This was my second stay, and it was just as great as the first. The hotel is right in the Old East Gate scenic area, surrounded by delicious food, and getting around is super convenient. The service attitude is consistently attentive and thoughtful; they're always ready to answer any questions. Since it was late autumn, they even gave me a beautiful autumn leaf artwork when I checked out, which I absolutely loved!

This hotel offers great value for money, and it's super close to Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street, both within walking distance. Parking is available right across the street, and it's free for guests – just let the front desk know when you're leaving. Crossing the small road is pretty convenient too. There's a clothing shop next door with some really beautiful clothes. The front desk staff, a young man, even proactively upgraded our room to a courtyard room on the first floor with a lovely little private yard, which was very comfortable. They also thoughtfully provide small amenities like hair ties and cotton swabs at the front desk. Overall, very considerate!

Highly recommend Antu Hotel! My entire stay was perfect. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and patiently answered all my questions about local transportation, making me feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The facilities were complete and thoughtful, with high-quality toiletries – every detail was well-considered. The hotel's location is convenient for both getting around and finding places to eat, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. It offers excellent value for money, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

This is a great Republic of China-era hotel, tucked away in a quiet spot yet still central. The courtyard is very unique, and the hotel's location is excellent. It's about 800 meters from popular attractions like Geyuan Garden, Heyuan Garden, Dongguan Street, Pishi Street, Dongguan Ancient Ferry, and Xing Street – all within easy reach. There are also plenty of dining options; the famous Erchun Fried Rice is right next door, and old brands like Fuchun Teahouse, Maopailou, and Gonghechun are all nearby. It's incredibly convenient for an after-dinner stroll. The service is excellent, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Located at the entrance of a small alley, it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful. If time permits, brewing a pot of tea and sitting in the courtyard to soak in the 'slow Yangzhou' vibe would be truly delightful!

I booked a king-size room, which was very large, with a separate wet and dry bathroom and a balcony. The breakfast was rich in variety, with both Chinese and Western styles. The hotel is garden-style, and the lotus flowers are blooming beautifully in this season, making for great photos. The hotel's outdoor pool is also very beautiful, and you can experience it with your children. The hotel service is also very good, with enough mineral water in the room, and a housekeeper to greet them attentively. When I left, they also gave me a beautiful notebook. The service was very considerate and the price was very affordable. It is worth staying here next time.
The disposable toilet seat cover was already torn open, and there were no bath towels (I don't remember if the hotel had any environmental protection notes), thankfully I brought my own. After two days and one night, we went back around 7 am after having dim sum, only to find we had to re-enter our room card. Climbing up and down the stairs was tiring, and we had to wait at the front desk for quite a while. There was no one at the front desk to ring a bell to alert us or to display an emergency contact number. Also, the room required climbing stairs, which wasn't clearly indicated on the booking page, making it unfriendly to people with knee problems. Soundproofing was average.
The biggest advantage is its very quiet location amidst the hustle and bustle. Everything is just over a kilometer away, easily accessible by walking through the streets and alleys, perfect for someone like me who likes to stroll around the alleys to digest food. The coffee shop next door, Banshe, is pretty good, but a bit pricey.

The chubby young man at the front desk was incredibly nice and provided excellent service. I was initially worried that the hotel facilities in the old town area might be lacking, but they weren't at all. The room and other amenities were quite new, the shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, and the pet cleaning fee was very reasonable at 50 baht. The only downside was the small road leading into the hotel, which was a bit difficult to navigate, but it was fine once inside the hotel. Parking was convenient; hotel guests get free parking with a parking voucher, and takeout is delivered to your door by a robot.

What an unique experience! Nothing could be more authentic than that! Our room is on the first floor right by the water. We saw many women rowing the gondola boats and serenading beautiful songs to their passengers. We came in a low season, so there wasn’t that much crowd. We could stroll around leisurely to take in all the beautiful sights that this place offers to us. The home stay is operated by a couples. They are so friendly, kind, and always eager to help out, especially the wife (Ms. Chan). The day when we left, she helped us getting a didi ride which is more cheaper than the one we hailed ourselves. The room we stayed in is very unique, it is not super big, but it is very clean and it has everything we needed for the night. All and all, I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Suzhou's ancient charm blends seamlessly with modern trends, and the pet-friendly rooms at the Kimpton Bamboo Grove Suzhou are an absolute haven for pet owners and their beloved companions, offering an exceptionally comfortable stay. Stepping into the room, we were met with delightful surprises: an adorable paw-print key card that was playfully charming, and a personalized welcome card hand-drawn by our butler, Cherry, featuring a lovely picture of our pet, Shuping, and her name. It was such a thoughtful gesture that instantly warmed our hearts. The room amenities for pets were incredibly comprehensive, including pee pads, food and water bowls, a pet bed, a toy ball, and even a dog tent – everything needed to meticulously care for our pet's well-being. The front desk also offers complimentary pet stroller rentals, making outings much more convenient. The pet-friendly courtyard room was spacious, bright, and filled with greenery, providing ample space for our pet to run around and play freely. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly towards pets. Our butler, Cherry, proactively communicated with us beforehand about our pet's habits and needs, providing personalized and thoughtful service that catered to both us and our furry friend throughout our stay. This pet-friendly trip was exceptionally satisfying, and we will definitely prioritize staying here again on our next visit to Suzhou!
I booked the Deluxe Villa Twin Room package, which included entrance tickets. The room was elegant and refined, and both beds were 2 meters wide and very comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. Our butler, Elsa, was very responsive and helpful. She even brought a small cake for a family member's birthday on the day of check-in – a thoughtful touch that made us feel warm and welcome. The hotel grounds are large, so calling for a shuttle 15 minutes in advance was no problem at all; the wait wasn't long. The included ski tickets were also great; I tried skiing. A ski instructor's fee of 450 per hour is a bit expensive; maybe it's better to just ski and take photos on your own?

GGallleyaThis is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel.
Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserBecause it was too late to decide to travel, the room booked was small and remote. The boss was very nice and enthusiastic. I stayed for two nights and directly helped me upgrade one of the bowls of parent-child rooms. There were quilt sheets on the stairs, indicating that I had to change every day. It was very clean. Breakfast had milk, porridge, corn, sweet potatoes. Tea eggs, there is dinner in the evening, we ate for one night, the fish is longer than half of the brother 😄

HHannahThis is such a lovely little homestay! We struggled to find the entrance since Tencent Maps sent us a street over, but after adding them on WeChat they sent us a pin right away and helped us make it (see photo!). The room was clean, well-air-conditioned, well thought out, and we had so much fun with the Japanese toilet!
My chinese is limited to basic conversation only but staff were friendly and the lady at the desk on the day we checked out showed us her newborn kittens! Super super happy all round with this stay!
Note to other guests:
- Taxis will have to drop you a few streets away as much of the old town's streets are too narrow for cars.
- The entrance is right on the canal, not round a corner.
- The door is open at all times, so don't worry if you're back late!

MM252658****First off, the hotel was exceptionally clean, and everything provided showed great attention to detail. The decor was beautiful and unique. The hotel also has its own restaurant, which offers delicious food at great prices. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.
SSCTan (Malaysia)Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience!
Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe.
The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes.
The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained.
Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out.
For the price, this homestay offered excellent value.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

GGuest UserIt is very convenient to park in the parking lot. The building has the characteristics of the Qing Dynasty, especially the independent courtyard with fresh plants, which is very suitable for listening to the rain on rainy days; the back of the bed is also ingeniously opened with glass, so it is not too dark during the day; the hotel is also very clean, but I also brought a disposable four-piece set.
The customer service guy is very enthusiastic and will answer any questions. Everyone can rest assured to stay here

Perfect
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence.
The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.
