Probably the best hotel I’ve stayed with top notch services. Room is clean and comfortable. Staff are attentive and helpful in all ways, from doing our laundry to collecting/opening my taobao parcels, they have exceeded my expectation each time we engage. Would definitely be back here if I am in Suzhou again.

I had a pleasant stay at Mercure Hotel Shilu Shantang Street. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the highlights of my stay was the free laundry service provided, which added great convenience. The overall environment of the hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. While there were moments when the wait for the elevator was a bit longer than expected, it did not affect my enjoyment of the stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, thoughtful amenities, and cozy atmosphere. 我在苏州石路山塘街美居酒店的入住体验非常愉快。酒店的工作人员非常友好热情，总是面带微笑，随时准备提供帮助。让我印象深刻的是酒店还提供免费的洗衣服务，非常方便。 整体环境干净、现代又舒适，是一天外出后放松身心的好地方。虽然有时候等电梯的时间稍微长了一点，但并没有影响我在这里的入住心情。 总体来说，我非常推荐这家酒店，无论是出色的服务、贴心的设施还是舒适的氛围都让人满意。如果有机会，我一定会再次入住。

Extremely friendly staff, make us feel at home, located in the center of （观前街）walking street. Breakfast has good selections. Supper clean, We are very happy with our choice of this hotel.

Simple yet beautiful hotel located in a very strategic location. Nearby metro station 临顿路，walking distance to 平江路 and 观前街。Staffs were really helpful. We were given quite a few small toys for our 18-month old, and they also helped us with our luggage. Location is also convenient for Didi car pick-ups. The room is clean, but the table in the room is very light so it toppled/moved very easily when our kid pushed it. The floor in front of the bathroom was a little bit slippery when we have our floor towel, so be extra careful and remove the floor towel elsewhere once everyone finish taking a shower. Electrical outlets were not universal, but the hotel has converters we could borrow. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

The service was super good! 💯👍🏻don’t worry about bringing big luggages even they don’t have elevator. the staff will immediately carry your luggages without u even asking them. They also help us to book a car to shanghai. About the room, i suggest you to try their biggest room! so spacious, the interior is absolutely stunning with the balcon area which has LED screen. My family and i will definitely come back if we travel again to suzhou!😆❤️

Everything was really fantastic about this hotel. Excellent location, smack in the middle of Guanqian Street. Hotel is very new, super clean, and corridors are well ventilated with refreshing scented freshener / deodorizer. Housekeeping staffs are extremely good and more than willing to provide extra bottles of mineral water when requested. Breakfast is also highly recommended as the spread and variety of food is very adequate. Highly recommended hotel!!!

The gated hotel is a co-op made up of restored and new buildings, a restaurant, and a spa, but nothing over 3 stories. There are numerous restaurants once you leave the grounds -- go west. Get the breakfast buffet, it is worth it! The tourist center is a block west and next to the Grand Canal. Go there, and ask the nice young lady how to get around. The hotel will give you change for the bus. The police and information will help you in the metro. Be sure to walk up and down the canal, enjoy people watching, especially the young ladies dressed and made up in beautiful period piece costumes. You can rent one yourself if you wish to participate. Most of the tourist sights are within walking distance, including the Humble Administer's Garden and the sanpan ride on the canal. The hotel also has a nightly cruise sign up. If you want to see a panda, you'll have to go to the Taihu Wetland Park -- it's about 30 km from the hotel. You can get there by cab or public transportation.

Friends came to play from other places and wanted to book a convenient meal near Guanqian Street, but the result exceeded expectations. It is very close to Guanqian Street and the subway station. It is clean and comfortable. The paper towels and hand sanitizer are branded. The toilet is equipped with a special disposable toilet cover. The water replenishment in the refrigerator in the room is very timely. There is a laundry room and a small snack car downstairs. In the early morning, the TV was not well adjusted. The front desk also let the master adjust it in time; the design of the room was very exquisite, and it could be seen that the store was very careful to operate, the service was very thoughtful, and I will come next time.

Biggest highlight of this hotel is the awesome staff (both reception and roomcleaning), who were very pleasant, like another guest commented, they welcomed each guest with tea and a hot towel and greeted every time with a bow, also they rushed to open the door every time (this amount effort I didnt even experienced in european 5* hotels). As a German/EU visitor the passport registration worked flawlessly. The room itself was clean and had above average amenities. The location was not far from the Metro and shopping passage and is also surrounded by restaurants, shops and cafes. 5/5 I would definitely book here again if I might visit in Suzhou in the future.

The room was booked temporarily. There are more than a dozen Atour hotels in Suzhou. I chose the one with the latest renovation. I checked in on Christmas Eve. The front desk gave me two beautifully packaged apples. There is an underground parking lot downstairs. It is clean and bright. The elevator goes directly to the first floor, which is the hotel lobby. There is a study on the first floor, and the Atour bedding exhibition area, as well as a restaurant. The backyard is a simple garden landscape. Although it was newly renovated this year, it does not have any smell. The room is relatively large, the layout is reasonable, and the details are well designed. The overall style is what I like. When the TV is turned on, Atour's own documentary is on. There is also a brand introduction on the drinking water. The bathrobes are all individually sealed. There are white porridge and pumpkin porridge for late night porridge, as well as steamed buns and dumplings. The porridge is delicious. There is nothing special about breakfast. The restaurant is a sunken space. I like this space. In short, if it is the same price, I would prefer Atour.
