The hotel was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our queen room was very spacious, and the bedding was changed daily, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. Whenever we needed assistance, the staff were always quick to help and extremely accommodating. They were especially helpful when we needed directions or transportation, always making sure taxis were arranged for us and that we knew exactly where we were going. The level of service was truly outstanding, and I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. I can’t wait to come back again. A special thank you to Mai and May, who kindly helped my mum and me order takeaway when we couldn’t understand the Chinese app. Your hospitality meant so much to us. Thank you as well to the bellman who helped carry our shopping upstairs and to the gentleman who kindly opened our taxi door — every member of the team was so lovely and attentive. My mum and I were visiting during a stressful trip while buying things for my wedding, but your kindness and support made the experience much easier and far more enjoyable. This stay truly exceeded my expectations! The apartment was clean and tidy overall, with excellent natural light and ventilation. The facilities were complete and new, making them very convenient to use. The location was also super convenient, with all necessary amenities nearby, making getting around a breeze. The host/manager communicated promptly and was friendly, quickly resolving any issues. It was a comfortable and reassuring stay, offering incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time and highly recommend it to everyone!

This beautiful hotel is right next to Akanantara Resort. The room was clean and spacious, and it even had a sea-view balcony with a bathtub! The surrounding scenery was truly stunning, and we appreciated the complimentary drinks and fruit. It's a shame the weather wasn't good enough to catch a gorgeous sunset 🌅. We'll definitely come back with family next time.

Guys, you gotta stay here! The service is great, the rooms are clean and unique, and housekeeping responds super fast with an excellent attitude. Breakfast is also pretty good; I could tell the bacon and sausages were brand-name quality from the first bite.

Facilities: Well-equipped, ready for immediate move-in with all furniture and appliances provided. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, very satisfied with my stay for a business trip. Environment: Good, with convenient dining options nearby. Service: Good, breakfast was decent, and my friends and I had a pleasant stay together.

When I booked, the front desk informed me that there would be some noise due to renovations next door, but they were very welcoming and upgraded my room to one with a balcony and a soaking tub. The room was super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. There's a mini-fridge in the room, and the mini-bar snacks are complimentary. They also gave us breakfast vouchers, and the breakfast was delicious. The views are amazing, and it's super convenient for activities – the beach is right there, and there's a really photogenic cafe. Plus, there's a kids' club and a pet park. The beach has crystal-clear water, like a 'glass sea.' I can't wait to come back in the summer to swim! You could easily spend a whole day and night here. Nearby, there's Egong Bay, which is also worth visiting. Honestly, I think staying two nights wouldn't be a problem at all. I'll definitely be back next time! I do have one small suggestion: the soaking tub isn't very private. It's visible from many angles. It would be even more perfect if the hotel could add a movable screen that guests could use for privacy if needed. 😊

A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered. Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast. Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

Excellent location for business and sightseeing in Shenzhen. I had a very convenient and comfortable stay at Dongyuan Hotel near Shenzhen Grand Theater and Hongling South Subway Station. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the prime location. It is very easy to move around Shenzhen from here, and many markets, shops, restaurants, and business areas are nearby. For a business traveler, the location saves a lot of time, and for tourists it is also a great base to explore the city. The hotel is simple, practical, and good value for money. The reception area was easy to find, and the staff were helpful during check-in. The room had the basic facilities needed for a short stay, and the environment felt convenient for anyone who plans to spend most of the day outside for meetings, shopping, or sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel to business travelers, solo travelers, and tourists who want an affordable place in a central area of Shenzhen. The access to public transport and nearby markets makes it a very practical choice. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider booking again when visiting Shenzhen.
