Stunning property with large airy public areas and beautiful gardens on the river. The rooms are spacious and have a generous seating area which we enjoy rather than having to sit on the bed. We enjoyed breakfast and a dinner in the restaurant, and a casual pizza in the bar and the quality and service were excellent overall. Easy walk into the shopping and restaurant/bar areas of town and the town square. We felt very safe walking around the area and as well as the excellent restaurant at the hotel, there were lots of local dining opportunities close by. Highly recommend this hotel

Amazing place in Urubamba! I rested here for two nights and wouldn’t wish for anything more. The room was very comfortable with big bed, tall ceilings, hot shower and two heathers. Breakfast was super yummy and dinner was even better ! Highly recommend to stay here if you are traveling through Sacred Valley (Pisac doesn’t have nice hotels like this and is only 30 min away)

We had as 3 kupfige family 4 wonderful days. The hotel is perfect as the starting location, we were on the road with the car and so could explore all the attractions super. Thanks to the super friendly staff, in special Jorge who spoke perfectly English and was very sympathetic and too prevalent. We got all the information and tips we needed. We are a family of four traveling with 2 young adult children. We spent two nights at the Amaru Valle Hotel in July 2022. What a magical, fairy-tale like place! There are around 30 accomodations in a series of alpine style buildings scattered across the grounds. Ours was perfect - four beds in a spacious room with a view of the mountains and a very nice bathroom. The grounds are lovely with gardens, cobblestones, and views of the mountains. The staff so friendly and helpful. A lovely breakfast of eggs, bread, fresh fruit and coffee/tea is included. The place is located a short 8 - 10 minute walk from town housed behind a large wooden door. Our room for 4 was very comfortable and reasonable. Highly recommend!

This is such a peaceful lodge. There were 3 vendors in the courtyard selling Peruvian items and artwork. There was also a woman weaving the Peruvian cloth. There are a couple of alpacas on the property that they move around the grounds. We had some leftovers from lunch and a worker was so gracious by heating it up for us and providing silverware. The breakfast is awesome. Just walking around the grounds was nice and relaxing. The room was very clean and nice as well. We were able to leave our luggage here since you are not allowed to take more than 1 backpack on the train to Machu Picchu.

Stayed here for one night, the hotel has a lovely reception area and is set in lovely tranquil surroundings. The staff were helpful, friendly and very obliging. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a cosy bed, the downside was the bathroom. The bathroom was dated and in a poor state. The shower was over the bath and the bath was gruby and in need of replacement. The grout around the bath was black with mould. The sink in the bathroom was missing the ”glaze” in many places and again was in need of replacement. The whole bathroom could have done with a total refurbishment. The rooms are set around the grounds and in small bungalow type establishments, which are nice. There are excellent views from the hotel. Breakfast was good with a good variety of things to enjoy. If the bathroom had not been in such a state, this would have been a nice stay.
