Hotels near Wenjian Mountain in Taipei

We stayed in the Kirin extension of the hotel, which offers a big balcony with a view of Taipei’s night sky. The extension is quieter compared to the main building and has a Family Mart on the ground level, offering a wide selection of delicious microwaveable ready meals. Not keen to eat in brightly lit and busy restaurants, we decided to have a private meal from Family Mart on the balcony with a city view. All in all, it was very enjoyable stay!

Pretty decent location and condition for this price. The only defect is probably the check-in procedure. The first step is to contact the staff via Line, which the QR code is above the number lock at the entrance and I saw a couple of people not being aware of it, then provide with them a photo of your passport. After that, you’ll get two sets of passcodes, one for the main entrance and another one for the box storing your keycards. The procedure is alright if you understand written Chinese, and preferably speak Mandarin, but definitely hard if you are neither.

The location hits the spot for your night market experience! Got all the works as with a large scale hotel establishment. Stick with the actual address of the place when searching for it as you won't see a physical signage of west.inn 48. The only downside is we already called to inform of our arrival, only to find out that there's no luggage storage available when we arrived at the place in the morning -- there were several other guests that had the same issue so make sure to make other plans & don't arrive earlier than the check in time. It's a self check-in & check-out process. Will surely recommend this place with the reminder to NOT arrive earlier than check-in time.

I stayed at Yusense Hotel for my mandatory quarantine during November 2021. The room was super clean, essentially spotless - a real comfort to see during Covid times. The room was spacious, with enough floor area to exercise. The room's mountain view immediately put me at peace, which was much needed as quarantine/isolation can really put one's mood down. The room got plenty of sunlight as well - another source of mood booster. On service - one might think service might not be important during quarantine given you're locked up 24/7, but if you've quarantined before, you'll know it's crucial - hotel staff did an outstanding job - from promptly responding to my requests, to customizing my meal plan for my dietary restrictions, to quickly getting my Foodpanda deliveries from the front desk to the doorstep of my room. The hotel staff was extremely attentive and responsive and I'm really thankful to them for that. The meal plan was well thought out, fruits were provided as part of the meals daily, and the occasional surprise afternoon tea/cakes were a delight. Only negatives I'd say is that the room windows were a bit too reflective at night, and, and for my own personal preference, there wasn't enough room lighting during the night hours (natural lighting during the day was great), however the hotel was happy to provide extra lamps upon request. This hotel really had it all to make my quarantine stay more pleasant.

Generally, I don’t choose youth hostel accommodation when I go out. Considering that accommodation costs in Taipei are generally high, and I leave early and come back late every day, the actual time in the room is very short, so I stayed here once. It was also my first time staying in a youth hostel. . The overall condition of the public bathroom is quite clean. If it is a girls' bathroom, there is a special access control. There will be almost no services during the stay, so there is nothing to comment on.

I love this hotel for the location and especially a lot of going on nearby the hotel. I happened to come across good bakery and 24 hour 7-11 which is quite good. The bathroom is really cleaned and equipped with the bath tub.

Room: The theme of the room I stayed in was Fantasyland. The room decoration was very fashionable and had a romantic atmosphere. The equipment was complete and the maintenance was pretty good. The housekeeping staff was very attentive and the room was cleaned very clean. The room was also very quiet. Although you can occasionally hear the sound of wall collisions, the impact is not big. The bed is very big and it is very comfortable to sleep on. When you see the carousel, you can't help but pretend to be an Internet celebrity and take pictures. Overall, I am very satisfied and will look forward to staying again. Parking: There is a garage and parking is very convenient. There is an MRT station nearby. The transportation is very convenient and the functionality is good. Bathroom: The jacuzzi in the room is quite large, with colorful lights and a good atmosphere. Taking a bath is particularly relaxing. There is also a steam device in the shower room where you can enjoy sweating and promote smooth metabolism. Although the tap of the water is very obvious when the faucet is turned on, it is also very relaxing. It's within the acceptable range. The bath supplies prepared in addition are very carefully prepared and packaged with great care. They are very high-quality. Breakfast: I arrived late, but the service staff was very kind. Chinese and Western breakfast, a variety of meals, the meals were neatly and cleanly arranged, and the table was always kept tidy and tidy. Great location within 3 minutes walk of a subway station, with lots of good restaurants such as LAKSA (delicious chicken curry and braised pork rice dishes!) in the local neighborhood. Also close enough to cheap homestyle ********* foods such as oyster congee and xiaolongbao soup dumplings at 2 different night markets (Ningxia is bigger and farther away than Shuangcheng). Clean room with lots of space for 3 people and big bathroom, with a very good water pressure in the shower. Weak wifi signal though, so it keeps dropping. Helpful and nice people at the reception desk, but it doesn’t have anyone after 10:30pm so you just use a keycard to enter the hotel late at night.

I stayed in room 205. The light closest to the TV was malfunctioning and kept flickering. The bathroom door could not be locked. I hope the industry can take care of it in the future. There are a lot of ants on the table. There was a machine running in the room that sounded like it was coming from the ceiling. People who are sensitive to noise may want to consider this. Check-in time is very early, you can check in at 15:00. There are attached tea bags and a quick-boil pot, as well as a refrigerator for use. Overall, the CP value is high.

Cheap and high cp value! Even after staying for five consecutive days, towels were changed and bed sheets were laid out! The bathroom is clean and the water pressure is sufficient, but the sound insulation is a little lacking! But it does not affect the overall evaluation
