Hotel Valldemossa - New Opening 2024

This is a gorgeous hotel that has recently been updated under new management and they have done a wonderful job. The buildings and grounds are immaculate. It has great views in all directions and the town of Valldemossa is a short 5 minute walk. The town is quaint and has multiple places to eat as well as a few shops. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, providing great information about the surrounding area, recommendations on restaurants, and nearby activities. The concierge made dinner reservations for us when needed. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-furnished with all necessary amenities. It had a bedroom, separate indoor seating area, and private outdoor terrace. There was plenty of storage for luggage and our personal belongings. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was good. There was coffee in the room and a mini-bar. We did visit the spa (sanctuary) for a massage session which we thought was nice and relaxing. We also spent time at the pool which is peaceful and has plenty of chairs with a mixture of sun and shade. We hope to return to Mallorca and Hotel Valldemossa will certainly be on our list of places to stay.

Unbelievable experience!! We came here on our honeymoon and it’s somewhere we won’t ever forget! On arrival the place is outstanding, it is pure luxury and everything is done to perfection. This hotel is amazing but it was the service that made our honeymoon. When we arrived we were met by Selim at the entrance and as soon as we arrived he was amazing with us. Our stay would not have been as amazing if he wasn’t there. He went above and beyond at every opportunity, just bumping into him around the hotel there was always something he would do for us without asking. The hotel grounds are obviously luxury in itself, but the service Selim provides makes the hotel what it is. Our stay and experience would not have been what it was if it wasn’t for Selim and the staff. So from the Scottish couple on their honeymoon, thanks for making our stay so special Selim!

The Valdemossa Hotel is a romantic place that will provide unforgettable moments for two. The picturesque surroundings, friendly staff, beautifully decorated rooms, exquisite local cuisine, and breathtaking views create an incredibly romantic and relaxing stay. Additionally, the pool and spa are perfect for relaxation and spending quality time together. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway in the style of Romeo and Juliet.

We have stayed twice at the hotel - once in March just a couple of days after the hotel had opened and at the end of April to celebrate our wedding with some of our family and friends. We absolutely loved the hotel as soon as we saw the new decor! It feels very luxurious but still fits in with the rural surroundings. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. All of our family/friends commented on how attentive the staff were, especially those in the restaurant. Maria helped us to plan our stay and we couldn’t thank her more - she is amazing. We would 100% recommend staying here!

This hotel is absolutely amazing! From arriving to leaving the staff was attentive, and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The manager Bianca was incredible and could not do enough for us, and we thank her so much. We had dinner at the restaurant "De Tokio a Lima" both evenings, and we were really impressed by the food AND the great coctails, and of course the view over the mountains. What really took us by suprise was Amor, that is working in the sanctuary! I recommend to have a chat with her arriving here, and you`ll be amazed by her knowledge. We had treatment the day after and I have never in my life had a better treatment. We travel alot, and I`ve been to many, many hotels but this one is different. From my heart. Stunning views, stunning hotel, a few minutes to the town and the staff is 10/10. We are coming back :) Thank you!

Amazing stay - the entire staff was so welcoming. The property was beautiful and an easy walk to Valldemossa town center. Great location for exploring nearby towns and a quick drive to Palma. Our room had a fantastic view overlooking Tramuntana mountains and the gorgeous terraced hillsides. Local wildlife in the neighboring farm - sheep, donkeys, roosters just added to the whole experience. Food was excellent and sipping the unique specialty cocktails of the bartender on the terrace at sunset can't be beat.

Hidden in the midst of the enchanting Tramuntana mountains, and on the doorstep of one of the most solicited villages on the island for its rural beauty, the Valldemossa Hotel exuded elegance and sophistication from inside the Mallorquin walls of this 19th century home. On arrival, the hotel staff were warm, welcoming and extremely attentive, all in all, fabulous hosts. There was a distinct air of efficiency in the sleek ambience that is the Hotel lobby, where a fabulous and eclectic mix of art decorates the original stone walls. The room was so delightful that seduced by our surroundings we opted to eat in. De Tokyo a Lima's food, was exquisite, a fusion a flavours prepared to perfection, and delivered course by course, unlike most hotels which deliver all the dishes at once. The highlight of our stay was opting to visit the Hotel's "Sanctuary", the spa and treatments area run by Amor Garzon. Her professionalism and knowledge combined was an epiphany of pure magic. Amor managed to accommodate and treat simultaneously myself and my husband, on our overnight stay on two occasions, the eve of our arrival and the morning of our departure... it was that good we went back for more! Her wisdom and awareness of how to heal became apparent within minutes of meeting her. She was astute with her assessment and her treatments included both modern machinery, as well as ancient rituals and techniques. On both occasions we left feeling thoroughly relaxed and immensely grateful that she had found the time to accommodate us. I highly recommend that you indulge yourself or your loved ones with a stay at this haven of natural beauty and finesse!

I was disappointed when I couldn’t get a reservation at the famous Belmond hotel, La Residencia, in Deia, for our recent vacation on Mallorca. I reserved a 5-star alternative nearby on the beautiful hills of Valldemossa. Wow. It is newly opened in March of 2024 and it blew me away with its architecture, surroundings and incredible service. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and seemed HAPPY to be there, unlike staff at other highly regarded 5-star stays. It is perfectly nestled into its peaceful environs, is a 5-minute walk to the cutest Spanish town, offers GORGEOUS patio views and sunshine with its unrivaled breakfast (which was complimentary with my room. What??! 🤩 even the mimosas were included). The pool was gorgeous in the style of a traditional villa, and they offer guests the opportunity to reserve a private sauna and plunge pool as part of their stay. Our room (considered its most basic/least expensive option) was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a private patio that was peaceful and cozy with flowering vines and sweet lights. When we went to see Deia (and La Residencia… I had to see what we were missing) I found that we had the better arrangement. There were no signs of life in Deia and the famous Belmond hotel looked tired by comparison. Last word on this rave review…we encountered two inconveniences during our vacation: our luggage was lost by the airline and I accidentally booked nonrefundable theater tickets for the wrong time. Our service staff resolved everything while I was still napping at the pool! Highly recommend this hotel ❤️
