Sea View Hotels in Yunnan, China

It is more of a BnB within a condo but comes with an amazing view of Erhai lake. Despite being on the 29th floor, we were surprised to be able to hear noise from cars and people below. The service was great and the host was easily contactable through WeChat to arrange free transport to and from the train station as well as breakfast in the morning and warm milk at night. The biggest downside was the distance from Dali Ancient Town which was about 30mins. But still a good location if you want to be near to the train station and have a great view.

My favourite accommodation throughout our trip! The view is so amazing and the host was very very helpful. There are rows of food vendors just across our place and a large shopping mall, including walmart just 8mins didi ride away. Train station is conveniently located 10mins away. Btw if you’re taking didi to the station and it’s raining, do cater at least 15 mins for ride hailing.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Dali, Yunnan, and had an overall pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impressive — everything was well-maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The service stood out as one of the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with directions or local recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. But would like to comment on the photoshooting service that this hotel provided, although they stated it’s free, but each room ONLY FREE 5 PIECES NON EDIT photos no matter how many days you stay. So please don’t ask for this service if you don’t want your pocket to have a hole 🤣, would recommend you to have the traditional costume shoot in Lijiang or Shangrila which will cost in cheaper price where they can provide costume rental and full make up. This hotel they charge a very high price for the photoshooting if you want to buy the photos from them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang, if they like photoshooting. Or else you can stay in other better choices hotels.

Amazing hotel with a vibe and theme around it. Great round-the-clock friendly service and fantastic amenities. Would recommend! Hotel also linked us up with really awesome 包车 services (both in terms of price and just the quality of the service). 24-hour buggies are also available around the resort area which you can get access to by simply WeChatting the hotel (they reply really quickly no matter the time, usually within a minute).

We felt at home since being picked up at the train station by the hotel(pre-arranged earlier). The owner welcomed us warmly by greeting us with the white scarves once we arrived at the hotel. The hotel also helped us with the bag to our room located on the 3rd floor. We chose this hotel just to feel the farm stay vibe of China and we are glad we chose it in the first place. The rooms we booked were big and enough to accommodate 4 of us. It has a heated floor and, bathtubs in the room, we find it odd but the children love it, a warm ventilated shower(the temperature of the shower room can be controlled), a smart toilet (the toilet rim is heated and it is so convenient to use, especially in winter). They provided also the room with a tea set, mandarin oranges, sweet snacks, and enough toilet amenities. The hotel also provided Yunnan with traditional dress at the GF to be used by the guests. Halal food for breakfast was good. The hotel also offered us a ride to Dukezong Ancient City twice. The. We came back to the hotel by using didi. Only one thing maybe can be improved the pillow is a bit thin but it is not a big problem for us. Overall we were amazed by the hospitality and the effort put in by the hotel owner and all of its staff. We wish to come back here in another season. Love from Malaysia.

The moment we stepped into the hotel , it was a Wow factor all the way. The decor, ambiance, the woodwork of the building are exquisite. Even though our stay was cut short, the experience of staying there is unforgettable and not to mention the genuine service and hospitality extended to us are truly remarkable and exceeds expectations,going far beyond the ordinary .. and for that thank you very much . Absolutely no hesitation to recommend this hotel .

service from the manager Mr Qiu Feng was amazing, very kind. room was very spacious too. but just a little reminder to those staying, the swimming pool is not for hotel customer but only for those that stay in the villa suite. we had ordered the family room but we upgraded to the villa suite to get the private swimming pool.

The characteristic is that the large French windows are really convenient. You can watch the sunrise while lying in bed in the morning. The hotel has its own small courtyard, convenient parking, a charging station next to it, many specialties, the front desk will recommend, and it is very close to the ecological corridor. The accommodation environment of the hotel itself is quite satisfactory. You can read other reviews. Overall, it is recommended!

Oh, you have to hear about my recent stay at a hot spring hotel in Erhai, Dali! It offered the most breathtaking views and truly exceptional service I've ever encountered. The weather was simply divine during my visit, and waking up to that fantastic vista of the lake and mountains each morning was just so refreshing and peaceful for the soul. The manager was an absolute gem – so friendly and full of brilliant suggestions for activities and places to explore. He even thoughtfully arranged a sleeping guard for the kids' bed, just in case, which was such a kind gesture! I also really appreciated how, when I inquired about a gym with day access, he personally looked into it and got back to me that same afternoon. And that evening, when I was ready to go, he had the butler drive me right there! It was truly a fantastic experience for my entire family. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!

During the May Day trip, I accidentally saw the introduction of Dali Songyun Cliff Hotel. I was attracted by the scenery of the hotel and immediately booked it on Ctrip. The next day after the reservation, the hotel staff called to confirm the itinerary and informed that there would be a one-to-one service from the hotel butler before check-in. Two days before the trip, the butler A Tao contacted me to inquire about my travel needs. Although there were other itineraries before checking in at Songyun Hotel, the butler A Tao was still very patient and answered all my travel inquiries without treating me differently because I had not checked in yet. After checking in, the butler A Tao also followed up the service in a timely manner, and was able to understand and provide services for our needs after check-in in a timely manner. Thank you very much for the service of the butler A Tao, which gave us a very pleasant stay experience. The location of Songyun Cliff Hotel is very good, and the view from the room is very good! The hotel has 2 restaurants with rich dishes that can be chosen according to personal preferences. The scenery is also very good. The dining environment is quiet and comfortable, and the service is also very good. Afternoon tea and desserts were presented, and the breakfast included in the room was also quite local. The free airport drop-off service also brought our trip to a successful conclusion. It is indeed necessary to experience this local No. 1 specialty hotel in Dali!
