write my very first one! This was by far the cleanest room I've stayed in throughout Yunnan – absolutely no strange odors, so anyone worried about hygiene can book with confidence. There wasn't a whisper of noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. But the real highlight was the service! Even before we arrived, the owner proactively contacted us with directions and tips to avoid common tourist traps. Upon arrival, he gave us a complimentary room upgrade and shared an incredibly detailed itinerary, including taxi advice, which saved us so much hassle. He patiently answered all our questions. The location is also super convenient; a taxi to Erhai Lake or the Cangshan cable car was less than 10 RMB, and the pedestrian street is just a 10-minute walk away. We could catch a taxi just a few meters down the road, which is a huge plus since many parts of the old town center are car-free, and some spots require a 10-minute walk just to find a cab. I could go on and on about all the good things! At check-out, we even received two wonderful souvenirs. If I ever return, I will definitely, definitely, definitely choose this place again. Finally, I wish the owner a prosperous business!

MM392595****I booked two nights next to the ancient city of Dali. After staying there for one night, my kids said it was not fun just to walk around. I canceled the reservation at midnight and booked a hotel at Time Inn next to the ancient city. After arriving, I felt that both kids were very satisfied. The courtyard is very beautiful and warm, and the boss sister is very enthusiastic (their family came here from their hometown in Chongqing to play here before, but they couldn't take care of it and so they ended up living here permanently). We originally only booked it for one night, but the kids didn't have enough fun and stayed here for two days in a row. ! The eldest brother likes to eat the dinner cooked by the boss very much, it is delicious! (He had a bit of a problem with his mouth, but he said it tasted delicious. It must be better than what I made😋) About 100 meters away is Erhai Lake. We went cycling as soon as we arrived. I accidentally broke my knee, and the boss bought me iodine and povidone. He took anti-inflammatory ***** and enthusiastically took my two children to play on the beach. I was very touched! On the third day today, after having dinner with my sister's family, we rode the boss's tricycle to go for a walk on the Erhai Lake. Bashi's board! In the future, when we come to Erhai Lake, we will still book at my sister’s house. It’s very comfortable! (The tricycle is owned by the owner, so you don’t need to pay for it.) All kinds of travel ladies will arrange a comfortable one for us. We must give it a big thumbs up 👍

__WeChat509256****The B&B owner was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. They even helped us adjust our booking when we realized we'd chosen the wrong dates, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, the owner helped us carry our luggage up and down, which was a very thoughtful touch. The B&B itself has a great environment and beautiful views. Plus, you can rent electric scooters there, which is a really good deal. They also serve rice noodle breakfast, and we had it two days in a row – it was delicious, haha. The owner also gave us recommendations for classic tourist routes and tips, helping us avoid any pitfalls.

GGuest UserMy husband and I came to Dali specifically for a relaxing summer escape. We arrived during peak tourist season, so it was incredibly crowded. To avoid the crowds, we decided to stay a bit further from the Ancient City and chose this guesthouse at the foot of Cangshan Mountain. It offered a peaceful retreat, and it was super convenient to get to Erhai Lake or the Ancient City by electric scooter.
After just one night, we were absolutely delighted with our stay! The room was spotless and offered beautiful views of both Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. We immediately extended our booking for two more nights. The owners were incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. They provided a fully equipped kitchen (with pots, pans, utensils, and even seasonings!), free electric scooters, and unlimited complimentary bottled water. The service was truly impeccable – it felt as comfortable and welcoming as being in our own home!

The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet.
The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here).
The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator).
We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel.

The lighting and ventilation of the mountain view room are just average. The Wi-Fi speed is also fast, which is very convenient for office work. The front desk service attitude is enthusiastic and the check-in efficiency is high. In addition, it would be better if there were two more types of hot dishes for breakfast~ But the cost performance is still very high, the location is also convenient, suitable for business travel, and I will consider staying next time.
