"On a whim, I booked the hotel the night before check-in. The price of more than 290 Hong Kong dollars including tax and the windows can be said to be very worthwhile. It is within ten yuan by taxi from Xiamen Station, and you can also walk for about 20 minutes. The room is basically clean and quiet , There is also a response when I call to inquire about wifi. The bad thing is that the TV can’t be turned on, but I don’t care. I just want to turn it on for background sound. The hotel also costs more than three or four hundred every minute and has no windows. In the end, Xiaofu at the front desk was very helpful and arranged a room for me when I arrived after one o'clock."

"I stayed in a twin room, and the bed was very comfortable! The room was clean and tidy, and the warm yellow color was cozy and comfortable. When we checked in, the front desk lady also helped us take our luggage and sent us to the door of the room. She also introduced the surrounding special snacks and attractions to you. In addition, the hotel is equipped with a gym and swimming pool! The lobby is very large, which is really great. Nearby are the One Country Two Systems Beach and Guanyinshan Beach. It is very small and not very crowded. The scenery is great!"

"This hotel is a paradise for fishermen. There is a lake right outside the back door. The only drawback is that it is under renovation and I was woken up at nine in the morning. I suggest that the hotel inform me when booking the room instead of informing me after entering the room. Fortunately, I didn't plan to sleep until I woke up naturally this time, otherwise my mood would definitely be affected."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and noted several points of interest. The architecture, combined with the greenery, is reminiscent of southern European resorts. The rooms were clean and adequately spacious. However, I found the lack of chairs on the balconies inconvenient. Additionally, there were no electrical plugs near the bed, an upgrade that would be beneficial by 2024. The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk to the beach. The pool area seemed well-maintained, though the requirement to wear hats was unexpected. The staff were friendly and professional, adding a positive note to the stay. While there are areas for improvement, the overall experience was satisfactory. 我最近住在这家酒店，注意到了几个值得注意的地方。这里的建筑与绿植相结合，让人想起南欧的度假胜地。房间干净宽敞。然而，我发现阳台上没有椅子，很不方便。此外，床边没有电源插头，到 2024 年，这将是一项有益的升级。酒店位置便利，步行不远即可到达海滩。泳池区似乎维护得很好，不过戴帽子的要求是意料之外的。工作人员友好而专业，为住宿增添了积极的气氛。虽然还有需要改进的地方，但总体体验令人满意。"

"The place is clean. There is an elevator. You can enter from escalator of zhongshan road or from behind and use their elevator. The lobby is at 2nd floor. They clean everyday and provide toothbrush, slippers and other ammenities. It’s in the middle of zongshan road. Taxi to and from airport only costs 40-45rmb which is very affordable. A lot of food beside it and souvenir shops. I only walked to 8th market and shapowei… If you don’t like walking, you can ride a taxi. Train is also near. I only spent 5rmb to go to jimei village via their train."

"The jshare stay was very pleasant. As soon as I stepped into the yard, I was amazed by the Chinese courtyard in southern Anhui. I entered the lobby on the first floor and found that it was a Memphis-style living room. Every corner was hidden ingenuity, and I made a film. I thought that such a high-quality homestay would inevitably be noisy. I didn't expect it to be quiet like a paradise. At night, I could hear the insects outside the window. I closed the blackout curtains and slept until I woke up naturally, completely curing my urban anxiety. What is more touching is the service of the homestay, from the warmly handed over special tea at the front desk, to the fruit of the people, to the supper service, as well as intimate nutrition tablets and ice dressing tablets, every detail is full of temperature. The staff also intimately recommended the surrounding non-net red food, avoiding the crowd to enjoy a pleasant time. Already looking forward to the next stay, I highly recommend it to all friends who want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy quality travel."

"The whole hotel is in medieval style, very elegant and luxurious. The sea is just outside the door, and it is very comfortable to take a walk. The service is so considerate. Our earphones were lost, and they even helped us find them in the grass by the roadside. We searched for them for several times but couldn't find them. 😂 In the morning, we had a rich breakfast like the one in the picture, and the snacks were very Xiamen-style. They also prepared sweet soup for us every night, and fresh fruits every day. It was really a perfect stay experience and I will definitely recommend it to my friends!"

It is my favorite house I have stayed in during my one-month trip to the south. We can see the small courtyard of this store on Sunlight Rock. There is a swimming pool. "The room is spacious and comfortable. It has the white brick walls that I like, a simple Nordic style. It is very quiet at night and I sleep soundly. The boss is a gentle guy. He provides thoughtful and considerate service. He is good at chatting and has a nice voice, haha. There is a large courtyard and a cafe here. It is very pleasant to have breakfast here and bask in the sun while drinking coffee. The bougainvillea in the yard is very beautiful, and the lighting at night is also very atmospheric. The boss is very good at decoration, and many people take photos. It's really a great photo. In short, the experience is very good. It's just a short walk from Sanqiutian Wharf to the most beautiful corner. It's highly recommended."

GGuest UserDuplex room, two bedrooms upstairs do not disturb each other, downstairs living room, dining room, balcony, kitchen and bathroom, everything is available, enough for a family of three. There is a cleaning service every day, water and other supplies are replenished every day, it is very good to have heating in winter, the housekeeper service is very good, and a nut gift box was given on New Year's Eve. The location is very good, close to the airport, surrounded by new office buildings and commercial facilities, the environment is very good, there is a food court, McDonald's, 24-hour convenience store downstairs, and Wanda Plaza and food street nearby, more than ten minutes walk. It is very convenient to take a taxi, and it is not far from various attractions on the island. You can see the sunrise from the balcony in the morning.

GGuest UserYiju Hotel is beyond our expectations. The room was beautifully presented, and the staff there was polite and helpful. The afternoon tea on the rooftop was very memorable, and the staff took family photos for us. He sent them to us by WeChat and printed a few of them out. No effort was spared - on the envelope was a message in English as he realised my husband doesn't speak Chinese. Breakfast was again beautifully presented in the quaint courtyard. They helped us register to see the Baguo Building - we had no idea we have to pre-register. They helped bring our luggage down to town upon check out and gave us a lunch recommendation, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I am truly thankful for the level of service they have extended and I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering personalized recommendations and prompt assistance whenever needed. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities that made my stay incredibly relaxing. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The staff also kindly gave me breakfast coupons. The breakfast was delicious and vairous. They change the menu everyday and provide the specialties of Xiamen. Overall, my experience was nothing short of outstanding, and I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Xiamen. Highly recommend!!!

GGuest UserFirst of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

RRam KondaAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

EEevveeccThe location is excellent. Not too far from the main shopping belt and close proximity to train station, shopping mall, food and shopping. Excellent service by hotel. Good amenities with gym, pool and love the self service laundry with thoughtful addition of steamer. The washing machine does not come with detergent but they have a kiosk that you can purchase. The room is good. Bed firmness just nice. Pillow too soft. But they able to provide buckwheat pillow. Service was very fast. Only thing I didn't like is that the air con vent is old and have a light rattling sound throughout the night. I had to put on a ear plug to sleep. I am a light sleeper. But my husband slept well without issue. TV channel selection all locals and international news channel. Choices are limited. Reputable hotel. Happy to stay again. Special mention to Lucy from housekeeping who checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. I requested to change room because the first room smelled bad and they promptly changed for me.

GGuest UserReally grateful for the free airport pickup. Added their number to my wechat and called them using wechat. Was given directions where to be picked up and asked to send a picture of how I look like. waited at the pickup point and even message them at exactly which location I'm at. Received a call later to ask where am I and also messaged me the car plate number. As the pickup point only allow 8mins of wait time, the driver was pretty pissed when I arrived. I mean, couldn't you have sent a picture of the car and the car plate number earlier? Driver was smoking all the way while driving and I'm unfortunately seated behind him, breathing in all his smelly smoke. He opened his window but that didn't help, the wind has kept blowing the smoke into my face. Luckily it was a short drive. I feel that the hotel should educate their drivers not to smoke while driving. This is so selfish. I got upgraded to a bigger room because they wanted me to give a good review. My room has a big window with the street view. Room was clean and nice. Slippers given. Toilet was badly designed. the shower head faces the toilet bowl and the sewage system is not good. After showering, the toilet flooded. I only realised the next morning that there are some buttons that you can switch on for ventilation in the toilet. The toilet was still flooded in the morning but I think if I have known about the buttons earlier, it would have been dried in the morning. The buttons are in chinese characters. Ask for help to decipher them. The room has a projector but nothing was watchable. You need to have accounts to sign on to their various content provider. The hotel is near a small street market with awesome and cheap food. There was also some supermarkets opened late into the night. Cannot expect much from sound proofing as dead into the night, you can still hear food delivery rider delivering their food to occupants. The driver in the morning did not smoke but when I told him that nobody asked me which terminal I'm going to, he insisted that it is impossible for them not to ask. I also cannot be bothered to argue. Why would I sabotage my own departure plans? Suggest that before the driver drives off, stressed which terminal you are going to. Terminal 3 for International flights, Terminal 4 for domestic flights. And they are not close to one another apparently. Otherwise, the bed was quite comfy. The socket above the bedside table is almost falling off the wall.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located in Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, close to the seaside and very close to the ferry terminal. The location and environment are absolutely first-class, and the price is also beautiful, so overall it's good.
