GGuest UserExcellent customer service from arrival to check out. Staff were prepared & expecting my check in. They able to identify me and greeted me warmly. Registration was efficient and quick. I was escorted to my rooms with my luggage assisted by a male staff(姓谷). Throughout my 7 nights stay, he always greeted me w a smile and unfailingly polite whether at reception lobby or at breakfast( helping me get my coffee and recommending additionals) In fact, all the staff were always courteous when I passed them, giving me directions when approached, offering an umbrella when it was raining on my way out & thus making me feel welcome in Dalian.
The location is right in the heart of Kaifaqu shopping zone and all within walking distance.
I love the 2nd floor lobby layout with free beverages, comfy seats and even a long informal conference table seatings for impromptu meetings. Attractively arranged fruit platters delivered daily to my room always made me smile upon my return and made my day. I would definitely choose Orange Hotel if I return to Dalian.

CChris .HIt was so nice to stay with you. The room was very clean and convenient. Staff people were so nice and kind. The location was better than expected. They have a huge mall and movie theater. The mall seems to have everything, including many different restaurants. Breakfast was so good.Coffee and the noodles was good, very homemade type. We felt very comfortable. I appreciate you, folks! Definitely want to come again!

The location is close to Dongfang Water City, but not insanely close. The location is a bit awkward, but since taxi fares in China are cheap, it isn't a big problem. The subway station is also about 15 minutes away.
I couldn't visit Lushun Prison because it was closed, but excluding the distance to Lushun, taxi fares to nearby tourist attractions are all around 5,000 won. The bus stop is close lol.
The facilities are clean since it opened this year. The rooms are clean. The lobby is clean. The restroom in the lobby on the first floor is also clean!
The restroom is quite spacious and clean. The hairdryer performance is satisfactory for short hair.
All amenities are provided. You probably only need to bring your own cleansing products.
The fitness center on the 4th floor only has one treadmill.
The washing machine is also on the 4th floor.

The staff are friendly. Only Chinese is available! However, they kindly handle everything using a translator.

OOlga_CheUnfortunately, this hotel turned out to be the worst of my entire two-week trip around China. The staff was friendly, but they didn't speak any English. Overall, the hotel didn't seem particularly foreign-friendly. Simple requests like a fruit bowl or an adapter to charge phone baffled them. When I checked in, I found a clump of long black hair on the bathroom floor. I had to ask them to wash the floors again. The hotel didn't offer any apologies or compliments for this situation. Breakfasts were the most disappointing part. This hotel was the only place in China where I had a bad meal😭 The noodles and even the stewed cabbage were swimming in oil, everything was overly vinegary and garlicky, and there were no fruits, vegetables, or desserts. I ate there only twice in five days, and both times I suffered from severe heartburn. The positive moments are an ideal location and comfortable beds and pillows. I slept well there, even though the room's windows overlooked the highway and not the park as stated when booking.

AAlanaThe B&B converted from a duplex villa is pretty good overall. It's my first time staying in a B&B, it's pretty good, with both advantages and disadvantages
Advantages:
1. The room is a loft, and children like to go up and down, which is more suitable for children to play; 2. The hotel service attitude is very good, basically they are very enthusiastic to help if there is a need, and takeaways can also be delivered upstairs; 3. There are storybooks on the first floor of the hotel that can be borrowed, and there is also a small area suitable for young children to play; 4. The hotel is close to the beach gate No. 1, just walk a little across the road; 5. There are sand digging toys that can be borrowed. When I left, I left the sand digging tools in the hotel, which is convenient for subsequent guests to use.
Disadvantages:
1. The light blocking in the hotel room is not very good. We changed two rooms this time. Candy's home is a little bright at night. The curtains on the window behind the sofa are a little short. The street lights are brighter at night when the lights are turned off. The room is very bright at four in the morning. It is recommended to add blackout curtains; 2. The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, but the details are not enough. The next day, we stayed in Big Bird's home. The table where the phone is placed on the bedside upstairs was very dusty, and the bathroom also had a bit of smell; 3. The breakfast is indeed a bit simple, with few choices. 4. If you need to go to the sea, you need to go to the vicinity of Gates 4 and 5. It is less than 1km on foot and you need to take a taxi, which is not very convenient. There are too many tourists on buses near Gate 1, and the garbage for feeding seagulls is thrown everywhere. It is not recommended to play near Gate 1.

Nnorang123The iPay Judy & Hotel is in a great location. From Dalian Airport, take Line 2 directly to Xi'an Road Station, Exit D. The iPay Hotel is conveniently located within a 1-minute walk of the station. (See map screenshot.) Line 2 also includes the Jiaotong Station, the night market, Qingniwa Station, and Zhongshan Square Station. It's a budget-friendly hotel with breakfast. The front desk staff are very friendly and will do your best to help you.
I also recommend a foot massage place nearby. As a tip, bring a 1,000 won adapter from Daiso. With this adapter, you can use the iPay Hotel's Chinese outlets without any problems. If you're traveling in China, a 1,000 won Daiso outlet will solve all your voltage issues.

GGuest UserThis was my second time choosing this hotel for a layover because it's close to the airport. Last year's stay was great, the price was reasonable, and the receptionist was very friendly and attentive. This year, I booked a standard double room. When I arrived, the receptionist said the window was an interior view window facing the corridor. Since I need a window in my room, I asked how much an exterior view window would cost. I think booking directly through Ctrip usually costs an extra 40+ RMB. Of course, I didn't expect the hotel to upgrade for free, so I asked the receptionist how much extra it would cost. She looked at the computer screen with a calculating expression and said, ”Add 99 RMB.” I said, ”Oh? Isn't it only 40+ RMB?” Then they asked for my ID. I didn't say whether I needed it or not. Seeing that I didn't react, they didn't look at me, still looking at the screen, and said, ”Okay, here's 49 RMB.” I said, ”No need. The original room is fine.” This is supposed to be a proper hotel, but upgrading a room is like a free market?
The TV remote was covered in a thick layer of dust, probably because it wasn't used often and the staff hadn't cleaned it properly. I pressed a button and the TV turned on, but then the remote stopped working. I opened the back cover and saw that the batteries were chewed up and bent out of shape – I wonder how long ago it was? Was it a previous guest or a staff member?
My flight was at 7:30 the next day, so I asked the front desk for a 5:00 wake-up call. The receptionist was very responsible. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle service before 7:00, so I hailed a taxi outside the hotel. It was easy to get a taxi.

MMeixingRi Yue Ming offers excellent service in many aspects. We wanted to stay in a locally-owned hotel, and it turned out to be a very wise decision. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—everyone did their best whenever I asked for something.
There are many local restaurants around the hotel, and Olympia 66 shopping mall is right across the road—just a 3-minute walk away.
Most of the tourist spots were within 20 minutes from the hotel, and there was a convenience store right next door.
I absolutely loved their breakfast and afternoon tea service, which offered a variety of Chinese herbal teas along with plenty of pastries, fruits, and more.
If you want to experience genuine Chinese hospitality, I’d definitely recommend this hotel.
And the manager (I forgot his name) was super friendly—he’ll help you sort out any problems you might have.

GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room without windows, but when I checked in, the front desk lady upgraded me to a family room for free. It has an extra-large double bed and a single bed. The room is large and well decorated. It is very close to Xi'an Road subway station. The price/performance ratio is great. I will stay here again next time. I highly recommend it.
