Many hotels were full during the Takayama Festival, so the triple room we booked was the largest in the hotel but also very small (there were actually two toilets), but fortunately there was only one suitcase. The breakfast room on the first floor was also very exquisite, and the breakfast was also OK.

The room is super small, the hygiene level is average, and there are no programs on the TV.

Although there are local one-day tours that can go to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. But I was pressed for time and didn’t want to spend the whole day just looking around, so I planned a 3-day and 2-night trip to Takayama, with one day in between to go to Shirakawa-go. Since it was convenient to take the Nohi bus, I chose a hotel near the station. Advantages: The location is convenient, 5 minutes from the station, 7 minutes from Takayama Jinya, and 12 minutes' walk from Miyagawa Morning Market. The hotel includes a buffet breakfast (not many types but filling), free coffee soda in the afternoon, and a free mini bar in the evening. To be honest, there are hotels and free bars that I don’t need to buy wine glasses to drink in Gaoshan Old Street. Disadvantages: There are not many programs that can be selected on the TV in the room. When I go back to the hotel at night, I can only watch my mobile phone. The TV only receives a few local radio programs. The room was dark and there was insufficient light. The room is small and there are not many places to store items.
