We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. While it wasn’t anything fancy, the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the property had a tremendous amount of charm. Breakfast could have been a little more extensive, but the food was fine, and the dinner we had at the restaurant was quite good. This hotel was a little out of the way, but after seeing the ‘city centre’ we far preferred this walk out of the way than staying in the dusty centre of Urubamba.

The twin room had 3 double beds and was massive. It was clean and good quality. We arrived in the dark and did not appreciate the surroundings. It is lovely with hills to look out on. Breakfast starts at 5am as most people go on tours and of course Macho Picchu and start early. Ate in the Italian and main restaurant all food and service very good. Breakfast has a nice omelette bar. We went outside our tour to visit some attractions and then onto our next stop. It was no trouble and worked seamlessly. Wished we had more time here.

We are a family of four traveling with 2 young adult children. We spent two nights at the Amaru Valle Hotel in July 2022. What a magical, fairy-tale like place! There are around 30 accomodations in a series of alpine style buildings scattered across the grounds. Ours was perfect - four beds in a spacious room with a view of the mountains and a very nice bathroom. The grounds are lovely with gardens, cobblestones, and views of the mountains. The staff so friendly and helpful. A lovely breakfast of eggs, bread, fresh fruit and coffee/tea is included. The place is located a short 8 - 10 minute walk from town housed behind a large wooden door. Our room for 4 was very comfortable and reasonable. Highly recommend!

We had as 3 kupfige family 4 wonderful days. The hotel is perfect as the starting location, we were on the road with the car and so could explore all the attractions super. Thanks to the super friendly staff, in special Jorge who spoke perfectly English and was very sympathetic and too prevalent. We got all the information and tips we needed. I stayed at Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado for two nights during a Road Scholar trip. The room was comfortable, breakfast superb, and staff friendly and courteous. A special shout out to Nilson for helping navigate checkout and the lady bartender who helped me open a tricky plastic bottle of distilled water, needed for a medical device.
