Romantic Hotels in Chongqing

The views are expansive, and it's incredibly convenient for getting around. It's a super easy walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, and only 15 minutes to the North Railway Station and 30 minutes to the airport. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is just the right firmness, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with a smart toilet – all the facilities are top-notch. The front desk service is friendly and efficient, responding quickly within 10 minutes to deliver items, and they even give out snacks and souvenirs. It offers great value for money; the price is affordable, but the hardware and service are on par with a four-star hotel. The breakfast includes local specialties like Chongqing noodles made to order. It's perfect for family trips, offering a warm and incredibly worthwhile experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel location is literally right next to Hongyadong. The room view is amazing—you can see the river, the dock, and the bridge. When booking, they even let me choose my preferred view! It was so nice watching the crowds of people packed downstairs right from the comfort of the room, haha. The receptionist was very helpful, answered all our questions, and had such a warm attitude. The only downside is that the 3rd floor houses the restaurant, so the hallway has a very strong smell of cooking oil.

Honestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better. My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel is super close to the subway station, just a few steps away. Having the 'Eye in the Sky' observation deck in the same building is incredibly convenient; no need to rush or queue. We went up in the evening to watch the sunset and later captured the amazing Two Rivers lights at night. The high-floor view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and the mattress was so comfortable we slept like a baby.

The location is fantastic! Downstairs is Exit 1 of Linjiangmen Metro Station on Line 2, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei, Bayi Delicious Street, and Hongyadong without having to climb hills or walk long distances. It's perfect for sightseeing and dining. The room was clean and tidy, and the twin beds with their Mousse latex mattresses were incredibly comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The facilities are complete, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. They even patiently recommended tour routes and local delicacies, which was a wonderful touch. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended! [Strong][Strong][Strong]

The panoramic Yangtze River view was fantastic. Strangely, one side of the bathroom was a glass exterior wall, completely transparent, so the curtains had to be drawn. However, the inner side had no door, making it an open-plan design, only suitable for solo travelers. It felt very business-like, and you had to switch elevators, which is very characteristic of Chongqing. The location was excellent, just a fifteen-minute walk from Jiefangbei. Being in the city center's commercial district, it was very convenient for food and entertainment. The package included a day trip, valued at 68 RMB. Was that just for transportation? All other entrance fees had to be paid by myself, totaling 236 RMB for three attractions. I couldn't resist buying a lot at the shopping stop during the tour, only to find out later that it was several times more expensive than elsewhere. Don't be a sucker! After buying, although shipping was included, I had to carry it myself, which caused great inconvenience to the rest of my trip. The tour guide's arrangement for this was particularly unaccommodating, a definite минус. Luggage delivery - Free luggage delivery to the airport/train station: This was pretty good. I had intended to travel light after sending my luggage, but the entire itinerary placed the shopping in the morning, which was incredibly inconvenient. Another minus.

We really struck gold with this hotel in Chongqing! The front desk service was amazing—they stored our luggage in advance and even gave us a free upgrade to a floor-to-ceiling window room with a fantastic view. The staff were super helpful, answering all our questions and patiently explaining local travel tips. In the evening, they even reminded us to head upstairs for free desserts. The ambiance was top-notch, and all our travel fatigue instantly melted away. A full 5-star experience, my absolute top choice when visiting Chongqing!

Room had a stunning night view, hotel is grand in both scale and splendour - the minute you walk in it smells wonderful and the size of the lobby is impressive. The staff are very friendly and quick to help - they will let you know all details relevant to your stay and any questions you have will be answered quickly. The rooms are clean and well furnished, we stayed in the deluxe suite which had a fantastic view, and a massive bathroom with shower, bath and washing machine. We also had a kitchen with dishwasher, stove and fridge freezer although we did not use those. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very confusing though - even with labels at door we couldn’t figure out how to make it hotter instead of colder and unfortunately the bathroom started to smell at nights and the smells seemed to be coming up the drains, closing the door helped. Othrr than that, the stay was perfect and because of the room we stayed in we got executive benefits which included breakfast, high tea, welcome snacks and access to the executive lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks.

This hotel is perfect for traveling with kids, especially if you're not a big fan of spicy food. The breakfast was great, the room was spacious enough, and every staff member was incredibly friendly! The hotel is right by the river, and if you take the stairs out the back, you'll find yourself on Baixiang Street. From Fudan Middle School, you can easily walk to the Kaiyuan Road elevator and quickly reach Jiaochaokou. The location is truly excellent.
