I had a very pleasant stay at Erhai Lakeview Apartments. First photo is the view from the room, absolutely stunning! Room is big and spacious with a lot of space to open our luggage. We were assisted by very friendly and helpful staff 小乐 throughout our stay and he provided us with food recommendations around the area as well as possible itinerary or activities to do in Dali during our stay. Additionally, the apartment is conveniently located above a convenience store, local eats, a cafe, and options to rent e-scooters for transport around the city. The street opposite also has many good food options. Would recommend!

Having afternoon tea with a view was an absolute delight, boasting a stunning sea vista! The half-mountain view was breathtaking; I could see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake right from my bed. At sunset, the entire 'orange sea' stretched out before the window – even just staring at it felt blissful. The room design was simple yet luxurious, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows and a sea-view bathtub creating an amazing ambiance. The KingKoil mattress made for an exceptionally sound sleep, and details like L'Occitane toiletries and smart devices were perfectly thought out, making it clean and comfortable. The butler service was top-notch, offering attentive guidance from check-in to itinerary suggestions. They were quick to respond but never intrusive, allowing for a truly relaxed experience. Public areas like the 'Sky Mirror' and infinity pool were perfect for amazing photos. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and afternoon tea was incredibly soothing. It's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, conveniently located, allowing you to escape the noise while still easily experiencing local life. Next time I visit Dali, I'll definitely choose this place again to let the wind and light of Erhai Lake wash away all my fatigue.

I was really worried based on some reviews, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was generally clean and quite bright. Just a small suggestion: the bathroom floor could use an upgrade, as it looked a bit moldy from water splashes, and there were some water stains around the faucet in the sink. Everything else was great. Also, I'm not sure what the people upstairs were so excited about last night, but they were still jumping around past midnight 🥲

The room was clean, tidy, bright, and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly. They offer a wide variety of free fruits and drinks 24 hours a day. The service was also excellent; they answered all my questions thoroughly. The room had a great view, directly overlooking Erhai Lake. The hotel's breakfast was also quite unique, with different options each morning during my two-day stay.

My husband and I had a marvellous stay at the Shang’er Hyatt Seaview Hotel. We were especially impressed by the exceptional staff—everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We are particularly grateful to An Con and Liu Huan, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Despite our very limited Mandarin, both of them made a sincere effort to communicate with us and cater to our needs. An Con kindly helped my husband order an SD card, which was incredibly helpful. Their care and attentiveness towards us were truly exceptional. Liu Huan shared a great deal of insightful information about Dali, China, and Chinese culture. We were delighted to discover that our ancestors are from a region close to where Liu Huan comes from. On her day off, she even invited us to hike to Jizhao Temple and enjoy temple food with her—an unforgettable and meaningful experience. They also organized a driver for us to explore Lake Erhai for the day. Thanks to their support, our vacation in Dali went smoothly and effortlessly. As for the facilities, the hotel is clean, well maintained, and located in a quiet, peaceful area that we thoroughly enjoyed. The daily breakfast was hearty and delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable; however, the only drawback was the lack of privacy due to the see-through glass doors for the shower and toilet. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, located at the Dali Erhai S Bay Ecological Corridor Branch, to anyone seeking a quiet and relaxing vacation.

Traveling with my child, we skipped the crowded Old Town in Dali and found a hidden gem instead. Just a seven-minute drive from the Old Town, we stumbled upon the gentle embrace of Yue Shanhai – nestled by the mountains with a view of the sea. Directly accessible via National Highway 214, it's a secluded paradise where even the wind seems to linger. You don't need to go all the way to Kyoto; their garden is already overflowing with romance. Sparse greenery, blossoming paths, and the elegance of a dry landscape garden blend seamlessly with Bai ethnic style. Every step feels like walking through a poem. Strolling with my child, even time seemed to slow down. We stayed in a two-story courtyard suite. Opening the window revealed the mountains, and closing the door, we could hear the wind, cherishing every moment of our family time. The hotel lobby is spacious and elegant. The sweet scent of afternoon tea lingered, and while I sipped a refreshing drink, my child chased after the floral fragrance. This is what perfect travel looks like. The sunrise was the biggest surprise! No need to brave the cold by Erhai Lake; the third-floor terrace offered a complete panoramic view. The morning light pierced through the clouds, illuminating the outline of Cangshan Mountain and splashing across the turquoise waters of Erhai. Wrapped in the warm glow, we took photos before heading downstairs for a hearty breakfast, feeling a warmth spread through our hearts. This Shuanglang B&B, highly recommended by my friend, is absolutely amazing! As soon as I walked in, I was stunned by the massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The panoramic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake are simply breathtaking. Every photo I took turned out to be a stunning, atmospheric shot 📸. ✨ The butler service was incredibly thoughtful! They picked us up at the intersection, helped with our luggage, making our trip with kids so much easier and stress-free. ✨ They even offer free professional travel photography! The photographer was fantastic, and the unedited photos were already perfect. ✨ The public area's afternoon tea was gorgeous, breakfast was nutritious and well-balanced, and they even delivered heartwarming desserts to our room in the evening.

The environment here is fantastic, and the owner is incredibly welcoming! When I arrived, I was on my motorcycle, so I didn't ask for help with my luggage. But when I left, they helped me transport it to my taxi on a scooter, which was so thoughtful. I had booked a room on the first floor, and the owner mentioned it might be a bit noisy. I told them I'm a light sleeper and might need to rebook if it was an issue. To my surprise, they checked and found a vacant room on the second floor and upgraded me for free to an incredibly spacious room! The room itself was beautifully decorated and spotless. I could go on and on with praise! Honestly, if you're coming to the area, you have to stay here. You're right by Erhai Lake, and there's a lovely coffee shop downstairs. The coffee shop is also beautifully designed, the coffee is delicious, and the owner is just as warm and friendly. Plus, there's an absolutely adorable little dog there!

Traveling to Shangri-La, I wholeheartedly recommend Songtsam Retreat at Shangri-La. It offers an immersive ******* experience that truly elevates your stay! The hotel is located right next to Dukezong Ancient Town, very close to the prayer wheel, allowing you to easily soak in the unique ******* culture and atmosphere with just a short walk. The location is absolutely perfect. The entire hotel is rich in ******* charm, with characteristic decorations everywhere, creating an incredible ambiance. Every photo you take here is simply stunning. The rooms are spacious and airy, and exceptionally clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. Considering the high-altitude environment, the guest rooms thoughtfully provide oxygen concentrators and disposable nasal cannulas to alleviate altitude sickness discomfort, showing great attention to detail. And the service is even more heartwarming and attentive. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but the staff... (The sentence seems to be cut off here, but I'll continue based on common hotel service expectations). A particularly delightful surprise was the in-house travel photography service. The costumes are of high quality, and the makeup is natural, elegant, and not overdone. Sisters who want to take Tibetan-style portraits should definitely book in advance. This stay was a perfect 10 – so gentle and healing. The next time I visit Shangri-La, I will definitely choose Songtsam Retreat at Shangri-La again, and I recommend it to all friends traveling here~

Great location near train station. Traffic is bad so even thought the distance is short, it still takes 30min. Walking is faster. Otherwise, it’s just across road from lake. Gym is well equipped. Also has a nice pool but needs swim cap (compulsory). Breakfast buffet also has good variety. Overall recommend.
