"This hotel is truly fantastic! The check-in experience was superb, with attentive and detailed service. The room was clean and tidy, and well-equipped with amenities like a washer-dryer combo and a microwave. It was also incredibly quiet, and the soft bed was very comfortable, with two pillow options to choose from. There's even a terrace on the second floor where you can enjoy tea or dry clothes. The location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside, and the subway station is just a five-minute walk away, making it only about ten minutes to Guanqian Street. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money and is an exceptional choice for any trip. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance! Highly recommend it to everyone!"

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful Chinese New Year holiday at this hotel. The decorations were perfect for taking photos, and the service was thoughtful and warm. The security guard at the entrance even kindly told us about the shuttle bus to the ancient town and gave lollipops to the kids! The lantern show at Daguan Garden was absolutely stunning at night. Since there weren't many people, the kids had a blast running around the corridors. The complimentary travel photoshoot was great value for money, though posed shots aren't really suitable for young children, especially with two of them – props to the photographer for his patience! 😂 The Chinese New Year activities in the lobby were very entertaining. The indoor and outdoor kids' play areas, though not huge, kept the little ones occupied for a while. The heated pool's water was a bit cool, which could be improved. Overall, it's a great resort for families with both elderly parents and young children, and I noticed a surprisingly high number of seniors among the guests! 😝

FFalvbenThe hotel breakfast isn't expensive, and the variety is pretty decent with plenty of meat dishes. Within 1km, there's the 'Su Run Chao' supermarket, and in the other direction, you'll find the 'Sands Ocean' Outlets, a large shopping mall with many dining options. Overall, this apartment hotel is surrounded by wide, quiet roads. In your free time, you can take a stroll by Suzhou Bay. It's truly refreshing to spend your vacation here.

Ccycat20The Four Seasons Suzhou is, without a doubt, the pinnacle of hotels in China in my opinion. It's located in the prime Jinji Lake CBD, a truly expensive area, yet it's built entirely to resort standards, with low-rise buildings and abundant greenery everywhere you look. I don't think there's another hotel in the entire country that meets this standard right now. The hotel's decor and design are grand yet understated, a blend of Eastern and Western aesthetics, with every corner being photo-worthy. From the front of the main building, you can see the Gate of the Orient to the left and the Cultural Center to the right, capturing the most beautiful skyline on both sides of Jinji Lake. Even the standard rooms are a spacious 55 square meters, and the bedding and toiletries are incredibly comfortable to the touch. Both the breakfast restaurant and the Chinese restaurant use high-quality ingredients and serve exquisite, delicious food. In addition to a standard gym, spa, and two swimming pools (the outdoor one offers a fantastic view directly facing the Gate of the Orient), the hotel also provides travel photography services, bicycle rentals, and a children's activity center with classes. A family could easily spend 24 hours here and not get bored. In summary, while the Four Seasons Suzhou is 100% more expensive than thousand-yuan luxury hotels or popular B&Bs, the overall experience is definitely more than 200% better, making it truly good value for money (they occasionally have special packages). If your budget allows, I genuinely recommend staying here for a night.

GGuest UserFacilities: The overall layout is quite good, with excellent greenery and ample space. It's lovely to take a walk along the lake. The Taihu Lake view and water quality are decent. Hygiene: The public areas could use some improvement; it seems there isn't a dedicated cleaner for them. However, the room's hygiene was quite good. Breakfast: Too many people! The variety is quite rich, but it gets incredibly crowded during holidays. Hot Springs: Soaking in the hot springs at night was great because you can't see much. During the day, they were closed in the morning due to a lawn wedding happening outside. Swimming Pool: The temperature was fine, but the shower areas need better hygiene. Kids' Area: I recommend adding a sandpit or some non-powered play equipment to keep kids entertained longer. Butler Service: Ella was excellent! Our room had mosquitoes, and she immediately brought mosquito repellent. Her service was very attentive.

AAdairMy stay at Jinke Grand Hotel during the Labour Holiday was a great experience, especially considering the price. It was very cost-effective, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities offered at such an affordable rate. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view and even a bathtub, which was a great bonus. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which added to the overall experience. The location is very convenient. It is within walking distance of Suzhou North Railway Station, making it easy to get around. It is also about a 20-minutes trip to nearby malls and Western restaurants, which was perfect for me. The service was excellent. The staff were professional, polite, and very helpful. I especially appreciated that they spoke both English and Mandarin, which made communication smooth and easy. The only downside was the breakfast selection. While it was decent, I do wish there were more Western-style options, particularly when it comes to meat choices. Overall, I had a very good stay and would definitely recommend Jinke Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in a convenient location.

GGuest UserI rarely leave bad reviews for hotels or guesthouses on Ctrip, and this hotel's front desk service was excellent. The staff were incredibly patient in helping me with deliveries and carrying my belongings, which made me feel it was worth the money. However, on the first day of our stay, an elderly family member fell on a ramp on the fourth floor. Do you understand what it means for someone over seventy to fall squarely on a ramp? Their hips, lower back, elbows, and even bones are fragile. I noticed there were warning signs next to the stairs, but none at the ramp! Also, on the evening of the 24th, around 9 PM, the key cards for both our rooms were deactivated, preventing us from entering. Although someone came to open the door about ten minutes later, my seventy-something-year-old family member had to stand in the hallway for nearly ten minutes. Why would the key cards suddenly stop working before the check-out time? Was it a mistake in the check-in process, or something else? I don't know. The hotel staff who helped with our luggage brought Red Flower Oil and Hao De Kuai spray immediately, but the elder's elbow was grazed and bleeding, so the spray couldn't be used. After that, no one else came to follow up. Based on these two points alone, I can only say that paying over 10,000 for this stay felt like a very high price.

AAnonymous UserThis place is fantastic! The room is huge, with a living room and kitchen downstairs, and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs (there's also a separate toilet downstairs). It could easily accommodate four people with plenty of space to spare! Outside, there's a massive cold plunge pool and a hot tub. The hot tub is kept warm 24/7, making it incredibly relaxing to soak in! If you come in the summer, you'd be able to swim in the cold pool. 😆 The hotel also offers a variety of free activities, including kayaks. The private waterfront access provides an absolutely stunning spot to watch the sunrise! And if you visit in the summer, you might even get to see the lotus flowers blooming. The shuttle service staff were super friendly and helpful. Our housekeepers, Nancy and Tommy, were also great, providing excellent and prompt service via WeChat. Thank you all! However, the breakfast was a bit too simple compared to the price of the stay.

DdyhxThe hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

GGuest UserBanyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!
