Even after careful selection, this turned out to be a huge disappointment. Although it's called the ”Weaving Mansion” (Zhi Zao Fu), it's only because it's located inside a silk shop. It used to be a Blossom House (Manxin Hotel); had I known it was a converted Manxin, I never would have booked it. Facilities: Very outdated. The door creaks loudly even when just left open. The room basically consists of just a bed. While it advertised a courtyard, the yard is only half a meter wide—might as well not even have one. Cleanliness: Passable. Since I only stayed for 10 hours, there wasn't much to complain about here. Environment: The hotel itself has no real ambiance. You have to walk through a silk shop to enter and exit. There is a fish pond along this walkway which is a tiny nice touch, but that's about it. If you are looking for a traditional garden-style courtyard accommodation, I suggest looking elsewhere. Most importantly, however, there was a musty smell in the room. Mustiness, dampness, and a sticky feeling all mixed together. Since I arrived late at night and was exhausted, I was too lazy to change rooms, and checked out very early the next morning. I spent a lot of time looking at various hotels in Suzhou and thought the ”Weaving Bureau” would be steeped in history, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Breakfast is quite basic, but that didn't matter as much as the massive gap between expectations and the actual environment. Service: Practically non-existent. If you are driving, do not choose this place. There is no parking on-site; you have to park quite far away, and the hotel doesn't cover the hourly parking fees. Out of the 8 hotels we stayed at during this National Day holiday trip, this was the only one that didn't contact us in advance. Therefore, you have to figure out the parking and find the hotel entirely on your own. In a completely unfamiliar environment, it takes quite a bit of time just to ask for directions.

This is a garden-style hotel situated within a gated, independent courtyard. The north side of the courtyard faces the water, and the reception lobby is very spacious. Thoughtfully, complimentary Chinese and English maps of Suzhou are provided at the front desk. We received welcome fruits in the room, and the breakfast was quite decent—solid and standard for this class of hotel. The rooms are spacious; even the standard room feels very large. The hotel facilities are quite new, with a complete range of amenities, and the bed is very comfortable. There's a rumor online that this is one of the top five hotels in Suzhou, but rankings are subjective and never absolute. However, the service here is unquestionably top-tier. All the reception staff are young, vibrant, and energetic. The service is attentive and thoughtful, making you feel cared for like family. Compared to other ultra-luxury hotels in Suzhou, it offers exceptional value for money.

I always choose to stay here whenever I'm in Wuxi, and it's consistently a fantastic experience. The front desk service is excellent and attentive, the rooms are spotlessly clean, and the facilities are well-equipped. This is my absolute go-to for accommodation in Wuxi! Highly recommend!

Because it was before New Year's Eve and I wanted to decorate the room, I called the front desk and added a girl who was working that day on WeChat. Miss Shi Limin was very willing to help us decorate and could provide us with balloons. After hearing this, we were very happy 🥳 Before we The room type we booked did not have a lake view, but Miss Shi Limin was very considerate and helped us upgrade the room! ! ! Touched, like it very much. will come again next time. The hotel is very neat and clean, and the turndown service is particularly good. There are welcome fruits and some snacks. The real world has added this young lady (Miss Shi Limin at the front desk), she is really considerate! I woke up in the morning after checking out today and wanted to take a bath🛀 but there was no hot water! I called the front desk three times but no specific notice was given about the availability of hot water. Then I bothered Ms. Shi Limin again. She said she hadn't gone to work yet, so she would make a call first to help with the matter, and then she would send me a message within ten minutes. He said that because the hotel was full yesterday and there was no hot water supply, he could apply for a later check-out and I could take a hot shower. Okay, I was moved again. The receptionist called me later. It was Miss Shi Limin who came to work and called me to apologize. They also applied for a hand-warmer cup for us because of the hot water. I used to work in a hotel, and I feel that Ms. Shi Limin's service is really good. Within her limited ability, she makes customers feel at home, which is commendable. She is very responsible and patient. Encourage me, your efforts and persistence will become your own shining point 👍 Very considerate to solve the problem for us.

Our stay at Mulan Huayue Inn was absolutely perfect! The inn is located on Zhongshi Street in Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, very close to Shen Hall, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The courtyard is elegant and full of Jiangnan charm, making it a great spot for photos. There are two adorable and friendly cats, Huanhuan and Yingying, wandering around the courtyard – petting them was so therapeutic. The owner was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and responsible. Before our arrival, she sent detailed tips and offered reliable advice for exploring the ancient town and finding good food. She was also very responsive to any requests we had. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. Staying right inside the scenic area meant we could enjoy the quiet water town mornings and evenings without the crowds. Zhouzhuang is beautiful, and this inn is definitely the top choice when visiting. We'll be back!

The room view was absolutely incredible! I saw a picture online of willows and a small river in front of the property and booked it immediately. The real-life view was even more stunning than I imagined! The owners were so kind; when we were sitting by the river at night enjoying the view, they came out and asked if we wanted mosquito repellent, and even brought us chairs and tea. When we checked out, they even gave us some local specialty 'sock-bottom crispy cakes'! My stay in Zhouzhuang was truly, truly wonderful!

I booked a king-size room; it was very spacious but had minimal, simple decor. The duvet felt smooth and comfortable, unlike those in other hotels that make you sweat or feel rough from repeated washing. The bed was firm and springy, which my child loved bouncing on. The canteen offered a limited variety of dishes, and the breakfast was pretty much the same both days. There's no delivery robot, so you have to go up and down yourself. The hotel is on a high floor, so waiting for the elevator can take a while. A big plus is the free parking, although spots on P2 can be tight. The location is central, making travel times to various attractions similar, but driving takes at least 20 minutes. There's a MixC mall right next to the hotel, which is convenient for dining.

Our stay at this Suzhou apartment was nothing short of perfect! As first-time visitors, we were blown away by the incredible value. The location is great, just a quick 5-minute walk from the MRT, which made exploring the entire city effortless. The apartment itself was exactly as described: spotlessly clean, surprisingly spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight for us was the big projector screen; winding down each night with Chinese dramas was a unique and fun experience. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also a huge convenience, allowing us to pack light. The true standout was our host. She was exceptionally helpful, providing a personal recommendations. This guesthouse is really great! It has its own unique charm, the surroundings are beautiful, and it's super clean and tidy. A shuttle picked us up right at the parking lot, and it's only about a hundred meters from the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the dishes are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing. Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍👍
