Hot Spring Hotels in Suzhou

The guesthouse is located on Hengshan Island, and you can drive directly onto the island. You need to change into slippers upon entering, and the hygiene is excellent. The rooms have a Japanese style, and stepping inside is breathtaking—the huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a terrace facing the mountains and sea, offering panoramic views of sunrises, sunsets, and a sky full of stars—simply romantic! The private hot spring bath is also very comfortable. The rooms are well-heated, and the butler service is exceptionally attentive, promptly resolving any issues and even enthusiastically recommending renting tricycles on the island, which would be great fun for families with children. It's a perfect place to relax and unwind; I'd definitely come back again.

The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the service was very responsive to our needs. The hot springs were a perfect 100 out of 100! They also have a kids' play area and a heated pool. I especially want to commend our butler, Jinx. Due to the high occupancy during the Dragon Boat Festival, all the baby bed rails were taken. Having stayed in many five-star hotels, this isn't the first time I've encountered this situation, so I was prepared to give up. However, Jinx was the first hotel staff member I've ever met who actually went out of her way to coordinate and find a bed rail for us. She truly embodies putting the guest first and made us feel right at home. The hotel's facilities and surrounding environment are very chill, making it perfect for a weekend staycation from Shanghai! We'll definitely be back.

Banyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!

This is a pretty standard resort hotel, quite suitable for families with children coming from Shanghai during the summer. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's generally well-maintained, and the pool is excellent. It's really comfortable to relax at the hotel in such hot weather. Lately, many new high-star hotels have opened within a one-hour drive in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, making the competition fierce. Therefore, Le Méridien's weekday pre-sale package offers great value for money, with a room for 700 including breakfast for two, and usually a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room upon arrival, plus an extra breakfast for a child. The hotel's service is generally up to five-star standards, but the quality of the breakfast doesn't quite match the Le Méridien brand.

Totally recommend this amazing place . The service was on top level. Nature & mountains give you feeling of sweet escape from megapolis. The view during breakfast is makes you feel peaceful & calm. Totally recharged our batteries. Hot Springs you need to pay separately but it makes sense. Special thanks to the administration of hotel , the lady surrounded us with all kinds of help so we can feel totally safe even we don’t speak Chinese

The hotel has its own onsen area that's open to non-hotel guests. So the entrance starts with the shoe cabinets before reaching the front desk that serves both onsen day-use guests and hotel guests. The Japanese themed room was luxurious. Very clean and impeccably maintained, good sound proofing I could hear a pin drop in the room. Double basins, Dyson hair dryer, bidet toilet bowl, standing shower and a huge zen sofa couch area by the window, complete with tea and chess set. Pity there's not much of a view out there. There's also no phone here, just a speaker by the bedside table or one can use WeChat to communicate with the front desk and of course robot deliveries. Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking. Service is excellent and they even provide turn down service. I left the room for onsen and came back to a room where the curtains are drawn, a plate of fruits on the table, floor towel laid out in the shower area with the bath towel, originally under the basin, now hung on the door of the shower. The stay package came with an Afternoon Tea set of fruits, desserts and crackers. The cheesecakes were meh but the pineapple tart made up for it. Fruits were fresh and yums. In-house guests were given unlimited access to the Onsen and I took my time to enjoy it fully. It's a full Jap style onsen, meaning going fully naked. A rather small onsen with just 3 pools but the outdoor one was the best, soaking in 43 degrees pool in the cold. There's a chill out area outside including a lounge, meditation room and a movie-cum-reading room (what an irony though). They also have private onsen rooms for rent at additional costs. Leisurely breakfast the next morning at 930am. Yes, I had to choose a specific hour to be at breakfast as it's a Jap bento set with a partial buffet (of noodles and porridge). Not outstanding for me. But otherwise, it was 5* experience and I recommend this to anyone planning to come to Taicang to experience the onsen.

An absolutely exceptional hotel experience, made truly unforgettable by the extraordinary level of service and dedication of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to every detail. The entire team went far beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a hotel staff. A very special mention must go to Kong Chengjie, whose help was simply extraordinary. I had accidentally dropped my phone into a river and had almost given up any hope of finding it. Kong Chengjie meticulously reconstructed all of our movements and the places we had visited, carefully working out where the phone might have been lost. Thanks to his incredible determination, patience, and attention to detail, he actually managed to recover my phone from the river. This was far more than excellent customer service — it was an extraordinary act of dedication and genuine care that I will never forget. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The facilities and overall experience are excellent, but it is the people who truly make this place exceptional. My deepest thanks to the entire team, and especially to Kong Chengjie, for turning a potentially disastrous situation into an unforgettable example of outstanding hospitality. Without hesitation, one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Highly recommended! Btw: I have extended my Booking for 4 days in this hotel!

The hotel was located at the lake with an amazing view. The rooms was really nice and super clean and the mattress was really comfortable to sleep very well. The facility of the hotel was nice and very stylish, all in white and modern. The hotel was really lovely. The only thing that is really not good organised, there is no food except breakfast and afternoon tea (in that case fruits). We needed to order from a delivery service (only Chinese food available and it's was not really good). A hotel located at that wonderful place with that high price should have basic foods at the restaurant.

Open the door and be cured by the whole Taihu Lake. The pure white ins wind is a three-story single-family house. The large flat lawn is a happy world for children. Bring a bubble machine and a small tent. The baby can run crazy on the grass for an afternoon. Each room has its own large bathtub near the window, disposable bath sets are complete, take a bath with your baby before going to bed to see the night on the lake; you don't have to get up early in the morning, you can bump into the sunrise of Taihu Lake when you lie on the bed, and the mist is particularly gentle.

The weather is getting colder, so it's time to soak in the hot springs! The hotel faces Taihu Lake, the air is fresh, and the view is amazing. The hotel service is also excellent; staff contacted us in advance to ask about our check-in time and number of guests. Because we were traveling with a child, they thoughtfully upgraded us to a family suite. The room was large and spacious, and had two bathrooms, which was very convenient for families. A special thank you to Xiao Liu at the front desk for her attentive and patient service over the past two days, and also to the housekeeping staff for keeping the place spotless. Nanxun Ancient Town is about 10 kilometers from the hotel, so you can drive there for a stroll.
