Pet-friendly Hotels in Jiangsu, China

This hotel is nestled in an alley in Laomendong, right opposite the popular Pioneer Bookstore, which is a great location. The only downside is that it's 1.5 km from the metro station, but we took taxis everywhere, so it wasn't a big deal for us. We originally booked a tatami room, but only found out upon arrival that it was on the B2 level. It had a musty smell, was damp, and poorly ventilated, making it quite uncomfortable. We paid an extra 1000 RMB to switch to a room on the second floor, which was much better. If you're booking, definitely avoid the basement rooms. The hotel has three adorable cats! Aside from the little hiccup with the room upgrade, everything else was pretty good, even though the price doubled during the holiday.

The location is excellent, right in the Shantang Street scenic area, inside the Lingnan Guild Hall. It's very convenient to get to the train station, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lingering Garden. There's even a boat dock right at the entrance. The service was fantastic. On the first day, we arrived early and they helped us store our luggage. As soon as our room was ready, they notified us immediately for check-in. The next morning, we had an early start, and they kindly arranged breakfast for us in advance. The front desk staff, Summer and Huihui, were both very nice. The room was great, set in a garden-style courtyard with a koi pond. We even saw a heron on the first day! The room was very quiet; even though it's in a scenic area, there was no noise at night. The hotel had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning beforehand, so it was cool and dry when we entered.

Plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, with a food street right downstairs from the hotel. We even managed to grab some late-night BBQ after the concert! We ate at that one little spot on the east side two nights in a row, haha! It's very convenient to scenic spots and shopping malls, and it's only a 10-minute taxi ride to the city's most famous night market. I stayed here during a concert, and the hotel environment was elegant and comfortable. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, so sleeping in was no problem. The service was warm and thoughtful, truly heartwarming!

Suzhou has so many hotels, and we spent a long time choosing AnShe. First, its location is fantastic – super close to the Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the Lotus Flower Market, which is a must-visit in June. Second, I saw many reviews praising their service, and it really lived up to the hype when we arrived; the staff were all very friendly and happy to answer any questions. Most importantly, the cleanliness was impeccable; every part of the room was spotless and well-maintained down to the smallest detail. Even though it's not a chain hotel, I was really satisfied with this stay.

Perfect location, lovely hosts, beautiful room with vintage furniture and super soft blanket! Very authentic. During the day time it’s super loud because of the amount of tourists, but staying in this place gives you unique opportunity to explain the town in the very early morning or very late evening (the lights switch off at 23:00). The room can seem small, but it’s old town, it can’t be different:) Unfortunately there was no tea provided, that’s sad for tea-famous country, maybe should be improved. Other than that – my stay was amazing☺️

The hotel's beautiful surroundings and facilities and design truly exceeded my expectations! The pool is clean and a great place to play in the summer. There are also play areas for children to read and explore. There's also a gym and a good breakfast buffet. Overall, it's a great value for money. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suqian. It's close to the highway, offering a quiet escape amidst the hustle and bustle. There's also Wuyue Plaza nearby, making takeout quick. Parking is also very convenient; guests don't need to scan a QR code or report their license plate number. There are also charging stations available, and the rates are very affordable!

Wandered into Huai'an during the Chinese New Year and chose this hotel for a short stay. Coincidentally, the Xiaohu Spring Festival Lantern Fair was right across the street. Chloe at the front desk handled my check-in quickly and with a friendly attitude. The entire experience was perfect, and I just have to give it high praise! The room was clean, elegant, and spotless. The bedding was simple, soft, and completely odorless. The bathroom had a practical wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were complete and exquisite, showcasing quality in every detail. The room facilities were comprehensive, and the air conditioning maintained a comfortable temperature. The hotel isn't far from the major scenic spots, with some even within walking distance. The breakfast variety and taste were decent. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

環境乾淨整潔，造景打理得鬱鬱葱葱，處處能看出店家的審美與用心。整體清幽雅緻，拍照巨出片，獨處喝茶、散心放空都再合適不過，沉浸式感受江南慢生活，下次來還會選擇這裏，睡眠質量不好但是在這邊睡的很好👍強烈推薦給偏愛中式庭院、喜歡安靜氛圍感的朋友！

Choosing this hotel for our trip to Suzhou was an excellent decision. The location is absolutely superb, with the main entrance right next to the Shantang Street scenic area. We could step out and immediately start exploring and sightseeing, making travel incredibly convenient and saving us a lot of commuting time. The villa room we stayed in was exceptionally spacious, with an open and grand layout that made for a very comfortable stay. The in-room amenities were complete, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a mahjong table, which was perfect for leisure and entertainment when traveling with family or friends, really setting a lively atmosphere for gatherings. The hotel service was thoughtful and attentive. During our stay, they even provided a complimentary exquisite afternoon tea. The pastries and drinks were delicious, and it was lovely to relax and enjoy tea during our downtime. The hotel itself boasts an elegant Jiangnan garden style. The courtyard environment is tranquil and serene, offering a stark contrast to the lively street outside, providing a wonderful experience of quiet seclusion amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel restaurant's food was decent; the dishes were homely and reliable, perfectly satisfying our daily dining needs. Our room was cleaned meticulously and was spotlessly clean, making for a comfortable and carefree stay. Overall, the value for money here is excellent. It's suitable for both family trips and friends traveling together. With convenient access to attractions and comprehensive leisure facilities, it's an ideal choice for a vacation in Suzhou. I highly recommend staying here.

Location: Excellent location—just a one-minute walk to the walking street and other famous attractions. Staff: Super friendly and always ready to assist immediately whenever needed. Facilities: Perfect for travelers who prefer having everything available in the hotel. Self-service laundry, drying machines, microwaves, and other convenient amenities are provided. Cleanliness: Exceptionally clean. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are much quieter than I expected. As a light sleeper, I wasn't disturbed at all during my stay. Room: Very modern smart-controlled rooms with voice-command AI assistance, making the stay both convenient and enjoyable. Overall, a highly recommended hotel with a great location, excellent service, modern facilities, and outstanding cleanliness.
